I'm a beginner and like to practice with easy projects, as it builds confidence and excitement about progressing to more challenging projects. when the previous one went well. One recommendation I would make is to use a dark thread so that it is more visible. I found it challenging to see the stitching. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us.
Thank you for showing a notice how to make these bibs. I love your video. very clear communication and the step by step guide is so easy to follow. Nice!!
Cute bibs have no clue on how to use a sew machine but gotta learn to make a few bibs for my special needs son this drooling is just too much thank u so much
Santi- this is a great beginners project and will be really great for the drooling. Get a basic domestic sewing machine and play with it to become more comfortable with it. You’ll be sewing those bibs in no time. 😊
I loved the fact that you made couple of mistakes lol not only did it crack me up but made me feel ok cuz I’m a bigener and I’ve made so many to many mistakes I wanted to give up but you made it ok lol thank you
Hi Stephanie- I get my fabrics from a lot of different places. I usually buy from Missouri Star Quilt Company online, my local quilt store or Joanns. These fabrics came from Joanns. I find that they have a great selection of flannel prints and they are super cute! ❤️
The Crafty Author I realized later when I went over the tutorial again you did say the size. One of my three rescue cats was helping me watch the video. Now, if she only had thumbs. 🙃
Missy DeClercq I purchased this ruler years ago, so it is possible that they no longer make it. I’m not sure why they would stop making it, but it appears that it is no longer available. I saw some 12” triangle rulers on Walmart and also on another site, but it looks like they don’t have them in stock. This is the closest that I could find to what I have. Hi Yvonne- I use Kamsnaps on my bibs. If I were going to use Velcro, I would use the sew on Velcro that you can purchase at Walmart, Joann’s or Hobby Lobby. 😊
Hi Sandy- Using an overlocking stitch or serger makes a clean edge on garments, bags or like in this case, a baby bib. You can use a straight stitch, but using the overlocking stitch or serger gives it a more professional, finished look. 😊
Hit on your tut and realized that I had recently purchased the same bib! Thanks for showing me how to do it myself. Will save me $9,00 in the future.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets snaps on backwards! LOL It's a cute bib and easy to make! Thanks for posting!
🤣🤣 I do it just about every time! Lol. I really have to pay attention to that part. I’m glad I’m not alone in this. The struggle is real! Ha!
Chopstick corner poker - brilliant idea! 😆👍🏻
I love these projects. They are quick and easy. I'm not good with snaps either. I don't have that fancy snap tool, I just have the pliers type.
This is a must try sis. Would be learning from you. God bless you.
+Nana Bemah's Hub - Thank you 😊 God bless you too ❤️

Thank you Anisa. I enjoyed the video. It came at a great time. I have two grandbabies coming in April.
Congratulations, Alice! ❤️
Lol ill give you credit for having mistake it happens to me all the time even after 35 yrs of sewing🤩🤩
Hi. What kind of top stitch was that? It made it look very neat and professional.
Thank you. I use just a regular straight stitch with a length of 3.0.
Is that a 12 by 12 and 12 across cuz when I Mark that it looks too small for the neck
I'm gonna try and sew on Velcro for a closure.
I love this! You make it look so easy. I'm going to attempt for my 5mo! If you don't have the button puncher, can they be applied another way?
Hi Jocelyn- Thank you 😊 Yes, you can use Velcro instead of the snaps. 😊
that's a 12"x12" for a baby perhaps toddler. What size would you use for a 10 yr old??
What is the measurement of material after cutting it ? Please let me know as I can't find any 12 x 12 in triangle like yours .
Thank you for this video. With a new grandchild on the way, I think I may try to make some of these.
Congratulations on your new Grandbaby! ❤️
Great Direction makes Perfection!
♥️ this vid. for bibs!💕🌱💕
Thank you, Bertha! 😊
Good video.
I am wondering what size of stitch you used on the sewing machine and how far away from the edge you sewed?
I used a 2.5 stitch and sewed 1/8” to close the top and 1/4” everywhere else. 😊
I really like ke the stitch that you used for topstitch.
Thank you! ❤️
Is the triangle 12x12x12. It seems small?
great video .thank you.
Hi what age is the bib for, I can’t wait to make it x
6-12 months.
Can you use cotton fabrics?
Hi Linda- Yes. You absolutely can use cotton fabric. I have used cotton, flannel and terry cloth with no issues.
@@TheCraftyAuthor thank you
The top of the bandana how wide is that it looks more than 12 in
Thank you I love it
Where can I get the triangle ruler?
Lovely bib - the fabric may be upside down but not for the baby when he/she looks down haha
Hahaha! This is true! :)
What size is the triangle ruler
Can I ask where you get your fabrics from?

What size is your triangle ruler? I’d like to buy one that size.
Hi Missy- My triangle is 12 x 12 😊

@@TheCraftyAuthor the 12 x 12 triangle ruler does not exist. I don't know why I am having so much trouble.

Love it 💕Teresa Stacey 🇦🇺
New to your channel where did you get the trays behind you for the thread
Vesta- Welcome! I got those trays from a quilt store that was going out of business a few years ago. 😊
so cute!!!!!
I can not locate a ruler like yours. I must be searching the wrong keyword. Can you help?
Hi Missy- I purchased that ruler many years ago but I do believe it is called a strip ruler. 😊
Where did you get your snap tool?
Hi Rowena- I purchased my Snap Press from kamsnaps.com/collections/kam-snap-fastener-press-machine-dies. I love mine!
Why do you use an overlock or serger?
Hi Sandy- Using an overlocking stitch or serger makes a clean edge on garments, bags or like in this case, a baby bib. You can use a straight stitch, but using the overlocking stitch or serger gives it a more professional, finished look. 😊
Thank you.
Hello where can I get the snap thing? Sorry don't know what it is called. Thank you
I purchased my die press from Kamsnaps.com. Here is that link: kamsnaps.com/products/kam-snap-press-fastener-grommet-rivet?_pos=5&_sid=33b1ee9a5&_ss=r
I watched this video only to find out what size to cut the fabric - but no size details given :(
Sizing details are below in the description box. I cut my bandana bibs with my 12”x12” triangle ruler. I hope that helps.
After the second cut I saw the pandas were upside down. With me the cussing would have been unfortunate and loud.
LOL! :)
