Once vibrant neighborhoods filled with families now dying. Beautiful old homes burned and boarded up. What happened? Did businesses leave or did people just give up an leave. Who knows. Sad that this is happening in America, the Once greatest nation on earth. Sad, very sad. This is not the America I grew up in.
So much poverty in this country. Hovels near mansions. Instead of trying to get to Mars, maybe we should concentrate on improving our own citizen's lives.
I get a sense that there's still a lot of "pride of place" in this town. Admirable. Also I believe there must have been a super sale on Seafoam green & Cornflower blue house paint at some point. 😊
It is sad . Beautiful places and broken houses. There are no children on the streets.. It’s probably good to spend a weekend in such nature with your family?
Like so many rural communities in the US, Dawson was once a busy farm town. The decline of family-owned farms caused many people to leave rural areas for better opportunities in cities. There are still nice homes there, but the this site chose to show the 'run-down' areas. Dawson is struggling to make a come-back. Wish them good luck.
This is what happens to your neighborhood when life becomes too expensive to maintain and you have to choose between your car and your house or your groceries and medical care.
There are many homes that are being kept up, with flowers and gardens, even the old home at 10:37 - someone is maintaining the yard at least, but then the one right afterwards - very sad. What did happen here? I tried to look up the history but didn't find much. Was there an industry or big company that left? Thank you for the video and stay safe!
As someone living in the UK I would give anything to be able to buy a house, do it up and retire here. It seems every state is stunning in its own way, just a shame these places become like this as there is no work to be had as most leave to find work in the bigger cities. One day I hope to do a road trip around your beautiful country.

Hello, I am not American, I would like to know if new construction of houses in the United States continues to use wood as the main element, I am surprised to see so many wooden houses
It's only cold in some parts of the US and warm in others. Here in Georgia it looks like temperatures range from lows just above freezing to highs around 90F and very humid all year.
Every one of these homes were someones pride and joy the day they moved in. The economy left them behind.

Nice camera work Hoods N Hollers. Watching from New Zealand.
Thanks so much for watching!
One thing I'll never understand. How are these people living in run down hovels, falling apart old houses, but their cars look show room new?
Cars down south don't rust
Their priorities are clear. They'd rather have a nice car than a house that is in good condition.
Thank you for sharing, I find everyone of your videos very intriguing.
Thanks for watching!

Porque Estados Unidos está así? Cuál es la razón para que las personas abandonen sus viviendas que con esfuerzo cuesta lograr las cosas.
ITS SAD TO SEE THESE TOWN ABANDONED WHY?😢
So sad.
Hello, I am not American, I would like to know if new construction of houses in the United States continues to use wood as the main element, I am surprised to see so many wooden houses
The place looks half-abandoned
There's some serious foliage taking over parts of that town.
I see an unusual number of blue and green houses.
Hurts your eyesight looking at this. Especially when you saw it thriving and pretty. 😕
I thought it is cold in the US why most of the houses have ac?

Dawson used to be a nice small town. Whole country is dying on the vine !
Everything these people used to do has been OUTSOURCED ...so ?
Дачные поселки в России, куда приезжают на лето, выглядят лучше
...and?
Your driving scares me and I am not in your vehicle 😮
Amerykański sen zamienił się w amerykański horror .
