Considering Aristides offers a huge amount of pickups, having a comparison with some of them, divided by guitar shape, will be really great and a source of inspiration for future builds 🤓
Extremely satisfied customer. These guys can pretty much make anything happen. If you're in the market for a custom guitar, it's seriously worth it!!!! Best guitars on planet earth.
@@AristidesInstruments Your guitars are absolutely stunning! I build my own guitars and my home. From either wooden kits, or I buy the necks and bodies separately and build them myself as well or I modify Guitars that I buy inexpensive and make them really nice. I have some videos on my page. I just don’t have a woodshop at home to build them from scratch. And I’m a woman, and I don’t have enough time to do that anyways, lol! But I did want to point something out in your video. You mentioned that Jescar Fretwire made in the United States. It is indeed an American company, and you do buy them from them here in America out of New York, but they are indeed manufactured in Germany. I just thought you might like to know that. I hope you’re having an amazing day! ☮️💜😊

Hi, I'm Joe from Japan. I love you so much. I'm happy to see your beautiful products in videos. However, it has become difficult to get Aristides guitars in Japan.Because the distributor has changed, in order to get your products in Japan, we have to pay 1.4 to 1.8 times as much as before. And judging from the sales prices in other countries, I think this extra money is going to this greedy distributor Of course, we understand that there are various business benefits to using distributors, but the situation in Japan is crazy. (we would rather pay extra to a great manufacturer like you than pay the distributor). We are waiting for this situation to change. Much love to you all.
Proud customer and Aristides Artist here, I’m consistently impressed with the craftsmanship and engineering behind their guitars. This factory tour offers a great look at how each aspect of their guitars is carefully designed and crafted. I've found Aristides guitars to be incredibly resonant, comfortable to play, and highly reliable in terms of tuning stability and intonation. I own five of them and they're just an absolute joy to play every single time. If you're looking for something innovative and well-built, they’re definitely worth considering!
I was lucky enough to take the tour this summer. Massive thanks to Pascal and the rest of the team for taking the time to show me around. The guitars are impeccable and the sustain is unlike anything I've ever played. I'm still trying to decide what specs to go for, haha.
Best instruments ever. I have two, and I’ve never been more comfortable discussing prospective builds than with these super nice Dutch gentlemen. I encourage anyone interested to hit these guys up.
What sold me on the bass I bought from you , when I visited the factory many years ago, was the main result of using Arium as apposed to wood. You are highlighting the looks rather than the amazing everlasting sustain or dead stop of a note that was achieved when sounding a note. Also the fact that in extreme cold or heat weather situations Arium, as opposed to wood, did not change!
Can say the people at Aristides are a pleasire to deal with. Knowing my gear was made with love and passion makes me value it so much more. Can't wait to receive my sr070!
I have two, an 070SR, and an 070S Trem. Was lucky enough to visit the factory in January this year, Tim showed us around, everyone was super chilled and we had a great time! Absolutely amazing guitars, I don't need anything else... oh I mean apart from an 070S with multi-scale evertune. 😏
wow, that was really an amazing factory tour, i´m so happy and proud of all the heart (and hard) work you put in your guitars, as a very proud owner of 6 aristides instruments guitars so far, i can only confirm how amazing your instruments are! much love to whole team!
So stoked for my build to reach the next step!!!! I know it’ll be worth the wait!! No one touches these guys when it comes to customer experience and communication!
Best guitar I own :) awesome instruments and the guys take so much care during the whole process. Ordering was the best customer service every, you get an response within a few hours and they make everything possible ❤
Nice informative vid. I love this Dutch guitar company for their innovation, craftsmanship and customer interaction. I wish the team all the best for the future!
I love your innovation and your modern materials. Contrary to popular belief (and some prominent guitar company owners), guitars do NOT need to be made out of wood to look and sound great. You and Emerald in Ireland (on the acoustic side) are at the forefront of guitar building. Very cool - I hope to own one someday. EDIT - I LOVE Richlite fretboards...I have 3 guitars with Richlite and have commissioned a custom 8-string with Richlite. A fantastic modern material.
still really trying to save up for a 070R with an evertune, love to see the production progress, and i might be abled to vist the factory if that possible, im also dutch :)
Awesome! If you ever want to swing by to see the shop in person and try some guitars, just send us an email on sales@aristidesinstruments.com and we'll set it up! :)
Very cool guitars!! I have never heard of Aristides before. I am blown away! Welcome to the future. Who needs wood? Since it is not made of wood I bet once you set up the neck it must never change right? Do they warp over time or during certain temp conditions? This guitar seems like it will be immortal! I would love to buy a T series!
1:05 I got no sleep last night and as a result of my depravity I’m currently snickering at the black shapes on the table. How’s your afternoon going? 😂
After watching most of the video, I had to pause and check, one thing: Does Aristides make Left-Handed guitars. Yes, you do. What a relief... I will need to think for a while (and allocate funds for a while) about what I would want in a custom guitar with so many options. I like that you've made a guitar sans the wood though because lumber is finite...and music should not be, especially guitar music. I also like that you do regular and multiscale guitars, headless and headed guitars, and have like every bridge as an option. I am looking to get an Evertune on my next guitar and see that you have them (even in multiscale!) as an option. Very nice tour, great looking facility. Seems like a bunch of solid people, great craftsman and artists... I'd expect nothing less from the Dutch 😎
Iff you talk about green guitars, (not about the colour) this arium made guitars are my number one to go! I have tree of em and need nothing else from 1994 till now on! The stainless frets are like new, but i play 4 times a week..... ♨️😊
i have a couple of questions, do you sometimes needs to make new molds? how many guitar bodies can you make with one mold? and i really love the texture the raw finish has, it feels amazing, even in summer when its hot and hands are sweating, the neck not getting sticky, how does this texture gets applied, is this part of the nano coating or a final step at sanding? and how many people are working in your factory in total?
So one question I had was about the raw tone vs. painted finishes of your guitars. Is there any tonal differences between them or are they too minute to matter? Wondering this since the Aryium has those micro pockets of air that replicate tone wood, would the paint affect the tone/resonance.
Good question! There definitely are slight differences, with the raw series guitars not having any paint on them whatsoever, they're even a bit more resonant than our painted series. I do have to add that it also depends on the type of painted finished you'd put on the guitar, a simple satin finish would have a lot less paint on it than say an complicated sparkle finish would. The amount of paint (just like with any guitar) would always affect the overall tone and resonance of the guitar, but rest assured that whatever paint or finish you'd put on your Aristides, you'll still end up with an incredibly resonant instrument!
Great tour! Incredible how detailed you showed it to us. Thank you! I don't really dig the cavities in the body. So I wouldn't buy one. But some of the paint results look really great and the fretboard material looks very promising.
8:28 Why is guitar resonance a concern when magnetic transducer pickups are used? Does this mean the magnetic transducers are also microphonic, and Arium's acoustic resonance properties play a role in the overall sound profile?
For what you get, and all of the options available, I think it's the best deal out there for the money, the only thing that makes me hesitate is not glueing the frets.
The guitars look really cool and I'd say they're sort of an evolution of what Ken Parker did with Parker Guitars but ditching away the wood completely. One thing I'm personally not too stoked about is the compound radius, which seems to be on every single guitar model you offer.
Yes! Question: do you accept Evertune bridge retrofit requests for old builds? A buddy of mine is selling his 070R to me soon and I wanted an Evertune on it.
In some cases this would be possible, but please note that it would be a very costly operation, creating labor and costs, making it cheaper to just order a new build with an Evertune and sell your current build on the used market.
What kind of in-depth videos would you like to see from us in the future? Thanks for all of your comments, everyone!
I would like to see more about how you developed the multiscale Evertune bridge in conjunction with Evertune.
