@@tronlady1 To each his/her own, I enjoyed this. Also luckily he isn't overreacting like so many "fake" reaction channels, jumping up and down, crying etc... because if I see those, I immediately stop/skip the video.
The smile says it all. It is not just his face smiling. It's his soul. This is what this song is doing to me too... and I don't even believe in souls! Imagine that! :)
I see a lot of older Haken fans complaining there's been so much djent since affinity, and I get it, change and all, but I love the direction. Haken and Caligula's Horse owe a lot of thanks to Tesseract and I can't love it any less.
I could see that, but I love it. I think both bands own a lot to Leprous as well. So many in the progressive community have been going in that direction. Can't blame then going more djent. Low tuning just sounds so massive.
Hi. I totally support your view. I never liked Haken that much and stuck to Leprous, Igorrr, Porcupine Tree, Devin Townsend or old Dream Theater. But since Vector I like Haken very very much and I listened the Album to death. Even the voiceless versions. Incredible stuff. I still don't like the old Haken stuff as much as the new one. But in the end, it's just a matter of taste. They are a fabulous combo and are free to do as they want! Love em.
@@sonicallydisruptive please do some tesseract my friend...you're missing out on one of the greatest atmospheric, rhythmical, and masterful bands out there
Hi mate, just discovered your channel this week with this Haken song (I cannot wait for the release in June and are binging this track since days!). I watched some other reactions of yours and want to leave a Thank You. I like the natural feel of your reactions, the joy when you like something and how you put your experience into words. Keep on rockin! And thx for reminding me of Gojira and Katatonia. Didn't listen to them in a while.
I love this song and I loved listening to it with you! Cause you were obviously enjoying it too. And usually when I listen to Haken I can pinpoint other band's influence on them, especially Dream theater. But Invasion is different. Invasion is purely Haken. My favourite song from them! BTW, you should check out Moron Police. Their album A Boat on the Sea is a treat from beginning to end, especially "Captain Awkward" and "Beware the blue skies". Keep going dude! Loved that you didn't pause the song.
@@sonicallydisruptive awesome! They have a more fun approach, I like to call them Dream Theater went to Japan. Do tell me what you think of them! Their lyrics are awesome. And they're from my homeland, Norway!
Wow another great single from Haken! I reeaaalllyy enjoy the track Canary Yellow they recently released, didn't you react to that? Or I'm just losing it. These are the first 2 tracks I've heard since the 2016 Affinity album, which I played to death because Haken is amazing haha, right on great reaction as always.
omg I aint never seen a reaction video quite like the one I would do to this!!!!! Like up and dancing and punching the air around the room! This guy looks like he's listening to hoolio eglesias!!!!!!
great production, the drums and guitars sound is perfect. Sometimes the song sounds like Leprous, sometimes like Textures, better than all their previous album
I saw Hakken a few months ago. Ive never heard of them. The band was stellar. The vocalist was really bad. Maybe he was having an off night, but it just sounded terrible. This sounds great...
Saw them in March in Houston, TX. They had a really good sound set-up in the Warehouse and Ross was none other than phenomenal. Considering he was coming down from being sick along with Devin Townsend being REALLY sick at that show, the whole thing went down swimmingly. Haha... Devin still powered through Kingdom though with the crowd's help. His nose sounded like it was stuffed with popcorn. Poor guy.
Very original approach. Haken is very quickly becoming my favourite progband.
Haken just posted this reaction on their facebook page :D
I'm interested to know what they said because it's one of the most boring reaction videos I've ever seen!!!!

He's done King, I'm sure in time, with more requests he'll get back to them :)

this song is pretty dope, never heard anything from these guys before
Masterpiece alert*
If you're doing more of the new caligulas horse songs i strongly suggest the track "salt".
Funny thing, I just did that song and should be up soon. I agree with you!

Yes I did hear Leprous. Seems like everyone is taking some of the Leprous thing. But, just a killer song!
@@sonicallydisruptive please react to Textures - Sanguine draws the oath, you need that in your life
I hope the current members of YES listen to this. It might remind them to put a little fire in the rythms.

I saw them live with the Mike portnoy's shattered fortress and Ross (the vocalist) was amazing!! I want to see them again playing haken songs
Ross (the lead singer) can be hit or miss live. I've seen them 3 times and some songs were a bit off.
