- You might be planning to come to Malta and you wonder how is the weather and which is the best month to visit Malta. Look no further, in this video you will find all information about the weather in Malta throughout the entire year. In winter the weather in Malta is predominantly warm but with the cold humidity it can feel cooler. Summer in Malta is really hot especially in the monts of July August and September. The best month to visit Malta would definitely be June, the weather is stable, no rain, it is 28°C warm enough with a slight breeze.

What a very useful article! Thank you. (The video shots were beautiful.) I wish I could have had access to this before my mother chose Malta for a winter holiday for an important birthday. We were there in early February just in time for a major storm. We stayed in Sliema and for two or three days watched the waves crashing onto the promenade. Then it calmed down a bit, with some rain continuing but mostly chilly, damp, overcast, with showers. I loved Malta but wished I could have seen it in better weather, even if bad weather is better than no visit at all. (My mother should have had an official birthday in June, like the queen.) Also, in overcast weather, in winter, the days are dark and short, and this cuts down on sightseeing (plus opening hours for attractions may be much shorter).

Hi Alex that was an excellent video. I have been In November 2019,2021 and 2023 and had excellent weather with beautiful Blue skies in the mid 20s and last November 2023 was the warmest I have experienced on holiday. i have been in October 2018 lovely weather and March 2023.

I went in march and it was pretty worth becours its such a diffrent airflow and its just beautiful so if you out there visit Malta here a few Visit Spots : Gozo Blue lagoon , Valetta the Capital of Malta and St julian etc enjoy🙏🏼
Cool video, wish I had seen it before going there in early September :-D The humidity was enourmous, it was 30-33 °C outside, but if felt like 40 °C. And the sea was actually hot rather than just warm!

Alex, I’m from Canada and will take Malta’s worst temperatures. Our temperature drops to -30 or more during the winter. Would like vet to experience every month there. Thank you
Yes. It can easily drop more than 20 degrees in less than 24 hours.
35 with high humidity in July, MINUS 25 degrees in January...
