    I really like to see a bib that has binding along the edges because it looks so much neater and finished. Thank you for making this video!

    Thank you for showing bibs with bias tape and how to properly put this on the bib. It gives additional decorations and finished those raw edges. Awesome.

    This IS a cute bib! From the frog print on the flannel fabric to the green gingham bias binding was just a perfect look. As much as I liked the multi-colored pastels in the rickrack, I'd save it for a bib that didn't have binding . I'd sew around all the edges of the bib leaving an opening for turning it right side out and then just sew the rickrack around the edges of the bib. Of course, using both of them is cute, it's just that I adore gingham fabric and that pretty rickrack can be a star on its own.
    Really appreciated all your detailed instructions on how to draw the pattern out and the practical tip on using a manila folder as a template to trace. This is a great practical and fun project for any sewist to make. Whether you have a baby shower to go to, are a soon-to-be grandmother or aunt, or just have a neighbor in one of these situations, it's such a thoughtful gift to give. What new mother wouldn't appreciate having a wardrobe of cute bibs for their baby? Thanks for showing us how.

    Loved you video, I used opaque chopping mats from Dollar Tree they are 2 on a package for a dollar. I love them for my permanent patterns I can mark special lines on it and I can lay it on my fabric to "fussy Cut" a special pattern. I have 2 already made but did not have one this size thank you for making this video, I love your way of teaching

    I love your videos. (I am a female.) Thank you for doing this baby bib tutorial. I embroider on bibs, so this allows me to create a blank if I choose to. Very easy to create. Your teaching style and creativity are superb. Thx again!!

    Thank you for the pattern for the bib not everyone can print patterns thank you for explaining it simple terms x. Could you tell me wha age this bib would fit plz then can adjust thanks

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  Рік тому

      Hi Carol. This bib will an older baby. You can always cut the width and length smaller or larger. You can also cut the neck bigger or smaller. If you have an old bib that fits your baby, you can place it over a drawing of this pattern. Then you will know if you need to make adjustments. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍

    Hi My name is Dolores I have been watching your videos for a while love the way you teach, I too have a disability with my right hand, still Sewing it’s been a year now, I find it to be great therapy. We should talk. 😊

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  6 років тому +3

      Hi Dolores. It's nice to meet a fellow lefty. I was in physical therapy for a year. My walking came back faster than the use of my right hand. It is very challenging every day. My husband is my rock. He does so much for me, and I am lucky to have him. My sewing room is my escape, and I am in there 7 days a week for at least 4 to 6 hours. You hang in there, and happy sewing.

    Hi Sherrill! I was wondering, can I fold my paper in half to mark the neck part of the pattern and then cut on the fold? Wouldn't that be a bit easier? Thank You for all your wonderful videos !!

      Hi Brenda. Great question. It would be too big for a new born baby, but make the pattern a little smaller. Happy sewing.
