The Chieftain with concrete in the engine bay would probably be more reliable than this example. Much less smoke as well. The concrete thing has happened here in Oz, as the Leopard AS1 were decommissioned and placed around various locations as memorials.
Your union flag hanging vertically on the back walls around the wrong way. It needs flipping around with the side thats facing out turned against the back wall.

I am surprised you were able to keep the audio good even with the transfoden telehandler protesting outside shop because you used a real foden. (It will never be a real foden) Hopefully it doesnt k.i.s. when you finish telehandler are very useful.

There is so much music out there, and as a DJ it's a hard choice. But there is always the same old tat played over & over that you forget (or want to....) so you should get a summer evening BBQ and play some tunes. You should look into either getting a personal mic to wear or get a boom mic for the camera so we can hear you better. The engine on the Folden really echoes inside the big barn. Amazing work!
I was with REME attached to a Chieftain Regiment back in the early 70's and I can honestly say the engines needed to be as a pack because they broke down more often than a Lada or Trebant!

15 ton SWL The winch is a monster can’t tell you the exact pull but I have seen it first hand recover a dead chieftain tank up a steep railway embankment
i think the next big investint would be an actual internal crane for the workshop. would make getting engines and trannys in and out so much easyer for you boicks.
great to see the mighty Foden doing what it was built for - and doing it so gracefully, i bet them REME boys never did it as good as this and keep things so clean - if only they made a scale version of the Chieftain and Foden keep up the grand work Joe n Seb
Very difficult to keep it that clean and do it that quick at night, absolutely banging it down, in the middle of a German forest, or English wood or field. I do enjoy the Chieftain, Centurion and all the other pieces of British kit, takes me back to BAOR REME LAD 75-85. Keep up the good work!!😂

That foden is a lovely bit of kit! My dad worked for Scammell in the 60’s to 80’s and did a lot of work with the MOD, he has some great stories!

They are fiberglass front panels, got replaced but didn’t get painted I assume

Red means it’s a Mk13 engine, basically the latest version and most reliable of the engines.
