  • One minor problem we ran into while trying to get front and rear stands for the 2013 BMW S1000RR was the front brake fluid distribution block is directly under the steering stem making it impossible to put a front stand on the bike without changing the front brake lines. One way to work around this is the amazing Bursig Stand. The stand lifts from two points along the center line of the frame and lifts the whole bike from the ground. This allows both wheels to be removed from the bike or the bike to be wheeled around wherever it is with ease.
We got our stand from MaxMoto:

Thank-you. Couldn’t figure out what locked bike to stand. Fortunately mine came with gravity also. Works great. 2018 has motor bolts on each side, so you just take out left side.

Once its in place the two pins (which are about 2-3in) support the weight of the bike and gravity forces the bike to stay on the stand. With all the weight of the bike on the pins and the weight centered on the stand the bike will not come off. Thanks for watching!

I would have put kick stand down moving and removing stand just incase you drop it kick stand will catch.

+Andrew Worley The kickstand interferes with the frame of the Bursig stand. You can't get the stand on the bike with it out, and can't get it off with it down.

Ah does every bike have the perfect holes for the stand to mount?

I looked at the web site, pretty much this is for the smaller bikes. And they do come with adapters for specific bikes only.

      Jesse R Hey Jessie,
If by smaller bikes you mean sport bikes then yes. They don't have them for many cruiser or standard style motorcycles. When you buy the stand you pick your model and they give you the adapter plate for your correct model with it. If you have more than one bike you want to use it on you can buy additional plates. For a cruiser or standard motorcycle a motorcycle specific jack is probably better as there is the surface area on the bottom to use it. Thanks for watching!

Its a Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit but I wouldn't recommend it. The Turn signals that come with it blow out quick and are not that water resistant.
