    🏆How do you think the 2024 GMC Canyon will change the game in the midsize pickup truck market?🤔

      It won't. GM will continue to play the "too special for everyone" crap they're pulling right now. I doubt I'll see one at all. Remember, I never saw a single '23 Canyon on the streets this year. I visited the biggest GMC stealership in my city. NO Canyons on the lot.

    My biggest thing that drives me nuts about these stock “offroad vehicles” is GM gives their most capable off roaders WHITE seats and accents all over them. Doesn’t seem practical whatsoever bc that’s going to get the dirtiest fastest. WTH

    I don’t get this video. It is about waiting due to 6 reasons for a 24 over a 23. Suggest you do your homework next time. The only difference is one thing, AEV edition. Everything else in this video is on the 23 models. I have a 23 AT4 with every option. Absolutely can get everything that the 24 will have except the AEV model. I just placed an order this week for the AEV edition.

    The turbo 4 cylinder engine is a work horse, yet the gas mileage is disapointing, and about the same as a 5.3 V8. I wish GM would offer this truck with a non-AFM 5.3 V8.

    • @HurricaneTroy
      @HurricaneTroy 10 місяців тому +1

      I agree I'm getting the exact same gas mileage from the 4 cylinder Turbo in my 2023 Canyon as I did in my 2020 Sierra 5.3L V8 which doesn't bother me enough to make me regret the move to go with the Canyon but they need to stop acting like the MPG is something great when it clearly is not

    All of these options are on the 2023 models now except for the AEV edition and that’s a starting price of 69k according to TFL truck’s website, I have a at4x edition 1 now and o have no reason to want to trade in or wait for 24 model and it has a 9month wait, great truck but zero reason to wait for 24 model

    Cost of ownership? Reliability? Resale value? I guess we’ll have to wait and see how those factors shake out compared to the 2023 models.

    Update for both 2024 Canyons and Colorado (Trail Boss/Z71 and some LT models) will have the high output engine as well as the bigger screen. Just something to think about if you want to wait.

  • @largol33t1
    @largol33t1 9 місяців тому +11

    Why bother with a 2024? have you paid attention to the market at all?? For 9 months the Canyon has been one of the "rarest" trucks around. Five dealers within 100 miles of me have a grand total of not even 11 of these. And none are the Denali trim. And the average cost is way beyond $55-57K. And they keep cutting back production to keep it from being available. I have NEVER seen a 2023 Canyon on the streets of my city and that's all I need to know about whether to get one or not. I'm giving up on GM. They can sit on their inventory all year in 2024. Not spending $57K on a pickup that probably isn't going to be as great as they claim.

      The plant in Missouri that makes the Canyon was the 1st plant to be shut down because of the UAW strike. That's why they are rare. Not because demand is low.

    The fact that the engine performance is one of the reasons the Canyon price point is so much higher is ridiculous. The engine is the exact same as the Colorado's lower-output base models, just with an ECU flash to boost the performance. That costs $500 at the dealership. Dumb.

The Ford dealers in my state only have about 2-3 on the lot no matter where I look and they are always marked up $5K even though the options list is SHIT. They can keep their overpriced crap.
