i bought this two days ago and it arrived today. you can get the light string in the clear tube on the leading edges of the wing. all you have to do is bow the end of the tube away from the wing and start feeding the lights into the tube, its much easier than you would think
Quick tip...push the battery as far forward into the nose. It flies MUCH better as you're on the COG. Youll be able to fly full throttle perfectly as well
That thing is an absolute riot. I was smiling and laughing during the entire video. Sometimes I think we tend to get a little too serious with the realistic airplanes and scale flying, and all. I think it's okay to get out there and be goofy!
This Raptor H650 does fly as advertised😊only flowen from grass or Snow 😊 advertised also needs a little throttle on Landing I found out the hard way what happens if you try to Glide it in doesn't work very well like to drop in on its nose that's a tough little bird it's a ball a fly considering I only have one Good arm To fly with so much for being a southpaw in my favor I normally fight fly will the radio that set up for mode 1, Not mode 2 like this plane is Been flying ✈ RC radio the radio controlled planes controlled planes for 30 plus years it's in my blood I will probably die with a radio in my hand lol May the force be with us!😅

Yeah I was very skeptical of the other bigger version also, surprisingly they both seem to fly really well and amazingly tough, definitely want to see it fly off water. 👍🏻✌🏻
The original battery goes all the way in the front of the plane for proper cg the big tray is gonna be for bigger batteries I recommend marking the CG with to original battery all the way in the nose where you can't even see it anymore
I was expecting you to try loops and rolls like the big version. it seems to be able to do it. Please do try next time and also run it from water. looks super attractive,
It does rolls but no loops. Not enough elevator so it doesn’t allow it with the single button press. As a matter of fact it drilled into the ground after about 4 continuous rolls as it couldn’t recover. I never even went to pick it up. I hit the throttle and flew it from where it crashed. It just loosened the vertical stab a bit. Finished that pack then fixed and flown again.
Well maybe you should try flying again with the battery in the front,or was it JUST for the canopy latch? But YES you should try this one on water just like the other one.

Looks a little challenging to fly, but it does fly reasonably well. Since this flys/ skids on asphalt, grass water etc, I've got a challenge you wouldn't have considered-- fly/ skid UP Bash Mountain ⛰️. You've done the rest so now conquer a Mountain. 😊 . What say you Saylor's dare you test you skills & wow & amaze your viewers wadda ya say. Remember if you do, it has to be skid fly up, no fly up, at least until you accomplish the first. You could also skid / fly across that puddle. A triple, ground skid, puddle skid into flight. The trifecta. Like that you came back @ the end to get your little win (sorta) over Abby. 😄😄 you get so few over her Nate. 😃😃🤭🤭. ⚓️⚓️👍💚💛🧡👍😄😃🤭👍⚓️⚓️.

Would love to see it on water. Just a thought for smooth landings. You mentioned that you have to keep forward motion. For a landing, instead of killing the throttle? Keep flying it with throttle, but fly it down with elevator, then kill throttle once it’s on the ground? Just curious. Cool little fun plane. Those things are pushed by some Chinese manufacturer that keeps showing up in my feed - bro will fly hi-alpha indoors, Kung-Fu chop it into 11 pieces, then pull a sick water landing.
Also if you press left button 5 times fast gyro goes off and if trimmed and balanced a skilled pilot can fly it pretty good and do some tricks ..then press button 1 more time and gyro is back on...once you make a few adjustments its a real good flyer...
I stopped flying planes months ago,but I did get this one flying really well using stock batt and cheap radio...I would shut off gyro do tricks..than hit button again and gyro locks it in again..I also installed a 2 blade prop.
Now it needs a real radio...I'd love to know the protocol and bind it to my Radiomaster 4in1. Flew it tonight and hit 52.7 mph! Only got to 187 ft of altitude. Nice enjoyable flight.
Oh man I remember, because I bought it due to your videos! And it really is pretty great. This one being smaller, but for about the same price still makes me kinda want it. One thing that is disappointing about the old one...I need a new clear cockpit and I cannot find any parts. :(
I removed the tape that was holding on the LED lights and slid the LED light wire inside the tube. The access wire was pulled back into the center of the plane. A few drops of glue on the underside slot in the wing held the wire in place.

I just lost the big one in a tree yesterday waiting on good weather to get it out it's high up in the tree but I'm going to try my hardest to get it down a 300$ plane I want it back and it was my first time flying it
I dove into rc i ordered 2 remo hobby rockets then i got a 1:18 truck which has the 390 motor and is harder to drive than the rockets but seems as fast or maybe a hair faster

If you could get to the receiver without cutting the plane up, it would be easy to put in a Spektrum receiver and even ESC! That's be cool with telemetry too
I have both, small and GPS version large, the props on this small version do still break, battery goes right into nose not directly under battery door ( for both versions), the LED’s for the small one go straight into the tubes by bending them from the inside wing, the large version has no tubes and after crashing into a tree one half stopped working for me. I like them both but the big one is faster, goes further and has GPS but costs over twice the price of the small one!

EPP is Extruded PolyPropylene. It’s a closed cell foam kinda like old school nerf ball.

Absolutely 3s 850 mah by Ovonic Air works great too
You will want to put that 2K directly under the canopy the heavier the battery the more you will need to move the battery back to adjust you CG

Fyi 1000 mah 2s battery goes in front compartment ...lid holds it up there..no velcro needed..also apc style prop 4.75 x 4.75 is better performance

They made it a folding prop, so when you stomp on if you don’t break the propeller lol

Got a Question. Is the foam paintable if you want to change the color? Fly it off the water!
Most EPP is paintable with krypton. Test a small part first though.

So this version won't let you do a roll or a loop on your own, only with the stunt button?
Yep. Rolls with the button. Not enough elevator for loops.
