The video of the nurse trucks loading the tanker was impressive, but this looks like it would really work great for longer distance hauls. I've never seen a frac tank used in person, so this was a really cool video. It looks like you're able to keep everybody moving independently which would be huge benefit.
Great video always look fw to watching your videos I miss the dairy farm life but working on a million turkey farm just dosent cut it thanks for the up load
Cool thing that tank. There are such tanks in the game I play on the pc. Looking forward to see more of it in action. Thanks for the work you put in making these videos.
Looks like that will allow the hauling trucks and the spreading trucks to function independently. I think you would see a big jump in manure volume being spread. Good video, thx!!
Excellent investment Andy popular in the UK in some form or other and its only matter of time that you will have a drag line on it and the trucks will be busy to keep it going 👍
I like youtubers, who talk to viewers and tell what happens. It is interesting to hear about farming in other countries all over the world. You are a good example of how a farmer should be.
We have never used frac tanks here in my region of Maryland , but I have seen them being utilized, in my many runs to John Lambs, and synergy dairys in NY.
Hi ya Andy!!! Over here we call em "NURSE TANKS"....but they are normally not custom made like your Frak one is…..here they come in the shape of a modified 20' shipping container or similar size of tank but do not have an inbuilt in agitate facility. What I hear is that they are hard on the hydraulic rams(cylinders) under the rear and almost all need a brake system added to them aswell…. some jobs may not use all the manure in them when the field is done so they transport them with slurry inside, hence the need for strong hydraulics and brakes. A front roof plate of 3/4 feet aswell as a rear one stops the splash out when travelling. Well wear on the new setup and all the best from South Coast Ireland folks!!
LOL 😎 😂 Andy, love the end... Nice shinny blue frac tank with splatters down the side......and you ask people to hit the like button, subscribe and all that Crap.. Very fitting 🤣😂 Good video, as usual!! Looks like a great set up!! I'm sure when everyone gets used to it, it will make a big difference!!! Thanks for the video!!!
You’ve got a lot of gear for manure hauling. Seems like some of your land is quite a distance away. I love all these videos, interesting to see what it takes to run such a big operation
Hey Andy just watched this great nurse tank but one thing I’d change on it is the position of the axel with it being at the rear like that it need a rather large turning circle! There a company near me that makes them the largest they do is 150m3 think that works out at just over 34000 gallon. They position the single or optional tandem axel further up the body that cuts down the turning radius needed if I can I’ll send u a brochure lol they’re called slurrykat!
I like the idea of a large mobile slurry store for big livestock farms where there is a lot of slurry. Another very good and really interesting video young man, thanks! Oh and someone left an empty plastic water bottle on your rear left tyre of the frac tank (visible at 22:36 in the video) which needs collecting otherwise it could end up in something it shouldn't be in like machine or eventually a beast. Take care young man!
I know about rules storm water, and I am licensed in the state of Michigan. And run the SW program for the company I work for. For MI inspection and resourd keeping
Hammering Down for a week with that setup you could do some damage to lagoon levels Andy💩 👍😎ideal 😁you did a merging video on the same ground on the 10th June 2018👍🍻👌
Not so bad when you are going to ressed the land but a nice umbilical system would work really well with the frac tank and reduce your compaction at the same time 👍👍
That's a lot of poop pumping going on there, all well thought out and designed it looks like! I'd say not holding those trucks up waiting will really increase your daily gallons hauled! Looks like you've got lots of neighbors right there ,are they pretty understanding? I see a chisel plow there is that what's next for this field ? Thanks for the interesting video!
When you first went over the frac tank, it really didn't look to be that big. Now that you have the 8120 hooked to it, it's actually quite a bit larger than one thinks it is. Now, this raises a question, are you too concerned about killing the grass with all the traffic going to and from the frac tank? Nice to see one in action for once. It's also nice to see someone taking their time going down the road with such a large load behind them. Most tend to go full bore. Cheers :)
Man that is a lot of poop. Good concept and needed piece of equipment. As you said it helps to keep things moving. Do you have any trouble with residents complaining about the smell? Here in Ga. there is a lot of chicken poop spread and folks raise hell about the smell.
Unless you go to a dragline system you can't realize the full potential of the frac tank or eliminate the soil compaction caused by those big tractors and monster spreaders. If you want see real manure application check out the channel of Phil's pumping and fabrication. Draglines and dumping stations with the frac tank produce nonstop movement of manure. It also eliminates pumps on all the trucks with all maintenance they require.
@@FarmingFixingFabricating I think you have the same 2019 luck that I do. Do something to improve efficiency and 10 things immediately break to negate the improvement. lol I didn't make it to EFD this year, what are crops like in your area? I'm on the Ontario side North East of you. We were terribly wet this spring then couldn't catch a rain to save us until the first week of sept.
Would you ever consider separating the sand out of the manure as it goes into the lagoon so you do not have to handle so much volume and also help with agitation and buildup?
Hey bud, I’m not sure what your name is yet. Where are you located? I’d like to see an equipment tour. As well as the farm tour. I’m new to the channel liked and subbed from Prince Edward Island,Canada
It amazed to me Mr Andy how busy you are and you take so much time for us thank you SIR
Thank you, I have fun doing it.... All of it
Enjoyed watching the video Andy 😊
Allways great videos . Thankyou andy.
It's all about efficiency. Looks like it works well to keep the trucks rolling and allowing multiple unloads at the same time. Great stuff Andy.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to take us along for the ride
Thanks for another great video and explanation. Always good to see something that makes your operation more efficient.
Great video Andy as always 🙂
Thank You Andy, for taking time to do these videos.. I enjoy watching them..
Super awesome setup! Love the sound of that Kenworth leaving the field
Really pretty country Looks like a great addition to the fleet

Thank you Andrew and crew for sharing this video🤠Have a blessed day💫❤️
That’s an impressive setup. Hope the weather stays good, and equipment keeps rolling.👍
Good job this Frac tank looks like you need this great videos by the way andy cheers
Thanks for the always interesting and informative video. Drone footage is sweet
As always Andy Yal do things in a BIG way. Great video
Heck yeah, one of the best and most satisfying places to spread manure really thick, heavily populated areas 😄👍 Tank looking good!
Everyday I see you guys workin in that field after school I go to Camillus middle school so I drive by your operation every day cool to see
Great video always look fw to watching your videos I miss the dairy farm life but working on a million turkey farm just dosent cut it thanks for the up load
It's always exciting to try out a new piece of equipment for the first time!

That is one very slick “Jack!”
Really like the videos you make...your explanations are freakin awesome!!!!
Big T thanks

Yeah gonna take me a bit too see and get caught up on all of your video's lol
Love that 900 sound ,hell yeah ,I'll drink to that
Andy impressive to say the least . If I was young I'd want to come work for you! Thanks for taking the time to post the vids!
Thanks for watching
Great video thank you for the info on the tank
That's the Ticket to keep things rolling...👍👍

Great video buddy. very informative. keep up the good work andy.
Thanks
Great video!!
Andy - was driving from Camillus to Elbridge today and saw your crew working with the tank. nice.
It makes thing a lot easier

I would think this will be a huge time saver

Cool setup
Thank you for the knowledge
Nice farm and maschinens you have

Pretty damn impressive
Thanks for video that tank should keep things moving
Always good to watch your videos Andy. We're thinking about going the route with a frac tank and knife in the manure in instead of truck spreading.
Looks to me like that tank was a great investment. Should make your manure hauling more efficient.
Great idea.

Some slurrry outfitt love to see long vidoe on that
Looks like you guys were right by the rt 5 695 on ramp. That frac tank sure looks like it will help.
Yes
Not so bad when you are going to ressed the land but a nice umbilical system would work really well with the frac tank and reduce your compaction at the same time 👍👍
I agree with you
Time for a drag line!!
Yes sir
In other words, you just fixed the weak link in moving your ummmmmm 🤔🤔 fertilizer 👍👍👍👍✌️
Love it
Damn Andy, it really seems like every couple of months you're having yet another axle break or issue with one of those 8 wheel spreaders
We call them nurse tanks over here in England we connect up our big pumps and umbilical off of ours!!!
Like having a grain buggy between the combine and trucks but in reverse.
dsm reloader just about
nice
the tank my neighbors have has its own diesel engine self contand hyds ,the move it with an ol semi
Edward Niemyjski that sounds like a nice setup

Lee Steele the neighbors are really good and if they have a problem we try to accommodate them. They usually don’t demand much.
Trying to be good neighbors goes a long way with those relationships!
@@leesteele9290 yes it does indeed
6:14 to 7:07 you guys went the same way I go to school everyday
Yup, familiar territory for you
👍😊
All of those house's make me cringe!!! That tank should give you more options now and In the future. Good luck man!!
Should allow us to get into an area and it again in a hurry for sure

We plan on plowing it and planting corn there next year
That is a sweet set up. Will really help to keep things flowing. Do you have any grief from the neighbors?
Not much
this is really cool cutting-edge technology congratulations all good friend a hug from Wanderlei chick Mr Bean 😎🇧🇷
Thank you
Man that is a lot of poop. Good concept and needed piece of equipment. As you said it helps to keep things moving. Do you have any trouble with residents complaining about the smell? Here in Ga. there is a lot of chicken poop spread and folks raise hell about the smell.
I understand more and more. Now, if you get a minute, show me the manure being spread from the tractor tank rig. Thanks.
Andy, do you anything to help in compaction in your fields? Seems like it would be a nature of the beast with the heavy EQ that you use..
Defiantly need a drag system
You'd best get a SMV sign on that rig!
You are right, I don't have a stick on one.,... Thanks for the reminder. ... ..

Someday, if they ever perfect a system that works.
Hey bud, I’m not sure what your name is yet. Where are you located? I’d like to see an equipment tour. As well as the farm tour. I’m new to the channel liked and subbed from Prince Edward Island,Canada
What's the gallon per minute on the frac tank pump? Looks like a 6 inch pipe so about 2k gpm?
8" pipe we are loading the 8500 gallon tank in less than 3 minutes
How many truck loads of manure will that hold?
Big T 3-5 depending on the truck. It holds 23,000 gallons
Wonder how much it would help to have a steer axle on that tank on back to help with cornering and driveways and such... just a thought.
Yeah it would help but for the amount of times that we have to move it, we should be able to manage with it the way it is.
Do you see you're operation get another to run at a time so you could be spreading in two places at one time?
Possibly
How many gallons of shot per day you think you make ,,or how often you have to empty your lagoon
Mike Muniak we empty the lagoon 3-4 times a year
I was shocked when he took a left on Forward Road..... I'm surprised he made it.
That is a sharp turn
I feel sorry for the neighbors, I can smell that from here.
Fields look dry, curious why you don’t just field spread with the trucks?
Compaction and travel distance
Hey there andy, did you guys get that diller tank from Don Diller? We are real close with him
Lynn Is his name. Don is a guy that does sales for him.
Nice set up . Did you buy the tank or rent it.
Bought it
Smell like shit in camillus I LOVE IT KEEP SPREADING BABY
hey Andy did you buy the old Dell property and all that property near the Inn Between?
No we rent that
Where is your farm. Looks like ny or Wi
Andy I see that you travel the same route are you worried that you will get soil compaction
Defiantly going to be an issue. If you travel the same route it ends up being less if an area to be considered about.
Need a tractor with a ILS front suspended axle, to get rid of the bouncing. JD 8320R.
That would be nice
How far was this field?
13 miles away, about an hour round trip
Is there a reason why the 9410 does not have a big slurry spreader as well as the 93?
manu alvarez we only have the one larger tanker
How many loads dose it take to fill the frac tank without off loading on the spreaders?
It holds 23,000 gallons. 2 semi loads and one straight truck.
Would you not be better with an umbilical system to spread from it to keep the heavy tractors and tankers off the field?
Yes we would be
