Will this model loop and pull out safely from a steep dive. I had a larger Polaris which was OK - but elevator authority was terrible. I need something that is partially aerobatic.

I also found an extra servo socket and a bind button on the main board. Separate rudder is possible. But what protocol? I'd love to fly this on my Radiomaster.
@@KremerFPV The extra servo outlet is live on the flight board and there are pot input solder points on the transmitter board (need to remove a shorting to ground link) that could be used by an added pot to control a pan or tilt servo for a (very light) camera on the plane. Quick question. When flying it, if you were to land it upside down in water, would it still be recoverable? Can I use the prop to get it back to shore or do I have to go in and get it? Thanks!
@@mike_t_007 Yes, but it doesn’t work very well. And usually the tail prevents the prop from actually getting in the water. So I just went out in a kayak to get it.

As far as I can tell it only disables the gyro stabilization. Untortunately the rudder deflection does not become bigger like it does when you use the Trick / Roll Button combination
Great video! Thank you for posting it, very helpful. Quick question though: can this plane do vertical 360° loops in the air (like a rollercoaster)? Tia!
Great video, really informative! 👌 A few quick questions though: - are there any lights or any other signal that indicates when the battery is running low power and about to die? Asking since one of my other RC plane models didn't and almost lost it during flight. - since this plane is in the water often, is there any rust that occurs around the metal components? Or are the parts rust-proof? Thanks for the answers, and keep up the good work~ ✈️
Thank you! Yes - the LED strips will start flashing when the battery is low. Electronic parts are waterproofed but I won’t let salt water get near the motor as it will be damaged over time.
@KremerFPV wow, that's good news about the lights! I'm definitely going to buy the plane now 👍 and thanks for the heads-up regarding the motor, I will definitely keep that in mind! Thanks for your fast reply 😊 Keep up the awesome work~ 👏
On mine the controller starts beeping loudly and cuts the throttle to about 50% giving enough time to land under power. I wouldn't worry anyway the crazy thing is crash proof. If you place the battery far enough backwards it does the craziest aerobatics on it's own with the throttle off.
It will take off from short grass, snow or reasonably level dirt - just gun the throttle and haul back on the elevator! The plastic belly skid plate is pretty tough but probably not a good idea to continually scrape it on rocks, cement or tarmac though! You need flat water and gentle steering to make a clean take-off from water. It doesn't help that, because of the single servo running the ailerons and rudder together, the wrong aileron dips in the water as you swing the rudder to steer. But it's doable. 😉
I was wondering if someone took this controller apart? As I would like to put 2W 2.4ghz booster in it and in order to do so it would be nice if antenna in this controller was plug and play (ufl connector) NOT solder in.
If you get some light cable and a swivelling connection, you could connect it to the battery on your truck. Then you could fly it around your head until you got dizzy and fell over - or the motor burnt out! 😜😁 🙄
@@KremerFPV I had a chat session with a Banggood rep. I'm supposed to get the answer to my question regarding replacement 3 blade folding prop and other parts. I'll share when and IF I get a response.
This has to be the biggest waist of money I have ever spent on this plane. It does not fly very well at all and the remote is the worse. Maybe I got a bad one I don’t know. Pulls hard to the right when trying to take off doesn’t want to lift out of the water very well. Throttle wide open and the stick turned all the way to the left just to try and get it to take off
Have you adjusted the trim buttons on the radio? Also the troubleshooting page in the manual tells you to check the metal servo arms and make sure they're installed correctly and not bent. Between these three things I'm sure you'll find your problem

According to the manufacturer it cannot be bound with other radio controllers and the extra servo connector has no use.

Lower the throttle almost all the way down and glide to the ground. It will be safer for you to land it on water.
