The Corabi album was definitely the heaviest in Motley Crue's catalog, thanks in no small part t John's gritty voice and whatever Mick did to get that ultra-heavy guitar tone. Too bad that collaboration never went beyond that one album.
I don't understand how anyone can say that this isn't better than anything done with Vince Neil. John can actually sing! Best music and lyrics of any Motley album!
I agree with you, man. I prefer Corabi than Vince. Corabi was a true artist, while Vince was more like a showman. It's a pity that this album was so underrated when it came out. People didn't know what they had. Well, in spite of this, I loved the 1994 record from the very beginning (unlike many other "fans"). I purchased it the very day it came out. In Mexico (my country) was available the same day than in your country. When I bought it, I came back home and I just played it over and over. Since then, it became my favorte album, from all the rock n roll bands, and no record has been better than this one for me.
This was their best album musically by far. Mick Mars even said so himself. If they had just renamed the band because it wasn't motley anymore but it was a great band
This is also my favorite Crue line-up and my favorite album, from all the rock n roll bands. With Vince they were good. When Corabi came, they became the best band in the world. It's a pity they didn't go on with Corabi.
Saw them on this tour along with about 150 others for $7. I'd seen the band before and I was absolutely stunned by how much better they were with Corabi. He added more than just a guitar and vocal, be brought a cohesiveness to the band. Oh well.
Vince is the voice of the band, when they made it. Without him, no Motley. Too fast, Shout, Theatre, Girls and Dr. Feelgood. "Classic" albums with a unique leadsinger voice. The way Neil sings now is still one of a kind, and that doesn't seem to be in the most flattering way. Corabi is no doubt a better musician. Would a second Mötley Cörabi album have been a success? Who knows... The Mötley Crüe album was musically superior to the predecessors. The hits and crowd chants were on the Vince albums. The live clips on UA-cam indicates, that now is a good time to put it to a stop. To end with dignity. No more milk in the tits😊
Some of it is Dropping Like Flyes and other Motley Crue CD songs. It was a great time for the Crue those Corabi years, I saw them in Mexico. Amazing concert, heavy as hell. LONG LIVE THE CRUE!!!!!!!
It bums me out to see how pure and positive everyone seemed in this and then to read in The Dirt about how shitty it eventually got. Even Mick is super energetic in these. Obviously i'll always love the classic 80's albums, but this is one of my favorite of the band, second only too Dr. Feelgood era (which i believe was their best era, both in songwriting and production and live performance.) Forever a Crue fan.
Fuck... Thanks a lot for posting this, it's so fuckin' cool! N.B. Just notice how fuckin' tight Crue sounded during this period. Sound is awesome. N.N.B. Tommy "T-Bone" Lee Fuckin' Rocks! N.N.N.B. John+Mick guitar duet just rules! N.N.N.N.B. Nikki Sixx, man... He Kicks Ass! N.N.N.F.C.K.B. Long Live the Crue!!
Actually if you read "the Dirt", Mick repeatedly says that this was the worst period of his life. He's just messing around in this video because he's always like that, people just don't realize that he's always this way.
i dont remember Duallies being popular in mid 90s LA. i would have thought they were rehearsing down here in TX if I only saw their trucks. Their real life is everyone else's cliché. So badass.
I have nothing aganist Vince, but in my opinion with Corabi singing and playing guitar pretty cool, motley was at their best...that was their best album by far
@w0bbl3r Do you have a copy of that song/version on cd? I have been desperately looking for that for years now... Please let me know! Thanks for the info!!!
ill be honest if john corabi had stayed with moley crue i would have became a huge motley fan this is the best motley album they ever recorded corabi was a waaay better frontman than vince ever was not that i dont like the vince albums i do but i wouldve loved to see this lineup continue on its just sad we only got one album out of them cause this lineup was amazing
I agree especially since what we got after Vince came back wasn't any good, Saints of Las Angels was the only good album after Vince came back and it took so long to get that one.
So much for Nikki's shit about Corabi not having any input on Swine (Helen Kellar can hear him AL OVER the vocal lines), cuz after watching all 4 clips- there's riffs here that ended up on Swine. For sure.
Hahaha well guys the truth is Vince is back! I didn't care if this album Motley's great album, if John's voice is better than Vince. Whats matter now is Vince is back. If Nikki Tommy & Mick wants John still in band they should have an argue with management. The fact is they agreed to let John go...
Whoever says this is grunge is an idiot. This is the heaviest crue album . Although I love the Crue with Vince this album musically is one of their best. It would have went over better if it was not called motley crue. John bought new element to the band. I have to say i love Vince Neil Exposed also which was released around the same time
The Corabi album was definitely the heaviest in Motley Crue's catalog, thanks in no small part t John's gritty voice and whatever Mick did to get that ultra-heavy guitar tone. Too bad that collaboration never went beyond that one album.
Rock meets Grunge, the most underated Album of all Time...
boy, they sounded huge!!!!! AWESOME!
John Corabi was a good fit musically with crue, great album.
Thanks A LOT for posting this!!! I have this footage in it's entirety (first generation video) and have for almost 20 years. Yet...I have it on VHS.
I don't understand how anyone can say that this isn't better than anything done with Vince Neil. John can actually sing! Best music and lyrics of any Motley album!

Agreed brother, best Motley album period! Lots of good shit on the album!
Corabi made them a powerful machine
Only problem is it’s not a Motley album.
@@beauch1119And the songs aren’t good. The band certainly sounds great though.
This was their best album musically by far. Mick Mars even said so himself. If they had just renamed the band because it wasn't motley anymore but it was a great band
XMASS lol
@@badguacamole3709 or back to the foreskins
The darkest, heaviest Crue album.
My favorite formation and my favorite Crue album.ever
This is also my favorite Crue line-up and my favorite album, from all the rock n roll bands. With Vince they were good. When Corabi came, they became the best band in the world. It's a pity they didn't go on with Corabi.
I agree
el buen perro Same here!
Saw them on this tour along with about 150 others for $7. I'd seen the band before and I was absolutely stunned by how much better they were with Corabi. He added more than just a guitar and vocal, be brought a cohesiveness to the band. Oh well.
These are pretty sick videos........... thanks for posting em.
They were an actual "tight band" with Corabi instead of the every fifth word sang styling of Mr Neil. One of the best Rock albums ever.
Goddamn, almost pissed my pants when Mick started tearing up that guitar
I got a chance to meet and hang out with Corabi last Dec. He is a great and very friendly guy!
Vince is the voice of the band, when they made it. Without him, no Motley. Too fast, Shout, Theatre, Girls and Dr. Feelgood. "Classic" albums with a unique leadsinger voice. This was the best line up... I would not call it a Motley lineup but nonetheless, the best lineup.
tommy has great feeling for rhythm, respect
Some of it is Dropping Like Flyes and other Motley Crue CD songs. It was a great time for the Crue those Corabi years, I saw them in Mexico. Amazing concert, heavy as hell. LONG LIVE THE CRUE!!!!!!!
thanks for posting...
Great sound. Mick looks healthy.
0:38 Mick Mars coming up with awesome riffs
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM AT THIS POINT AND WHAT A GREAT CD!!!!!
It's been said so many times but if only Motley had done this under another name because it was and remains a fantastic album.
best the Crue ever was.
Great album
You hear what turns out to be Welcome in the Numb at the end. Sounds way different, these videos are great.
This band just rocks
dropping like flies..love that song..still play it at home when people piss me off...lol..
the best album Nikki ever wrote!
nicee. thanks dude.
It bums me out to see how pure and positive everyone seemed in this and then to read in The Dirt about how shitty it eventually got. Even Mick is super energetic in these. The Clarences love & support Motley Crue!
Vince's for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2:48 - Holy shit that's a heavy groove. When Tommy hits that gong, man, it is such a buzz.
Yeah that was badass
I totally agree, I jam to this album a bunch. It sounds great!
tommy's beat is so dope.
Best short lived Line Up Ever to be captured in Black&White..!!!!!!!
Also it was cool he played guitar that made it alot heavier havin a rythme section
HAHA Tommy has a Planet Hollywood hat XD
Fuck... Thanks a lot for posting this, it's so fuckin' cool!
N.B. Just notice how fuckin' tight Crue sounded during this period. Sound is awesome.

Now why didn't this band fly! I like this shit!
Actually if you read "the Dirt", Mick repeatedly says that this was the worst period of his life. He's just messing around in this video because he's always like that, people just don't realize that he's always this way.
3:15 I love that solo!!!!!! :))
if it came out tomorrow it'd be a hit. they're basically playing the same music w/ vince now
the best!!!!! 😲😲😲
Badass
Corabi was badass in this lineup. Bloated boy should be AGAIN REPLACED
One of my personal favorite albums has Corabi singing: Bruce Kullick's "Union"
Wilde boys, on the Wilde side
crue the best
i dont remember Duallies being popular in mid 90s LA. i would have thought they were rehearsing down here in TX if I only saw their trucks. Their real life is everyone else's cliché. So badass.
motley crue is the shit
its suppose to be spelled that way for motley crue
Crab meister is fit with this line up🔥🔥
I have nothing aganist Vince, but in my opinion with Corabi singing and playing guitar pretty cool, motley was at their best...that was their best album by far
Thumbs up for real rock 'n' roll!
I think Motley Crue music is just Mick Mars coming up with a riff that Nikki is able to play to.
fuckinnn spydeee with the neck brace choice man
This took place in '92.
@w0bbl3r Do you have a copy of that song/version on cd? I have been desperately looking for that for years now... Please let me know! Thanks for the info!!!
@FSMLosst Totally agree. This is really great music.
!!dually noted!!
@gretschfiltertron68 I wish I knew... the Corabi album is still so killer to this day!
tommy ligitely looks like lemmy from motorhead! lol!
Holy fuck that shit at 3:11 is fucking amazing
this vid mick is using a jackson....he used them for a brief time genus
ill be honest if john corabi had stayed with moley crue i would have became a huge motley fan this is the best motley album they ever recorded corabi was a waaay better frontman than vince ever was not that i dont like the vince albums i do but i wouldve loved to see this lineup continue on its just sad we only got one album out of them cause this lineup was amazing
I totally agree. Read my comments above.
I agree especially since what we got after Vince came back wasn't any good, Saints of Las Angels was the only good album after Vince came back and it took so long to get that one.
It was Welcome to the Numb with working lyrics. If you go listen to the Numb and then listen to this song you'll hear the similarities.
fuck yeah this is badd ass!
3:16 mick rules
Dually pickups, the Cadillac of pickups.
So much for Nikki's shit about Corabi not having any input on Swine (Helen Kellar can hear him AL OVER the vocal lines), cuz after watching all 4 clips- there's riffs here that ended up on Swine.
For sure.
goddamn! tommy lee is a fucking beast of a drummer!!!! one of dream drummers for sure!
Hahaha well guys the truth is Vince is back! I didn't care if this album Motley's great album, if John's voice is better than Vince. Whats matter now is Vince is back. If Nikki Tommy & Mick wants John still in band they should have an argue with management. The fact is they agreed to let John go...
I think so to, but he's a hell of a singer .
Droppin like Flies
@OriginalMishima I still have the tour shirt! ; )
Didn't even recognize Tommy with that facial hair!
Tommy's drums sound on that record cant compare. Carabi still can sing.
the band caved into the record company request to get vince back in plus the album didnt sell as much as previous albums.
what was the first song they played?
Whoever says this is grunge is an idiot. This is the heaviest crue album . Although I love the Crue with Vince this album musically is one of their best. It would have went over better if it was not called motley crue. John bought new element to the band. I have to say i love Vince Neil Exposed also which was released around the same time
😂 #TommyLee is HILARIOUS!‼️
what song is it at 0:48? anyone know?
This is awesome Nikki looks so hot
john should be the singer for vr
@imadude113 yup he did!!!
anyone know what the song is from 4:24 to 5:09?
Nicki Six at 1:40. Pretty neat!
I'm well aware that rock stars are people to, but I never pictured Nikki owning and driving a truck for some reason.
seems like they all buy the same fucking car or truck. what the fuck
+David Maldonado Tommy always followed Nikki around like a puppy dog so i'm betting when Nikki bought his truck, Tommy went out and bought one too.
+CaptainFantastik1 they also did that with the Ferrari, as soon as one got one the other would buy one to, just in a different color lol
is mick playing a jackson?
most intelligent people know tommy is a great drummer, but for anyone who doesnt check that groove at 0:33
so simple but it just sounds great
@3xWink hehe ;] ''A True Crue''
CORABI! He was cool.
what is the song at 5:00?
Got any Herb? The look on his face! 1:47 \m/
I assume song at 4:24 is unreleased?
The music eventually became welcome to the numb I think
1:43 Nikki "got any herb?"... pose.
"got any herb"
"absolutely"
lmfao
Isn't the same without Vince!
