How To Sew An Easy Baby Bib
Вставка

- I was asked by my Uncle to make some baby bibs for a friend of his that's having a baby. Of course I said yes!! His only request was that it had to be Chicago Cubs fabric. Not a problem. So today I will show you how to make these easy baby bibs. This is my go-to pattern when I make bibs for people because they are so simple to make and really fast also. I made 6 of these in about 30 minutes!! Perfect for a last minute baby shower gift! I hope you give these a try and thanks for watching!!

Thank you! This is the best bib tutorial yet that I’ve watched on UA-cam
Great job here and on the self binding baby blanket. And Thank you, thank you, thank you for not playing music while you worked!
Thk u so much for going into detail on how not only to make a bib but how to use the pliers. I bought alot of sewing stuff and material from a family that loss their mother. She was the one who sewed. I think I got the pliers and attachments in some of the stuff I've bought either from them or other yard sales. I have to look. My problem with learning the right way to sew is reading patterns. I have some I bought also at yard sales and I'm not good at them bc I'm not good at measuring except basic measurements. I loss the only 2 who I was around that started to teach me. What I've made so far, ive guessed and I actually sold. I made summer baby blankets with matching mini pillows, wash cloth pillows, & animal print pillows (in several sizes and shapes). I could have made more money but I mainly did it for fun, to see if I could sell them & I had plenty of time while at home with my babies. Believe it or not, but old men was my biggest customers on the animal print pillows. I even had some put in orders so they could fill both their summer lake homes, regular homes & for gifts. Now looking back I could have made more money if I wanted to. That was fun learning time while my 2 kids were small.
I just made 10 of these with terry cloth and flannel for a friend’s baby shower. Thanks for the tute!
You're welcome!
Thank you for this tutorial, I've got eight ready to trace, pin and sew. Great directions, thank you again! 💚

Really nice! Thanks for the pattern, I’ll make some for my grand baby.*
Thanks for the video. I like the way you made the bib without cutting the big on the fold. Made it look very easy. Will watch again before I make my first bib.

You are welcome! Thanks for the nice feed back!
Scrappy, you did a fine job. I'm really enjoying your tutorials. You're very thorough and that gives me confidence that I can do it too. I'd also love to know more about you, like how and when did you get into sewing? What kind of machine do you have? What are your future You Tube plans? When you say, "pretty side of the fabric" you remind me of the Crafty Gemini. Lol.
Thank you so much. the easiest pattern for me copy and do..can't wait.
You saved my life ❤🎉 best bib vid out there!
Wonderful tutorial. I am going to get some fabric today to make. Thank you for sharing!!!

Scrappy, thanks for a clear and concise tutorial and the pattern too! I just recently discovered you. It's been awhile since you posted anything. Hope all is well.
Thank you very much for sharing your bib template.
You’re welcome 😊
great job love them
I need to get those snap pliers - they look so easy to use!
They are SO easy. Well worth the price
You’ll love it
I absolutely adore your videos!!!
Nice! I'm wondering now whether this pattern would scale up for an adult. And having had that thought, I wonder whether some kind of pockets or fidget items might go on the bib to keep either a hand crafter's tools handy (needles, thread, thimble, pincushion...make it a real working bib!) or perhaps add some fidget items for a senior who likes to have something to do with their hands. Like, maybe add a fun zipper dangling, or some beads on a string, or even a picture in a vinyl holder.
Awesome video❤️So glad I found your channel😁
Nice video - sharing to Pinterest - Greetings from England :)
Thanks for sharing!!
How can I get your pattern. Love your video’s. I just finished my self binding baby blanket from watching your video. Excellent. Thank you.
Thanks for a clear, step by step tutorial. I am just beginning to sew and this is great!
Glad I could help!
Those are really cute! Thanks!
First I would like to say thank you for the pattern. When printing the pattern do you check fit to page? If you could give me the dimensions that would be great. Your video was great. You are very detailed.
yes just print to page. I used standard 8 x 11 printer paper
I enjoyed your video! Great step-by-step instructions. I am unable to download your pattern. Any pointers?
I live your videos thank you
Nice , thank you
Love this,great tips!
Glad it was helpful!
Great pattern!
Hey, any ideas for Mother's Day gifts?
Your timing is great, I have a Great Grandson that would love these made using dinosour fabric. Thanks, Scrappy! I have the pattern printed and ready to go, do you do any cross hatching to keep the batting or flannel from shifting? Thanks again.
I don't do any cross hatching when I use flannel but I would if I used batting! The flannel doesn't seem to move around like the batting does.
Thanks I think i'll do the flannel then.
I just made your bib, and it came out awesome. What is the baby size for the bib?
When I make them for my uncle, I believe the baby was 2-3 months before she really fit into it! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you!!
Got it!!
OH yes, I'm waiting on my snap pliers to arrive.
Love this video. But can't print the template says the file is corrupt 🤔
Can you please show how to make an eyeglass pouch?
I can in an up coming video! Thanks for watching
I can't get the link to work for the baby bib pattern. Is there another link?
Hello - is the template still available? I click on the link and see two files but neither of them will open. Thank you!
hi. where is the pattern? thank you.
Love your idea but can’t get your 😊pattern
Ineed to make a bib for my elderly brother do you have a tutorial for one.
No I don't. Sorry but you can enlarge this pattern to fit an adult. I would measure the persons neck and size it up using that measurement. I have seen people make adult bibs from old button up shirts, just keep the front panel of the shirt and the neck attached and then just hem the raw edges.
How do I find your bib to download? Thanks 😊
Do I have to sign up for an Adobe account? Thanks.

I am struggling to go around those corners.... ugg hope it gets better
Go nice and slow around them and don't be afraid to lift your pressure foot and spin the project a little bit with the needle down.
@@ScrappyPatch thank u! And I learned not to sew when tired
Measurement???
11 x 14 inches is the measurement I used for the rectangles of fabric.
