Pawniard, Ferroseed, and Mienfoo really makes this look like a legit Little Cup team. I sometimes forget just how many iconic mons got released in Gen 5.
Snorlax, Gliscor, Bronzong, Machamp, Toxicroak and Abomasnow: Why dont you play with the neighbors kid The neighbors kid: Pawniard, Ferroseed, Mienfoo, Vullaby, Timburr, Drilbur, Tirtouga and Scraggy
ok are we actually going to call the most power crept, unimaginative and restrictive generation's mons iconic ? you don't play those mons not because you like them. you play them cuz u have no other choice
Flygon HG: "We take a huge chunk of damage." **only takes a quarter of his full HP Pokemon** Freezai: "We didn't took too much damage." **literally a hit away from dying Pokemon**
I love that the legendary pokemon who got brought back from a primordial slumber by the chosen one ends up being beaten by a statue and a pawn, and is then powerless as a baby dragon superboosts and destroys him and his master's entire team.
Sometimes it's the most consistent method. When you only need 1 to survive, having a strat where you can guarantee that ONLY 5 of them die instead of risking losing all 6, you take that strat!
17:39 pre poisoning your mon to 4 hp to make sure it dies after setting up hail and can't survive due to paralysis is some straight up villainous behavior and I love It
this man can beat a littlelocke with less deaths than I can on a regular hc nuzlocke. I don't even know what the hell he does for the random trainers but it must be some insane shit to avoid deaths
28:30 "With exactly one pokemon left, we've survived the Pokemon Black Littlelocke. With exactly one pokemon left, we've survived the Pokemon Black Littlelocke."
**Uses a convoluted strategy to outspeed Watchog and avoid Retaliate** "Watchog used Leer!" Also congrats on the 100.000 subs! honoured to be the 100.001 lmao
I feel like that’s so many bw nuzlockes, you have to play around Retaliate very carefully bc it ohkos so much, but then Lenora just doesnt use it a lot of the time.
Must give a real *GG*, first time I see a littlelocke with such a low leveling upscale, plus you didn't go brain dead and instead had a plan for every battles, which makes it way more enjoyable to watch in a 30ish vid
Imagine you are the 8-th gym leader, one of the strongest trainers in the region, weaker only than the elite four and the champion. A ten year old approaches you, you accept his challenge, as you are obliged to, thinking that it will be a walk in the park. He sends in a baby pokemon with a sliver of hp and already poisoned, - poor boy - you think - he doesn't even know that most basic things about battles, you should evolve your pokemons and always bring your pokemons fully healed. The first pokemon just uses thunder wave - a mild annoyance and faints. The second baby uses hail, again a mild annoyance than faints. Then a baby ice bear appears, no problem you think I just outspeed it and OHKO it... but wait a second my pokemon is paralyzed and the slush rush ability makes he very fast. The hail makes the blizzard infallible and slowly chips down on your pokemons... you quickly realize that there is no way out... the fight is over in an instant and you lose. This boy is the future champion!
"I want you to guess my starter" after already showing tepig in the first minute on his team would've been an insane play if he actually used oshawott and faked the first minute of gameplay or took it from someone else
Once again, this is done incredibly well. This would be 200 IQ for the plays alone, but this goes to 300 for how well it's explained. Also congrats for 100K boss!
The "only catching the first pokemon on a given route" clause always feels too tedious to keep track of for me to want to start nuzlocking. But if i were to do so, i always felt like "cant overlevel gym leader's weakest pokemon" feels like a more engaging ruleset, and i wonder why thats not a more standardized alternative way to play.
I can't wait to see pchal reacting this is HC nuzlocke is the most genius and best play I ever seen despite being one the most difficult pokémon games to nuzlocke
I remember when Pokemonchallenges put Sticky Barb near the bottom of his nuzlocke items tierlist, and it always seemed like a pretty niche but useful item. Glad to see Freezai is here to make the sticky barb work in every run. The Platinum Littlelocke brought me back to nuzlocking, and seeing the sticky barb strats in that video was a huge part of me regaining interest in nuzlockes. It reminded me that one of the beauties of nuzlockes is using everything at your disposal under the constraints of your rules, and that presents opportunities for commonly irrelevant moves and items to be a sufficient solution. Great run as Freezai nuzlockes always are. In this case, using a dig turn to invalidate the retaliate boost was cool. I also liked the pre-damage strat to force Dragon Tail, enabling a KO from an inevitably slower mon. And this run had probably the most convoluted tailwind maneuver of all time, especially when the strategy necessitated 3 of the 4 tailwind turns from being used before it was even relevant.
Your nuzlockes are the best of any creator I’ve seen on UA-cam, you should do more. Everyone else just does basic strategies ie setup 3 calm minds and sweep so I love the inventiveness of your videos
Gj dude you are actually cracked! I have a suggestion for you because maybe you are the one: There is a challenge run that Pokemon Challenges attempted but gave up on: Halfcap Plat Nuzlocke. Its a normal Nuzlocke except your level cap is half the Gym Leaders Cap and you can use any Item in battle. Switch Mode. If a wild Pokemon is above the cap you may reroll. So I am bringing this up because I know you know each other and he will probably pay attention to that.
I wish games looked like gen 5 again. The sprites are so lively and beautiful! Also at gym 2 it was funny how you made a strat to avoid Retaliate but the Watchog used Leer the first time xD
Part of me wants to imagine that this is a cannon timeline of the pokemon black storyline. This crazy trainer uses only the cutest and strongest pokemon, facing off with an evil cult and refusing to partake in it's destined clash between it's gods of yin and yang. Instead, a grueling battle takes place for hours until the legendary is no more, and a tiny axew sweeps the prince's team. It's kinda beautiful, in a way.
Thank you Freezai! I love your videos and pokemon content in general, but everyone is posting about scarlet and violet and since where I live it's not out yet and I hate spoilers with a passion I'm stuck having to wait with nothing to watch. Your upload made the wait a lot more bearable, super nice timing!
happy mf 100k freezydude you single handedly got me back into pokémon after a decade long hiatus and i don’t think ill leave. your videos are so very unique and appealing for someone like me and i think many others as well. i see a bright future for this channel
Honestly, I love this littlelocke idea. Might try one myself someday, as I generally enjoy the idea of banning evolutions in Pokémon challenges. Really forces you to come up with some good strategies for the various fights.
I love the littlelocke content, and I'm glad that you've been continuing to do it despite the fact that it doesn't tend to get a particularly large number of views. Congrats on the 100k :)
Pawniard, Ferroseed, and Mienfoo really makes this look like a legit Little Cup team. I sometimes forget just how many iconic mons got released in Gen 5.
I was thinking the same thing
Vullaby too

The neighbors kid: Pawniard, Ferroseed, Mienfoo, Vullaby, Timburr, Drilbur, Tirtouga and Scraggy
Yeah the fake out u-turn play from mienfoo gave me major flashbacks

Baby dragon fused with Time Wizard.
Yeah, legendaries getting beat by unevolved Pokemon is pretty funny.
Zekrom a setup fodder for a littlelock team. Now I know I've seen everything.
Also that Pawniard sac was !!
Not just his master, but his chosen hero as the savior of humanity!
Sitcky barb showing up at the very end was like Gandalf coming back in Lord of the Rings
I'm starting to think defeating the last fight "with only 1 Pokemon left" is intentionally planned for dramatic effect.
almost certainly yeah, but it’s also just easier that way
As soon as you figure out a viable win, no need to plan anything more complicated.
Sometimes it's the most consistent method. When you only need 1 to survive, having a strat where you can guarantee that ONLY 5 of them die instead of risking losing all 6, you take that strat!

Definitely some of the best Nuzlocke content. Only PokemonChallenges comes close to planning this damn hard. It's very fun to watch
These videos are always so great. I love how positive you are when you say “Pokémon is ready to die”
Can't wait to see the B2/W2 run of the Littlelocke series.
