Knox talked that way to walker on purpose to let walker know he knows what she did and she’s fully aware of that, and then purposely told a lie because Knox knows she’s being watched.
Steve Zahn is 57. I would lean more towards Solo being closer to his real age. Eater's mom was just a baby when the rebellion happened. So about 10-11 year's younger than Solo and could have died around 20-30.

They change stuff to make it better for tv but it pretty much follows the story line of the books.
the safeguard could be making everyone forget. simple and doesn't kill everyone but it does leave open stuff like the coded message. could be poison gas, explosives enough to implode the silo, turn off generator etc.

READ THIS: my theory is that there are multiple safeguards one of them being already mentioned which is in that one episode the lady talking about how they laced the water with something to make them all forget. I think the safeguards is something to reset the silos. And I think 51 silo isn’t a silo but a dome around all 50 silos one big containment. And that’s why he goes technically.
So, if safeguard kills people outside the silo then why the residents like Quinn or Meadows were afraid of it? Also, the Silo 17 was never hit with a safeguard, for anyone who has read the book knows that. And the residents of Silo 17 were killed by Argon (its not a spoiler for those who don't know what it is or have read the book).
Aint gonna lie... this season has been a tough watch considering the first season was soooo good. However....This last episode(episode 9) was really good and one of my favorites of the series . How ironic that they do this with the season coming to an end next week. I hope next season doesn't drag as much.. I think with season 1 being soo good Apple probably thought they had a Gem on their hands so they decided to slow burn season 2 so they can drag this series out. I can't wait for next week now!
The water that Lukas fell into cannot be the potable water that the Silo is drinking. It's gotta be pretty rank frankly. It's just seepage from the very bottom because all those drills show that they went no farther. So it can't have any of this memory loss properties that Common talked about. We don't even know if that's true. Common was trying to get Luz to talk so he would have said anything. The people in 18 don't seem to be forgetting anything. The timeline of the children is confusing. Where did the younger kid come from? He's too old to be from Arrow Girl and Hatchet Boy, but too young to be from the two desiccated corpses. The people in 17 happened to go out on a fairly calm day as far as the "bad air" (whatever that air has in it) was concerned. Solo said the wind shifted. He didn't say a cloud came. Doesn't discount your idea, but you're basing the theory on some weak evidence.

This happened in silo 18 after Quin squashes the rebelion and destroys all the books in circulation. The extra kid they have in silo 17 is probably the child of someone else who died. Lots of people survived the rebelion but with only rats to eat they died out pretty quickly. The people in 17 who went outside literally died from the nanites in the air hunting down anything alive. Julia almost died getting to silo 17 if you recall. The people are in the silos because literal bombs filled with killer nanites blew up around the world. The answers are out there. In the books.

I agree. My guess is that the 51st Silo (probably the FIRST Silo, but whatevs) is where all the answers are. My other guess is that we'll see inside that Silo as a stinger at the end of Ep 10 next week.

The rebels will take the upper hand. and just when they are about to do something brutal or crazy, like executing Bernard or openning the silo's door, Jules gets in her suit n goes to the camera of silo18. And thats how the season should end. Somebody comment about 50 silos, which are as many as the U.S., plus one, the one that the elites live. That would be historicaly inaccurate though, cause adding Canada and Greenland, the states should be 52 Xd
