What a wonderful video. It's full of fascinating information well coordinated with the camera work and very well spoken too. So glad that this popped up on my newsfeed. It was a pleasure to listen to and watch. But why so few likes I wonder? The algorithm needs likes to spread the word.
A wonderful video. A small correction: that isn’t the River Glaven, it’s the Blakeney Channel which flows directly out to sea. The River Glaven flows out to sea through neighbouring Cley-next-the-Sea, which then connects to the Blakeney Channel, but that’s a mile away from Blakeney village itself.
Great Video. For some reason I had to definitely watch this one. Yes my last name is Blakeney. I intend to visit here on my next trip to the UK. I’m Australian with an English born mother (Halifax). Love watching your videos and the narrated ones are so much better. So informative. Cheers.
Hello, my last name is Blakney as well. I’m African American. My family traced my ancestry back to a caucasian man named John Blakeney by way of pageland, South Carolina. The story I heard on why there’s 2 different spellings of my family’s last name is that 2 cousins, wanted to get married however they couldn’t marry with the same last name by law. With that, one decided to drop the e after the k thus changing the spelling to Blakney. I’m always intrigued when I meet other with this unique last name. God bless.
@@blaketake3970 hi, I too had been told there may have been a letter added somewhere probably an E. My paternal Great Grandparents were also English. They were Blakeney’s and Bebrouths. My mother was born in Halifax W Yorkshire and was a Gray.
I really love this mode of your presentation. If I may suggest, your walking subtitles mode was also informative and well versed. I believe if you would continue that along with your voice narration, it might be easy to follow along with your walk. I love Newcastle upon tyne. if you explore more there. Like the Hindu temple area, benwell park side etc would be great.
Nice video. I do prefer the older ones without narration and just the natural sounds. I know some people prefer narration, but if you comment via subtitles it would be the best of both worlds.
Hello now are you love your vidio it looks a beautiful place and I love the history its very interested its my birthday today best wishes take care stay safe from Lynn x ❤😊
Excellent narration. Clear and well ordered. Thank you.

Thank you for this! My ancestors are from this town, but I could not find much information on it.

Let's Walk on top form.
Interesting video, very smooth, are you using a gimbal?
It is well worth going up to the top of the church tower if you can. The view is spectacular.

Happy Birthday. It was mine a couple of weeks ago.
Did it occur to anyone that seals don’t need disturbing and local people get so fed up in summer
The place looks very nice but is bit depressing to see only old people walking around seems everyone is over 70
My favourite , classy place
