I actually thought about the Twilight sighting in chapter 2 being the Tree of Harmony. I mean, it has to be the Tree of Harmony. Why is she short in the projection?
@garthdavis4320 But even when Celestia, Luna and Cadence gave all of their powers to Twilight to fight Tirek, they don't lose their height. The only time that seemingly happens is when Luna is changed from Nightmare Moon, but that was an Element of Harmony reset, not a loss of power.
Great theory!! I also had a moment of wondering if the hologram was the Tree of Harmony, but I am not familiar enough with all of the updated lore and all to have had much evidence. You really laid it out well here, and I'm pretty convinced that this is the case! It only makes sense to divide the spider from the other bats if the spider itself is not even the same kind of being. Good job, I really hope this is what they are going for, because I love the idea of Twilight giving Opaline a chance with the seed. That would be much more in character than other things I've seen suggested.

Totally unrelated, but if anyone watches the recent episode of Tell Your Tale, I just want to let you know that it occurred after Make Your Mark Chapter 6, not Chapter 5, so don't be surprised by the dragon. You need to check the Equestria Daily G5 episode guide to see the placement of the Tell Your Tale episode.
@@eglolI know, right! Hasbro has this thing about Tell Your Tale time placement in the Make Your Mark timeline. According to the Equestria Daily article, this probably has something to do with Hasbro moving around the Make Your Mark release date from the very first chapter, confusing the Tell Your Tale director and writer with the Hasbro's decision making. Sometimes Hasbro even move around the Make Your Mark episode, causing some problems with the plot. Just to give you a glimpse, according to Equestria Daily, Make Your Mark Chapter 4 episode 2-7 and Chapter 5 episode 1 occurred between Tell Your Tale episodes 53 and 54, and according to the writer, Make Your Mark Chapter 4 episode 1 was originally supposed to occur after Tell Your Tale episode 54 before Tell Your Tale episode 55, which means Bridlewoodstock is supposed to occur in Chapter 5, not the beginning of Chapter 4. Remember how Bridlewoodstock was originally supposed to be a standalone special (I mean standalone from the Chapter itself not the timeline, they're definitely part of Make Your Mark timeline and canon). This forced the writer to change part of the episode mid-production to fit the timeline. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Im actually pretty sure its not a Pre-recorded message from Twilight. Because it says “if youre seeing this, Earth pony magic has been activated for the first time ever”. That can indicate twilight simply predicted the Earth pony magic will be activated and recorded the message for the time it happens. But there is no way she could know the time will be after her spell is broken and that Opaline is still a threat. Therefore it has to be either Twilight’s spirit or the tree of harmony
Hmm, this theory actually works and is probably correct, especially if you factor in that Tree of Harmony box, which Opaline now has... this box is the last physical remains of the Tree of Harmony and a relic that Opaline had found, but because Spirit of Harmony was now in the Unity Crystals, the box is now dormant and useless to Opaline, or so she thinks... As for Opaline's Together Tree... it's kind of simple how that worked for her... she, in her own twisted way, "befriended" Misty, though that'll seem very unlikely, maybe deep down, Opaline secretly genuinely cares about Misty, her only "friend"... though she probably won't admit this, even to herself perhaps until the very last minute, maybe..? (Also... I have a long-held theory about there being a mysterious, unknown, secret, hidden arch-enemy master puppeteer mega villain who's been manipulating things from behind the scenes since before G4. No one even knew of their existence. This theory of mine was originally meant for G4 (but loosely ties in with the previous Gens, particularly G2 and that era's absence in the universal MLP timeline). However, it could still also apply to G5 as well...)
I really like this thought between opaline and misty. My thing is how she mentioned she found misty as a foal at one point which means at some point she was able to leave her castle instead of bound by only its interior. So one has to wonder how that went about. Another thing I do agree she probably was able to form her together tree by manipulating misty even then into believe if she was her only friend as they mentioned how the tree requires others friendship to allow it to grow if I’m not mistaken.
I think this is unlikely, for Doylist reasons. They like to reference some G4 stuff in G5, but only the stuff thatʼs particularly recognizable, or only in unimportant ways. If they give more answers about the past, they wonʼt require understanding things from late season 8 or early season 9 of FiM. Then again, it would explain why the story calls her a spider.
There is also another reason why the hologram of Twilight is probably the tree of Harmony, Twilight put all the magic in the crystals, and the crystals in i think the episode in chapter 1, the crystal started looking glitchy, and black expanding holes started appearing when the ponies argued a bunch, so then the crystals basically works like: get along or else you die. and that doesn't really sound like something Twilight would do, at least not on purpose, BUT the tree of Harmony however trapped 6 students under the school and basically just: FRIENDSHIP ISN'T JUST A PONY THING!!!!!! Now i have a friendship test for you and if you dont pass and be loyal you be stuck here 4ever lol. so it would make sense if the spirit of harmony helped Twilight create the crystals and made it work basically like: get along and no racism or the world will be destroyed lol. cuz that sounds more like something the spirit of Harmony or Discord would do but not Twilight Sparkle would do.
Unless Twilight is indoctrinated enough to not the the evils of the Tree and believe that keeping it alive and make the ponies even more dependednt on it is a good idea.

The Tree of Harmony can do almost anything, and in season 10 comics, they find other trees of Harmony outside of Equestria. And they never said if the season 10 comics are Canon to the Gen-5 comics or TV show.
Is it not possible to ask the person behind the G5 show in regards to what happened to the other races? I mean, we now have weird looking dragons that have somewhat mellowed out over the centuries and gave the Mane 5 plus 1 dragon citizenship due to doing the trials, but maybe the other races will appear in later episodes.

This actually makes a lot of sense. The Twilight that warns the Mane 5 looks like young Twilight from before The Last Problem time skip and I doubt the events with Opaline occurred prior to The Last Problem. The Spirit of Harmony always appeared as Twilight’s younger alicorn form.

I remember that Chrysalis gains power through love, surely SOME changelings would still miss their queen *they wanted her as their queen, but just wanted her to show some love* Thus visiting the statue of the Mean 3 and unintentionally feeding her giving her strength. Also... I dislike Opaline's whole backstory, would have made more sense if she was part dragon hence her obsession with Dragon Fire and fire immunity.

Look closer at the remains of the treehouse of harmony and you will see something is behind it. Also I have a theory on where some of the creatures ware specifically a few of the Changelings and the hippogriffs/ sea ponies might be. Maybe some of the ponies are actually changelings and maybe the river we see in the scene of the evil one’s castle (you know who I’m talking about here) that could be where they are. Also I would love to see Capper one more time even to here his voice at least one more time.
Interesting video. Though, if I may, you might want to consider turning your volume up in your videos. I had to turn the volume all the way up on YT just to hear you at a normal volume, and I normally am able to keep it pretty low with how loud my computer is.

Upload the video on private, and watch it yourself to see how the audio levels compare to that of other UA-cam videos. If it's too loud or too quiet, adjust the volume in your editing software and repeat till your levels are around that of other videos. You can then delete your test videos. To save on rendering and upload times, you can just render a small part of the video for your tests
The spirit of the harmony could have actually made the "web" because the elements are some what similar to the crystals and i think that the spirit can control the crystals because it added the message for the g5 to,see soooo that was my theory

I honestly think that OPALINE is actuslly STARLIGHT GLIMMERS MOTHER We never actually got to see Starlight Glimmer's mother only her dad its possible Opaline could have been Starlight Glimmer's mother when she was younger while Celestia was still princess and Luna was in the moon that could be when Opaline left Starlight Glimmer when she was still a baby making her not remember as her father had to raise her and stuff by himself... I’m just gonna say my theory again because I don’t think I’ve seen anyone but me think about it. I think that Dawn the bat is Starlight Glimmer, the Greedy bat being Opaline, and the Spider being Twilight Sparkle. I mean why would chapter 6 be called The Secrets of Starlight if it had nothing to do with Starlight Glimmer. My guess is that Starlight had a big role in trapping Opaline. While I agree with your thoughts about the hologram not being Twilight because I also made those connections to when the spirit of the tree of harmony came in the form of Twilight when talking to the Student Six in Gen 4. Then again I could be wrong. We could both be wrong for all we know! We can only speculate and assume things. You’ll never truly know until the truth is revealed in chapter 6.

Not just that but I do hope we get more clarity from Other characters from the past that are immortal and we’re around to tell them their own part on how it took a toll. While g5 is still picking up it’s own shoes the story still interest me itself on how it’s a whole society learning from history itself in a way while tackling all that’s changed or evolved.

But speaking of which, in Ponies Unraveled created by Vinson Visions which is comedy series featuring G5 and G4 which is expanding for crossovers, Twilight was appeared at the moment and she accidentally hit Izzy's rocket which causing her rocket sending launched in the air and she was embarrassing and Sunny and Izzy we're encountered that Twilight was still aliveness and the episode that I remembered was Izzy's Rocket. And also I like to create the spin-off series which is Pipp and Zipp and Sunny and Izzy especially Misty since no one never made the spin-off characters of them and I was using SFM was my own option to make a animated series and I love SFM. And also I created the crossover which is G4 and G5 in my own SFM Shorts. It feels like cartoonish for that reason but sometimes some episode has G rated and PG-13 rated. PG-13 means it not suitable for young children. And G rated means that young children could watch a good one.

Great theory!! I also had a moment of wondering if the hologram was the Tree of Harmony, but I am not familiar enough with all of the updated lore and all to have had much evidence. You really laid it out well here, and I'm pretty convinced that this is the case! It only makes sense to divide the spider from the other bats if the spider itself is not even the same kind of being. Good job, I really hope this is what they are going for, because I love the idea of Twilight giving Opaline a chance with the seed. That would be much more in character than other things I've seen suggested.

According to the Equestria Daily article, this probably has something to do with Hasbro moving around the Make Your Mark release date from the very first chapter, confusing the Tell Your Tale director and writer with the Hasbro's decision making. Sometimes Hasbro even move around the Make Your Mark episode, causing some problems with the plot.
Just to give you a glimpse, according to Equestria Daily, Make Your Mark Chapter 4 episode 2-7 and Chapter 5 episode 1 occurred between Tell Your Tale episodes 53 and 54, and according to the writer, Make Your Mark Chapter 4 episode 1 was originally supposed to occur after Tell Your Tale episode 54 before Tell Your Tale episode 55, which means Bridlewoodstock is supposed to occur in Chapter 5, not the beginning of Chapter 4. Remember how Bridlewoodstock was originally supposed to be a standalone special (I mean standalone from the Chapter itself not the timeline, they're definitely part of Make Your Mark timeline and canon). This forced the writer to change part of the episode mid-production to fit the timeline. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Im actually pretty sure its not a Pre-recorded message from Twilight. Because it says “if youre seeing this, Earth pony magic has been activated for the first time ever”. That can indicate twilight simply predicted the Earth pony magic will be activated and recorded the message for the time it happens. But there is no way she could know the time will be after her spell is broken and that Opaline is still a threat. Therefore it has to be either Twilight’s spirit or the tree of harmony

Hmm, this theory actually works and is probably correct, especially if you factor in that Tree of Harmony box, which Opaline now has... this box is the last physical remains of the Tree of Harmony and a relic that Opaline had found, but because Spirit of Harmony was now in the Unity Crystals, the box is now dormant and useless to Opaline, or so she thinks... As for Opaline's Together Tree... it's kind of simple how that worked for her... she, in her own twisted way, "befriended" Misty, though that'll seem very unlikely, maybe deep down, Opaline secretly genuinely cares about Misty, her only "friend"... though she probably won't admit this, even to herself perhaps until the very last minute, maybe..? (Also... I have a long-held theory about there being a mysterious, unknown, secret, hidden arch-enemy master puppeteer mega villain who's been manipulating things from behind the scenes since before G4. No one even knew of their existence. This theory of mine was originally meant for G4 (but loosely ties in with the previous Gens, particularly G2 and that era's absence in the universal MLP timeline). I really like this thought between opaline and misty. My thing is how she mentioned she found misty as a foal at one point which means at some point she was able to leave her castle instead of bound by only its interior. So one has to wonder how that went about. Another thing I do agree she probably was able to form her together tree by manipulating misty even then into believe if she was her only friend as they mentioned how the tree requires others friendship to allow it to grow if I’m not mistaken.
I think this is unlikely, for Doylist reasons. They like to reference some G4 stuff in G5, but only the stuff thatʼs particularly recognizable, or only in unimportant ways. If they give more answers about the past, they wonʼt require understanding things from late season 8 or early season 9 of FiM. Then again, it would explain why the story calls her a spider.

The Tree of Harmony can do almost anything, and in season 10 comics, they find other trees of Harmony outside of Equestria. And they never said if the season 10 comics are Canon to the Gen-5 comics or TV show.
Is it not possible to ask the person behind the G5 show in regards to what happened to the other races? I mean, we now have weird looking dragons that have somewhat mellowed out over the centuries and gave the Mane 5 plus 1 dragon citizenship due to doing the trials, but maybe the other races will appear in later episodes.

Look closer at the remains of the treehouse of harmony and you will see something is behind it. Also I have a theory on where some of the creatures ware specifically a few of the Changelings and the hippogriffs/ sea ponies might be. Maybe some of the ponies are actually changelings and maybe the river we see in the scene of the evil one’s castle (you know who I’m talking about here) that could be where they are. Also I would love to see Capper one more time even to here his voice at least one more time.

Upload the video on private, and watch it yourself to see how the audio levels compare to that of other UA-cam videos. If it's too loud or too quiet, adjust the volume in your editing software and repeat till your levels are around that of other videos. You can then delete your test videos. To save on rendering and upload times, you can just render a small part of the video for your tests

I mean why would chapter 6 be called The Secrets of Starlight if it had nothing to do with Starlight Glimmer. My guess is that Starlight had a big role in trapping Opaline. While I agree with your thoughts about the hologram not being Twilight because I also made those connections to when the spirit of the tree of harmony came in the form of Twilight when talking to the Student Six in Gen 4. Then again I could be wrong. We could both be wrong for all we know! We can only speculate and assume things. You’ll never truly know until the truth is revealed in chapter 6.
