Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s “Cruella,” an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious - and notoriously fashionable - villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. “Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.
Disney’s “Cruella” is directed by Craig Gillespie (“I Tonya”) from a screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara, story by Aline Brosh McKenna and Kelly Marcel & Steve Zissis. I love that window display. It is way better than before. I like the part where she says to the woman that worked in the model before her that “I feel sad if you think that looks good” I agree. I personally would wear that outfit 😁
Emma Stone deserves a flipping award for this, she absolutely nailed this character! I absolutely loved this film, I've seen it 3 times now and it'll never get old 😊😀👍

I literally watched this movie more than three times! It never gets old! Emma Stone absolutely stole the show in this movie! Her English accents sounds so realistic, and she acts just like Cruella! And I absolutely love the story, the character development, the concept of a Disney villain as the main character, and the portrayal of the 1970's London punk rock movement!

Curiously, Miranda Priestley was based off Cruella's character, but I agree she resembles the Baroness in this movie more.
To clarify, Miranda was inspired by Cruella De Vil from 99 Dalmatians. I think Emma Stone's Cruella is a younger person with a different style, but she will probably end up copying the manner of the Baroness which in turn will be the basis for Miranda Priestley.
