I would think the alicorn tribes stopped using all their powers because it was unnecessary, not a war. MLP has been dark at times but I doubt their wars would have scared them into not using all their skills ever again. If they lived in very different places, different abilities would be used. That their other types of magic just weren´t that useful or necessary anymore. Like, the tribe that became the earth ponies might have had non-fertile land and need to use that part of their magic, their focus on getting enough food. Pegasi tribe might have been in a place where flying was everything. Unicorns might have lived in a place where defending themselves with magic was important. Then they could find Equestrian land and all the tribes would want the safer and better land, forcing reluctant cooperation until the Windigoes. I like this theory though. It would explain why Sunny looks different from the evil alicorn.
I saw a theory like this years ago but now it’s confirmed? I hate how this new logic including opeline wasn’t released till g5 if it had always been there. I thought alicorn were earned not grown in another land? This si so confusing. I appreciate theories like your and taking the time to put this into the clearest understanding for fans.
Interesting, so alicorns from this gen now have the ability to transform when they want and can just revert back to their og born type. And sunny is the first of a whole new gen of alicorns, so that means this villian (which I suspect is radiant hope from the comics) is from the old Equestria. That would explain why she is still alive because of her alicorn form, and that also makes me wonder.. does that mean twilight could still be alive. And could this villian be the reason the magic of friendship was lost for so long, all questions we'll have to see answered in the upcoming series I suppose.

Problem: Luna and Celestia were present for the “no Alicorn has ever been born before” line. They were not originally Alicorns according to this line (that I believe was literally delivered by one of them themselves).

That's why on Journal of the 2 sisters they are said to come from far away lands and both born as alicorns. Also in the comics they talk about a queen alicorn named queen parabola that existed even before equestria was founded by the sisters. (Also has zebra stripes which could mean she is a zebra alicorn too)
As usual those are some pretty good theories! it would indeed be interesting if an Alicorn civilization did and or does exist, however one of the biggest things to wonder about such a civilization is if all of the Alicorns in it are all female or if there were male Alicorns in it as well? but either way i'm sure that's a topic you'll cover when the time comes.

So, technically Luna and Celestia are winged unicorns. (Cadence and cozy, are horned pegasi.) In original mlp as faust wrote them, Luna and Celestia were not born alicprns since they are winged unicorns. That would mean they ascended like twilight. Until tirek was present there were no alicorns. The only "true" alicorns would be flurry heart, and perhaps this unknown alicorn. -- but Sunny would count. However: Flurry came from a pegacorn and unicorn. Twi, tia, and luna were all unicorns. So... the only options are unknown alicorn. I have a theory about how this whole shabang happens... What if this all started because of Flurry heart. Flurry heart should be a true immortal like celestia and luna even though they shouldn't be but they have lived 1000 years anyways. It has been said that twi is not immortal, This included princess cadence... Maybe a alicorn lives as long as they are needed or deemed and since Celestia and Luna were needed to keep the balance they lived forever... but what about flurry heart she was a full natural born first of its kind alicorn. I can imagine that either her or her future daughter is our mysterious alicorn. Here me out, this is pure speculation but if we fallow just what we know. - Alicorns are prone to becoming Evil or Their desires - Alicorns Can Live for a really long time -Twi would die with her friends With all this unless cadence is a true immortal like Celestia and Luna, she would die at some point too. Flurry heart would have to face a world out of her control changing, She being the only thing standing still after all this time. She would go mad quickly and what ever possesed luna will come to possess flurry heart and if my assumption is correct she would want control over the uncontrol-able. It wouldnt be far fetched she would try and take over equestria from the crystal empire, this would lead to twi's pupils trying to defeat her but failing against a pure alicorn and in a ditch attempt to stop her they solidfied magic into an object that can only work when all ponies are at peace and if they weren't it would shatter and trapping magic from existing. They basically made sure she can take no one by locking her away without magic and preventing her from ever ruling. This mysterious alicorn can only be in a place which would have been majorly populated by ponies since you can see a regular non alicorn pony behind her which means she has people who would remain loyal... almost like its the crystal empire, also look at the curvature of the horn, same as sombra. Also think about the parallel, if episode 1-4 are about a alicorn who turned that needs to be redeemed... wouldn't the ponies who are facing major change be able to bring her back to her former self just like the first season of g4 mlp did. Alot of reboots and remakes are doing just that, Directors love Call backs and Parallels

I have so much hope for g5, I loved G4 with all my heart, and it was hard to say goodbye to that for me, but I'm glad the franchise as a whole still has fans like you, and I hope that G5 is what the fandom needed to come back to life in a way. I honestly think that sunny did not deserve to be an alicorn,at least not yet. Twilight did so many things to be an alicorn and many sacrifices,while sunny right here just by fixing the misunderstanding between the three spiecies makes her an alicorn right away??? I think the reason sunny isn't a full on alicorn like the others were is because she hasn't fulfilled her destiny yet . She restored balance but if you think about it she hasn't learn a main lesson or solved a magic spell or anything twilight has done. Maybe she will become a full alicorn once she finishes her lesson.

That's true but Laurens original plan for MLP was altered after she left. On top of that, Luna also stated that no Alicorn was born in Equestria. If both sisters were born Alicorns, Celestia should have some knowledge on baby Alicorns. There wouldn't be a reason for her to keep it to herself

Interesting, I would be curious to see what you think about the somewhat more permanent presence of the alicorn features in those who create new magic that helps others. How is it more permanent? Well, when Grogar's bell took away magic from Cozy glow, her horns disappeared, and her wings went back to normal size. Twilight, Luna and Celestia retained the physical appearance of an alicorn, even when the gifts associated with them were taken away (their magic). Can the new alicorn at the end of the make your mark special lose her alicorn form with a similar device? How would that fit into the genetic theory. I know the main question somewhat falls on Flurry heart, but the show may have done this to avoid showing the idea of the baby being attacked.
sunny still doesn't know how to control her alicorn magic, and her wings / horn appear randomly. i think that's why they're transparent, and i think they'll become whole when she learns how to control her magic. twilight was already a unicorn who knew how to use magic. but good theory tho! :)

@@ashleyspitzer6672 It's not a coincidence. There was a tradition in MLP in generations 3 and 4 of reusing certain names and character designs from G1. G1 also had an Applejack and a Spike. G3 had a Rainbow Dash and a Rarity. The generations are not directly related to each other though, they don't take place on the same world. I think the best you might be able to say is they take place in alternate dimensions. G5 is the first direct continuation of a previous generation.

Hey! I think you were wrong at 7:40 somewhere around that moment. I am currently rewatching mlp g4 and saw how twilight grew plants. It is season 7, episode 11, timestamp 19 minutes 25 seconds. Sure she was an alicorn by then, but as you said before, earth ponies didn't have the plant grow powers in g4. So unicorns CAN grow plants with their horns in g4 already!! I really hope you see this comment ^^
if you read the diary of the two sisters, it mentions a school for alicorns and etiquette that each alicorn follows, which shows that a handful of alicorns existed, possible proof of a pre-existing alicorn tribe
I had a similar idea. But mine was, Equestria became a Rogue Planet, it started to move away from its true sun. The Alicorns used magic to create a new Sun and also bound the Moon in magic, the ones that did this focused on developing their range of magic becoming the Unicorns (who kept control of the sun and moon till Celestia and Luna). Of course losing the native Sun and almost the moon caused weather problems, the ones who focused on keeping the weather under control became the Pegasi. Then you had the ones tending to nature and growing food, those became the Earth Ponies. This of course happened so long ago that none of them remembered the native Sun. You get the conditions for the three tribes focusing on just one type of magic, and the other types faded from not being used. The magic changing could also explain how DRAGONS changed. Now Dragons hatch with wings.
I still kinda think that Opaline is a student of Twilight. She would have been told that she was a "princess" because Twilight assumed that all Alicorns were princesses. Twilight was told so by Celestia when she earned her own wings. We know Twilight had students herself at the end of the original series of G4. Opaline would feel she was entitled to being a princess because she *earned* her wings. These other ponies have done nothing to earn their place the way that she did. She worked so hard for so long and earned her wings or horn in a way that no other pony had at that point in time and now she wants to return Equestria to how it always was. To return Alicorns to the throne in their *rightful* place in the order of things.
I always thought that alicorns are result of a sort of enlightenment. if they fully understand there cutie mark to a conceptual level they metamorphosis into an alicorn, twiligh took a short cut by having the magic of all races in her heart (her friendship connections / soul links) and catalyzed it with friendship and magic
Totally on board with this theory! I mentioned the ancient alicorn civilization in a narrative essay I had to write recently for school because it adds a lot to the backstory of my custom characters! And I did actually bring up the the whole alicorn war situation as an explanation for why the alicorn civilization no longer exists! (Plus why my custom characters never got to meet their real parents)

I'd like the idea of alicorns being aliens of some sort, they created the ponies or had some kind of part in their creation, that makes ponies their descendents, thats why they can become alicorns. Must like Jesus, celestia and luna were sent to equestria to protect ponies from their on conflicts, after all, there must always be an Alicorn. So it make sense that at least 1 alicorn could turn bad, like the new villain. Also the comic "The royal sisters" states that Celestia and Luna came from a "land" faar away from Equestria, pretty much confirming their alien status, since they do not are Equestrians.
Only problem I can see here, gen 4 had instances of a unicorn using magic to grow plants, and there was a instance of an earth pony speeding up the growth of a plant, granted it was a flashback in the past, but it was still hinted at

Interesting theory, though you got evolution wrong. The Alicorns would have to had literally altered their genetics to suppress certain genes from expressing, through it seems that it was only temporary or absorbing sufficient magic would unlock the recessive genes.

i think there is a civilization alicorn where all tribes didn't know or discovered about the skyro's where all alicorn lives if there are male alicorns they are rare but the two royal sisters the princesses are shown to be female alicorn but no male so only female alicorn exists.
well, one possibility : if the crystals were her's, maybe equestria stole them. if normal pony magic was failing, they might have needed some other source to prop up their civilization, needing it badly enough that they took it from someone else.

Personally, I don't think she's twilight. I've heard that she might be an Alicorn from the comics. But I'm not 100% convinced on it. It's very likely but still. I just think it'd be more interesting if she was an Alicorn that took the lessons of twilight the wrong way.

There is a theory (this theory is a mix of my theory and sawtooth wave's theory ) so I think this villain alicorn is not the real alicorn I mean she made herself an alicorn by receiving a lot of magic the way cozy glow become an alicorn and from where did she get that much magic ? What I think is that she somehow created a spell to absorb magic from other ponies and creatures just like trek and started taking magic from them slowly - slowly and that's why her hairs are normal and not like selestia or Luna because if she is a true alicorn from all those years ago her hairs should be like selestia and Luna. What if sunny is Twilight's decenent but also what if the one pony that is ends the first episode is actually twilight who fell for the same darkness luna did? For when she knew she was going to the same darkness she separated the magic away in the crystal so no one could use them but also when someone who had the same light and shared the gene with the light to bring back the real twilight who may need to be pulled back by what made her the princess of friendship.

I do belive that was once an alicorn civilatation ( or kingdom as people say) where all alicorns are born but when grogar ruled before he was banished that civilatation was destroy by some evil forse from grogar or the war between alicorns and drequanaquis (discord's kind) leaving only the king and queen's living imortal alicorn daughters : celestia and luna and when equestria was found the ponys of all three tribes found celestia and luna and they thought they were gifted to become alicorns. So I think that this alicorn civilatation no longer exist and when the new alicorn villain said "to take back what was mine" was refering to sunny's alicorn magic to take it and the unity cristals so she can conquer the whole world and the reason she is an alicorn is that she use some dark magic to look like an alicorn but not having the magic of the alicorn (like sunset shimmer but this time she became an alicorn but not having the magic of the alicorn)

I saw a theory like this years ago but now it’s confirmed? I hate how this new logic including opeline wasn’t released till g5 if it had always been there. I thought alicorn were earned not grown in another land? This si so confusing. I appreciate theories like your and taking the time to put this into the clearest understanding for fans.
Interesting, so alicorns from this gen now have the ability to transform when they want and can just revert back to their og born type. And sunny is the first of a whole new gen of alicorns, so that means this villian (which I suspect is radiant hope from the comics) is from the old Equestria. That would explain why she is still alive because of her alicorn form, and that also makes me wonder.. does that mean twilight could still be alive. And could this villian be the reason the magic of friendship was lost for so long, all questions we'll have to see answered in the upcoming series I suppose.
If Twilight Sparkle is still alive then she's probably in hiding

Problem: Luna and Celestia were present for the “no Alicorn has ever been born before” line. They were not originally Alicorns according to this line (that I believe was literally delivered by one of them themselves).

Also in the comics they talk about a queen alicorn named queen parabola that existed even before equestria was founded by the sisters. (Also has zebra stripes which could mean she is a zebra alicorn too)

As usual those are some pretty good theories! it would indeed be interesting if an Alicorn civilization did and or does exist, however one of the biggest things to wonder about such a civilization is if all of the Alicorns in it are all female or if there were male Alicorns in it as well? but either way i'm sure that's a topic you'll cover when the time comes.

What if the Alicorns just had a select few they gave their magic too. It's been stated that the magic can NOT just disappear. So Luna and Celestia became basically immortal because of a crazy amount of magic

So, technically Luna and Celestia are winged unicorns. (Cadence and cozy, are horned pegasi.)
In original mlp as faust wrote them, Luna and Celestia were not born alicprns since they are winged unicorns. That would mean they ascended like twilight. Until tirek was present there were no alicorns.
The only "true" alicorns would be flurry heart, and perhaps this unknown alicorn. -- but Sunny would count.
However:
Flurry came from a pegacorn and unicorn.
Twi, tia, and luna were all unicorns.
So... the only options are unknown alicorn. And sunny (sunny can use all three but doesnt have physical wings and horn?).

I have a theory about how this whole shabang happens... What if this all started because of Flurry heart. Flurry heart should be a true immortal like celestia and luna even though they shouldn't be but they have lived 1000 years anyways. It has been said that twi is not immortal, This included princess cadence... Maybe a alicorn lives as long as they are needed or deemed and since Celestia and Luna were needed to keep the balance they lived forever... but what about flurry heart she was a full natural born first of its kind alicorn. I can imagine that either her or her future daughter is our mysterious alicorn.
Here me out, this is pure speculation but if we fallow just what we know.
- Alicorns are prone to becoming Evil or Their desires
- Alicorns Can Live for a really long time
-Twi would die with her friends
With all this unless cadence is a true immortal like Celestia and Luna, she would die at some point too. Flurry heart would have to face a world out of her control changing, She being the only thing standing still after all this time. She would go mad quickly and what ever possesed luna will come to possess flurry heart and if my assumption is correct she would want control over the uncontrol-able. It wouldnt be far fetched she would try and take over equestria from the crystal empire, this would lead to twi's pupils trying to defeat her but failing against a pure alicorn and in a ditch attempt to stop her they solidfied magic into an object that can only work when all ponies are at peace and if they weren't it would shatter and trapping magic from existing. They basically made sure she can take no one by locking her away without magic and preventing her from ever ruling.
This mysterious alicorn can only be in a place which would have been majorly populated by ponies since you can see a regular non alicorn pony behind her which means she has people who would remain loyal... almost like its the crystal empire, also look at the curvature of the horn, same as sombra. Also think about the parallel, if episode 1-4 are about a alicorn who turned that needs to be redeemed... wouldn't the ponies who are facing major change be able to bring her back to her former self just like the first season of g4 mlp did. Alot of reboots and remakes are doing just that, Directors love Call backs and Parallels
The funny thing is with Izzy carrying that truck no problem if twilight was still around she would be considered a magical prodigy.

I think the reason sunny isn't a full on alicorn like the others were is because she hasn't fulfilled her destiny yet . She restored balance but if you think about it she hasn't learn a main lesson or solved a magic spell or anything twilight has done. Maybe she will become a full alicorn once she finishes her lesson.

That's true but Laurens original plan for MLP was altered after she left. On top of that, Luna also stated that no Alicorn was born in Equestria. If both sisters were born Alicorns, Celestia should have some knowledge on baby Alicorns. There wouldn't be a reason for her to keep it to herself

Interesting, I would be curious to see what you think about the somewhat more permanent presence of the alicorn features in those who create new magic that helps others. How is it more permanent? Well, when Grogar's bell took away magic from Cozy glow, her horns disappeared, and her wings went back to normal size. Twilight, Luna and Celestia retained the physical appearance of an alicorn, even when the gifts associated with them were taken away (their magic). Can the new alicorn at the end of the make your mark special lose her alicorn form with a similar device? How would that fit into the genetic theory. I know the main question somewhat falls on Flurry heart, but the show may have done this to avoid showing the idea of the baby being attacked.
sunny still doesn't know how to control her alicorn magic, and her wings / horn appear randomly. i think that's why they're transparent, and i think they'll become whole when she learns how to control her magic. twilight was already a unicorn who knew how to use magic. but good theory tho! :)

@@ashleyspitzer6672 It's not a coincidence. There was a tradition in MLP in generations 3 and 4 of reusing certain names and character designs from G1. G1 also had an Applejack and a Spike. G3 had a Rainbow Dash and a Rarity. The generations are not directly related to each other though, they don't take place on the same world. I think the best you might be able to say is they take place in alternate dimensions. G5 is the first direct continuation of a previous generation.
It would be really interesting if this alicorn just had plans to rule equestria and used the power of Friendship to her advantage… she could even befriend Queen Haven to make royal alliances

Hey! I think you were wrong at 7:40 somewhere around that moment. I am currently rewatching mlp g4 and saw how twilight grew plants. It is season 7, episode 11, timestamp 19 minutes 25 seconds. Sure she was an alicorn by then, but as you said before, earth ponies didn't have the plant grow powers in g4. So unicorns CAN grow plants with their horns in g4 already!! I really hope you see this comment ^^
if you read the diary of the two sisters, it mentions a school for alicorns and etiquette that each alicorn follows, which shows that a handful of alicorns existed, possible proof of a pre-existing alicorn tribe

I had a similar idea. But mine was, Equestria became a Rogue Planet, it started to move away from its true sun. The Alicorns used magic to create a new Sun and also bound the Moon in magic, the ones that did this focused on developing their range of magic becoming the Unicorns (who kept control of the sun and moon till Celestia and Luna). Of course losing the native Sun and almost the moon caused weather problems, the ones who focused on keeping the weather under control became the Pegasi. Then you had the ones tending to nature and growing food, those became the Earth Ponies. This of course happened so long ago that none of them remembered the native Sun.
You get the conditions for the three tribes focusing on just one type of magic, and the other types faded from not being used.
The magic changing could also explain how DRAGONS changed. Now Dragons hatch with wings.
I still kinda think that Opaline is a student of Twilight. She would have been told that she was a "princess" because Twilight assumed that all Alicorns were princesses. Twilight was told so by Celestia when she earned her own wings. We know Twilight had students herself at the end of the original series of G4. Opaline would feel she was entitled to being a princess because she *earned* her wings. These other ponies have done nothing to earn their place the way that she did. She worked so hard for so long and earned her wings or horn in a way that no other pony had at that point in time and now she wants to return Equestria to how it always was. To return Alicorns to the throne in their *rightful* place in the order of things.
I always thought that alicorns are result of a sort of enlightenment. if they fully understand there cutie mark to a conceptual level they metamorphosis into an alicorn, twiligh took a short cut by having the magic of all races in her heart (her friendship connections / soul links) and catalyzed it with friendship and magic
Totally on board with this theory! I mentioned the ancient alicorn civilization in a narrative essay I had to write recently for school because it adds a lot to the backstory of my custom characters! And I did actually bring up the the whole alicorn war situation as an explanation for why the alicorn civilization no longer exists! (Plus why my custom characters never got to meet their real parents)

I'd like the idea of alicorns being aliens of some sort, they created the ponies or had some kind of part in their creation, that makes ponies their descendents, thats why they can become alicorns. Must like Jesus, celestia and luna were sent to equestria to protect ponies from their on conflicts, after all, there must always be an Alicorn. So it make sense that at least 1 alicorn could turn bad, like the new villain.
Also the comic "The royal sisters" states that Celestia and Luna came from a "land" faar away from Equestria, pretty much confirming their alien status, since they do not are Equestrians.
Only problem I can see here, gen 4 had instances of a unicorn using magic to grow plants, and there was a instance of an earth pony speeding up the growth of a plant, granted it was a flashback in the past, but it was still hinted at

Interesting theory, though you got evolution wrong. The Alicorns would have to had literally altered their genetics to suppress certain genes from expressing, through it seems that it was only temporary or absorbing sufficient magic would unlock the recessive genes.
My theoy is that this new allicorn is actually Sunny's mother that has turned evil or mean due to maybe her being next in line to the throne but maybe the other tribes didnt respect her maybe that made her mad n leave she went to maretime bay n lived at the light house thinking about a way to get revenge she then maybe abandoned her daughter Sunny n Sunnys dad n went to a secret place with her followers from there she might have seperated the magic into 3 crystals n told some of her followers to cause problems in each tribe making the 3 pony tribes blame eachother for things n fight when the 3 tribes seperated after the fight each tribe lost there magic all together, this new alicorn "Sunnys mother" decided to hide the crystal with trusting ponys of each tribe that was her friends or family or followers that being why Sunny n her dad had the earth pony crystal, queen haven had the pegasis crystal n was put in charge of the throne for the pegasis cuzz of her bending the truth n lieing by making out they are royals that can still fly so they can keep them all safe making her rule there that would explain why she never took of the crown crystal she carryed, n then the unicorn crystal was in the hands of some pony who collects crystals before he lost it to that bar pony so maybe he was a follower that would then mean that Sunnys mother "this new alicorn" would have gave 1 crystal to a unicorn follower, 1 crystal to a family memeber that veing her husband n daughter, n 1 crystal to a friend being queen haven - untill the right time she was setting her plan into motion gaining more loyal followers in secret n now she is fully turned evil with no good left in her n with magic back n the 3 tribes together again she wants all the power back to controlle everyone, after all the earth pony clearly failed to keep the crystal since he lost it to the bar pony, queen haven has started to like her being the queen n ruling the pegasis since she has 2 daughters now n stuff so she has turned good, n sunnys father died but he raised sunny from a baby n taught her everything good n about friendship n hid the earth pony crystal in the lamp hoping that it will help his daughter one day after how Sunnys mother turned out maybe Sunnys dad realized she would return ome day after all we dont even no how Sunnys dad even died also Sunny has alicorn blood in her after all she is a temporary Alicorn n she brought magic back, there lighthouse even had a place holder for the 3 crystals so yer i really do think that this new Alicorn should be or could be Sunnys mother ( sunnys mother being an alicorn who was maybe an accestor or something to one of the princess from gen 4 n he dating n telling Sunnys dad all about the ponys stuff n from there he did stuff n found places maybe he even went to ponyville n all that since he had a map of equrestira as well as had stuff about star swirl n other stuff too, Sunnys mother has got to be an Alicorn n her Dad knew so much about Gen 4 timeline as well he even knew that princess celestia summoned twilight n told her to learn about the magic of friendship as he was telling Sunny the story in the movie ) the new Alicorn is Sunnys mother it makes alot of sence for it to be n it be a huge plot twist a full 180 unexpected plot twist if they go with the new alicorn being Sunnys mother n it would be such a intresting comfrontation between her n Sunny after a while like a dath vader telling Luke he was his father moment... i think there is a civilization alicorn where all tribes didn't know or discovered about the skyro's where all alicorn lives if there are male alicorns they are rare but the two royal sisters the princesses are shown to be female alicorn but no male so only female alicorn exists.
well, one possibility : if the crystals were her's, maybe equestria stole them. if normal pony magic was failing, they might have needed some other source to prop up their civilization, needing it badly enough that they took it from someone else.

C. she could possibly be cozy glows child. the hair, the evil past, we never saw cozyglows past. there’s so many theories, and i’m so excited to see what it is. Personally, I don't think she's twilight. I've heard that she might be an Alicorn from the comics. But I'm not 100% convinced on it. It's very likely but still. I just think it'd be more interesting if she was an Alicorn that took the lessons of twilight the wrong way.

There is a theory (this theory is a mix of my theory and sawtooth wave's theory ) so I think this villain alicorn is not the real alicorn I mean she made herself an alicorn by receiving a lot of magic the way cozy glow become an alicorn and from where did she get that much magic ? What I think is that she somehow created a spell to absorb magic from other ponies and creatures just like trek and started taking magic from them slowly - slowly and that's why her hairs are normal and not like selestia or Luna because if she is a true alicorn from all those years ago her hairs should be like selestia and Luna. What if sunny is Twilight's decenent but also what if the one pony that is ends the first episode is actually twilight who fell for the same darkness luna did? For when she knew she was going to the same darkness she separated the magic away in the crystal so no one could use them but also when someone who had the same light and shared the gene with the light to bring back the real twilight who may need to be pulled back by what made her the princess of friendship.

My idea is: this could been twilight or one of the other with wings. So flutter, rainbow dash, and twilight. Think one more but can’t remember. Only ones I can think of is glimmer, pinky pie, apple jack. There spike too but he got wing but he dragon. Many think glimmer and spike no part of mane 6 to 8 but there are. Alright back to ideas. Think some point in the series sunny and her friends might meet up with gen 4 pony. Even look there a new derpy here.

to understand more the story plot of the last film "make your mark" ( especially at the end) you need to read the comics...wich not everyone do so yeah ...and also in that special we don't see discord and the ponys are supposed to have seen them so this may be BEFORE the comics AND before de new G5 animated series ...... yeah pretty confusing if you are not reading comics ... also a do think that this special was really rushed compared to the movie of even the animated series ê_e that's my felling ....

I do belive that was once an alicorn civilatation ( or kingdom as people say) where all alicorns are born but when grogar ruled before he was banished that civilatation was destroy by some evil forse from grogar or the war between alicorns and drequanaquis (discord's kind) leaving only the king and queen's living imortal alicorn daughters : celestia and luna and when equestria was found the ponys of all three tribes found celestia and luna and they thought they were gifted to become alicorns. And if you see at the scene in the ending of mlp make your mark standing besides the new evil alicorn is an unnamed unicorn . So I think that this alicorn civilatation no longer exist and when the new alicorn villain said "to take back what was mine" was refering to sunny's alicorn magic to take it and the unity cristals so she can conquer the whole world and the reason she is an alicorn is that she use some dark magic to look like an alicorn but not having the magic of the alicorn (like sunset shimmer but this time she became an alicorn but not having the magic of the alicorn)
and a theory since scootaloo cant fly maybe because cause her parents are a peagus and earth pony but cant fly cause one of her parents is an earth pony but if rarity and sweetiebell are able to use magic that must mean they are adopted
