I would like to add that I was immersed until I saw a Mexican president turn down cash. Most outlandish thing in the whole goddamn movie
Haha
😂😂😂
That was what you had a problem with and not the bullets making people fly across the room and how johnny Depp's eye sockets healed up so fast?
@@tonyweaver2353 Nah, all of that can be explained by movie magic, However a Latin American president not being corrupt? not even in a fantasy movie will i believe that!
@@VelcroReacts I mean basically every president on the planet accepts campaign donations and legal bribes , but ur not wrong lol
The politician not accepting the money was the funniest part of it 🤣
ESPECIALLY Mexican politician.
I love this movie. One of johnny depp's most underrated performances as agent sands. 👌
Been a while since I saw this one, Depp's character didn't die like that right? Seems a bit anti-climactic given the surreal action in this movie.
@@R__K nope it's assumed sands survives although there's never any sequel which I feel like they missed out on
@@blainebarnett8449there were actually talks of a spin off trilogy of sands.
I wish that came to fruition
Johnny’s scene was a real eye opener.
🌽
I make you see it clearly
Eye for an eye
I SEE what you did there.
@@simonfernandes6809 bravo sir

I mean, he's gotta be a wizzard to shoot bullets out of a shotgun.

“Sons of Mexico” but 2 of them were from Spain and one from Italy 😭🤣
You know people from Spain, and Italy inhabited Central America before it was even called central America right? Wow!
Spaniards are the sole reason that all Hispanic countries speak SPANISH
@@devinspinney8257 I think this movie takes place before the Christopher Columbus years tho.
Certain anonymous antique phrase prays: "Mexicans are born at wherever they come out from their cojones"
First, the characters are mexican regarless of their actors; second, in the inmortal words of Chavela Vargas, "los mexicanos nacemos donde nos da la rechin---da gana!"
Look it's Edward Uzihands

🤣
It's insane how many characters Johnny Depp has that have some kinda CG done to their eyes, truly look it up ! ! ! ! !.....
Looks more like make up
@@ulfrthewolf5065 Well your half right, yes there used fake blood and makeup to enforce the swelling but inside the sockets is CG so that it LOOKS like his eyes are gone!!!....

that is some Jack Sparrow level of shenanigans 2:00 😂
I was in Mexican Special Forces for 30 years (brown beret) and I can tell you this gunfight is so realistic.
I was in combat at Guadala-Hoochie. Our best sniper was a blind guy.
Yeah it's crazy what things can happen. I used to play in a football club when I was young. Our best striker was in a wheelchair and our goalkeeper had only one hand.
We didn't lose a game for 44 years in a row.

JAJAJAJAJAJA
I remember seeing this back in the day and not knowing how I felt afterwards. It's a really bizarre movie with some good qualities.
It was embarrassing bro. Mexicans just watched it to see how stupid it was, I mean.. nice try through
Watching El Mariachi and then Once Upon a Time in Mexico is like watching The Fast and the Furious then skipping straight to Fast Five 😂
It’s a fun watch, not a smart movie but it definitely has a style of its own
@@dannysan1272 Desperado was the only one I like, for the absurd comedy.

mortal kombat 3 vibes!
Do you think getting shot in the head kills you right away without any time for a response?
@@harbringar828 When u get shot, u don't feel any pain, brain shots down nervous system immediately. C'mon man, u can't be serious... *_(if you are serious, u can watch some informative videos about that.)_*
Robert Rodríguez man, dont take it seriously 🤣
Bodily functions don't just call stop instantly... Its like a helicopter... Takes time to crash... The helicopter is still in the air but the propellers aren't spinning and the engine is off... Hell there are cases of people being shot in the head and their body uncontrollably spasming after there is body cam footage of when a husband shot his wife in the head.
There's a reason why I watch this movie on the Day of the Dead. The final battle is set on that holiday.
This was so badass
The title should have been "Everyday life in Mexico".
Sure this movie doesn’t hold a candle to Desperado or El Mariachi but I still love it 😄
It's pretty crap
@@starwarsroo2448 Yeah this is a movie you watch once only. Its pretty bad.
@@Barbro247 Rodriguez is so overrated, peoplet hino because he's been around forever he's a classic, he's not he makes something good occasionally, most or his stuff is jus the same
How is this not classified as a comedy?
They forgot to have mel brooks write the jokes
Because is to serious
I had a hard disk full of movies and i put this under comedy
I don't know why Johnny Depp is trying to look cool when you literally just got kidnapped and had both his eyes ripped out
Yeah but... He's blind and he kills the bitch that did it to him. That's a W
Just cause you aren't cool doesn't mean he can't be
Because he wanted to die fighting.

What the hell bullets are those 😂
Plot bullets

Johnny Depp would have been the perfect crow...
Blasphemous talk.
Depp has been playing Hunter Thompson since that movie came out.
No one is The Crow except Brandon. It's his, nobody else's.
He's not asian.
Russel Crow...
A spin off movie on just johnny depp character would have been epic
No that would ruin it like all spin offs
Machete was a spin off by the same guy who did this. Don't be so quick to judge spin offs, you'll miss diamonds.
@@therealblackcerberus2371 Machete was not a spin off. It started out as a fake trailer in the Grindhouse double feature by Rodgriguez, and Quentin Tarantino. It was so well received it was turned into an actual movie as was Hobo with a Shotgun.
@@censorshipsucks9493 So Machete was a spin off..... from the Grindhouse double feature by Rodgriguez and Quentin Tarantino?
@@murigrim No. There was no Machete character in either movie. It was a fake trailer in the movie.
Just another brilliant performance by the worlds most under rated actor.........too good for hollywood.
I love how Johnny Depp has been blind for 30 minutes and he’s already become Daredevil 😂!
I always thought it was the most badass and sad scene. Honestly don't remember this movie aside from this scene.
Every gun in this movie shoots rockets powerful enough to hurl a grown man 20 feet.
Enrique feeling badass shooting an already dead guy
How was this movie so bad....desperado was so damn good
Desperado was good because it had the action to go with the story. this movie was more of Latin flavor but the action was missing. Its only this fight scene that brought the movie to life. But other than that it was rather boring. But full credit to Robert Rogriguez. He pulled a movie with only Latin stars Banderas, Hayek, and Eva Mendes. Speaking of Mendes where is she now. Probably the hottest Latin woman after Gabriela Sabatini.
@@brajeshsingh2391 Banderas is Spanish/Hispanic right?
Love the oldschool black powder squibs
I was gonna type something about the laws of physics but remind myself it's just a movie.
I was a fan of the original El Mariachi and then saw Desperado which was the Anglo version and loved both. However, I remember being a teenager and watching, well more like sitting through this movie with my dad and both of us were irritated by how campy they made this successor. Depps role was pretty good (loved him in both H.S.T. adaptations) as well as Banderas but good lord was this bad.
Oh damn, enrique, Antonio and Johnny omg!!!
The Exact moment when Johnny Depp become Eyeless Jack
What became of his eyes? I don't plan to see the movie, so no worry of spoilers.
@@thevirginmarty9738 They got taken out-the hard way.
@@thevirginmarty9738 Long story short, Eva Mendes' character was his liaison, but he didn't know that she was the daughter of Willem Dafoe's character, who was attempting to over throw the Mexican President. Eva led Johnny to a trap, revealing her true intentions, and Johnny's eyes were taken.
Johnny Depp's eyes grew back miraculously, he grew a beard, cut his hair, went to law school, became a prosecutor in mexico, his wife and daughter were murdered by dipping them alive in acid on the orders of Manuel Diaz, and he went on to survive many more improbable death defying revenge adventures meant to balance out power in Mexico.

And a nice choice of real bullet for props?
I'm surprised to see ppl saying 'Oh! How's that even believable! ' I mean, Hello! They set the tone of the film in first five minutes, that its going to be over stylized and dramatic. Just enjoy it! The Sands character is one of the best badass characters I've ever seen.

There's no other badass movie like this
Except Desperado.
Desperado, which is a great movie. This one had some nice scenes and cool characters but the movie itself sucks ass.
What are some of the wacky ass guns in this movie
The old 4 barrel shotgun at the end.
