from what ive read on the forums, if you want traction control all the way off you have to do the esc sport/esc off button mod and turn starting vibration reduction off with vagcom or obdeleven.
Thanks for the Tune and voiding any potential warranty! Also high-torque is for tuned dsg's, you're going to burn up his clutch packs.

I liked this video so much I bought a Stage I ECU tune from IE along with N IE badge...lol for my 2019 GLI. Cant wait to load up the tune. Ill also get credits to load up the same Stage I tune for my MK6 GTI....the ability to have up to 5 cars made my choice to buy IE a no brainer! Love the content guys.
Well because of this vid id eventually did the TCU tune too....smh. love it. The TCU is a must to go along with the ECU. Thing just rips now! My Hankook Kinergy tirs are holding this back.

Loved my mk7.5 but i could never get used to front wheel drive never hooking up. It was fun on the highway though! Traded it for an Alltrack and hopefully an is38 soon! 👌🏼

Outcast Performance , LLC I like it alot! I did an APR plus tune and it made the car so much better!! It rips in the snow and has a ton of storage. I have 3 dogs so it’s nice throwing them in the back and not getting my seats ruined
Eh I like the wheelspin ,it's fun to play with and see how far you can rip em or carry on thru a corner , just add more steering.
Spinning tires are more like a rudder so they require more steering input, just go with it.
I’m having a hard time believing you need a intake for stage 2 take out the snow guard in the factory airbox add a drop in filter and it will flow as well as a aftermarket intake
You don't. The VII can do Stage 3 BT on stock airbox with a drop in filter. Stage 2 you don't need anything. Just a downpipe at a minimum.
Revo told me the same thing on my mk5. I was worried because i had a forge wintake but it flowed so much air that it would throw the car in limp mode everytime it was on it until i tuned it
Needed a maf sensor
did the same thing with my mk7 gti i removed the snow guard and put a KN filter in it i made 341 hp and 531 torq! its as good as a intake!

Hold the traction control button long pressed. This is how you completely shut off any traction assistance in all the vag cars.
Let me talk to you about turning that traction control off. Use VCDS to change the ESC settings!

Peter licari I love my IE tune but go low torque if dsg and not doing the dsg tune. He is kinda wrong In the video. You will fuck the DSG. I’m low torque. Doing the dsg tune ASAP. But I did apr before and this tune is way worth it cuz that torque!!
Do APR, way better software
I plan on doing IE stage 1 high torque with the dsg tune at the same time. I feel like being able to tune it yourself and not paying someone to do apr is more desirable.
BJ Laughter bro I did apr on my Passat. It was ok but IE has been tuning Audi’s for years. Their tune is legit. It’s probably faster than a stage 2 apr just off the torque alone. That’s why I went IE.
Trust me it’s all in the torque with these things.
@@TheRhynoTTV That's the problem, just because someone can make more power does not mean that they are a better tuner. It's about power AND reliability along with driveability etc. I work closely with both companies and trust me APR has them blown out of the water.

You can use obd11 tk turn traction control completely off. Than you can set the button to turn off traction to have 2 modes. If you press it once just basic traction off,if you hold it for a few more secs ,than no traction control off.

You just have to hold the traction control button until it beeps, pushing it just once quickly just puts the traction in like a sport mode which only partially disables it

The wife has a 2014 Jetta , and I put the button kit in a while ago.
I checked it with rosstech and it was good to go with no messing around.
It'll rip tire pretty decent now and has much nicer throttle response , but in a snowy parking lot I decided to test it with a few e brake rips and when you're just about over the edge of losing it, it still kicks in.
It's way less active though , I pretty much leave it off all the time anyways.
Kinda nice to know it might still save me if I get really out of shape.

@@IgnitionTube apparently it was a forgettable 2 seconds hahahaha jk.
Instead of tapping the traction control button. Hold it for 3-5 seconds. This should do the trick. I only do this when performing stunts like 180's or reverse 180's. Just tapping the button will leave me chattering and falling short of the full spin needed.
*Caution if you do use this feature and are a amateur or someone who thinks they are good then you will send your car into a curb. This feature puts you into a near no assist mode and it's similar to driving a old school tuned civic. Exiting turns need extra throttle attention. The torque will bite and depending on your traction/tires you may notice wheel spin eating towards the outer edge of the corner.
Stock 2015 Manual 6 Gti 89k
Michelin Sport P3 switched to Firestone Indy 500 very similar to the Discontinued version Eagle F1
Zero issues since 50k except passenger mirror has the notorious glue separation from the glass due to the heated mirrors at 86k. Reminds me of my 95 passat days. (Note Don't leave the heated mirror switch constantly on)
2004.5 Jetta Gli 6 speed manual 88k A.P.R. Tune, Downpipe, cat, stage 2 clutch, Brembos, Center pillar boost gauge, Good year Eagle F1 switched to Firestone Indy 500.
Factory issue with driverside wheel bearing @12k. Pancake pipe hose blew off @ 32k. Coil pack failure @ 38k.

If he's getting those traction control lights in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and its a pre2018, gotta turn off "Starting Vibration Reduction" in the Brakes module > adaptations using VCDS or OBDEleven. Not sure if someone else has commented this yet. But this is necessary to cut the nannies.
