Back in 1979, my foster family had roller skates in different sizes (and smooth sidewalks), a swingset, jump ropes, and a ball to play Four Square (with the boxes painted on the side of the quiet street thy lived on), and a pool (it was Florida).
I've found that even if not for safety purposes/feeling safe, night lights are great for being able to see where the walls are in a dark room/hallway at 2 AM when you get up to go to the bathroom
In our experience, 2 of everything seems to be a must😅 In a decade of fostering we’ve had many sets of twins, at one point 3 sets placed with us at one time. (Ages 1,2, and 5). We felt like we had double vision 😂
Extra and preferably NEW pajamas! For your age range. We take emergency placements and new fresh Jammie’s that are just theirs is great. Also stuffies or lovies
I think I’ve had the same “I didn’t realize we were doing that bad” conversation with my husband so many times 😂 Totally agree with the blank sketch books vs coloring books!
Wow 25 kiddis allready i remember you had the 3 siblings for about 2 yrs?...and they went back home. Then i didn't see anything until now so glad your fostering your doing a great' job' pllove hearing your foster journey's.
Yup, we had 20 kids for respite (watching other foster parents kiddos for a short time) this summer over a 3 month time span from 0-17 … it was in the middle of that when I had this video idea because I found what worked well for everyone, no matter the age 😊 Thank you for following our journey :)
Wow thats a lot. You guys are super invested and I love to see it. But this just confirms why I only do kids 0-3 years old. I dont have space for all this in my 2 bedroom apartment 😅
@HappyHoppe Lately we are into card games...uno attacko, skipbo, 5 alive, golf (which you play with 3 decks of regular cards), Disney Pictopia, Code Names (that is a great team game---harder though so better for teens) and I could go on and on lol! Our entire hall closet is floor to ceiling games!
That’s a good idea - however, I bought a couple of those BUT they didn’t keep the blanket smooth, but was lumpy, despite tying it into the duvet. Maybe I just don’t know how to do it 🤪
Yes, we love games :) We’ve had to come up with different systems of organization- still have to work on it though 🤪 I need to organize playroom better so certain toys are easier to find.

Yes, comfy new Jammie’s help with sleeping in a new place! That would be great if you don’t have too big of an age range.

Yeah, that makes sense 👍 honestly kids 0-1 need more stuff than teens 14+ 😂 all they need is a phone 🤪
@HappyHoppe thank you for your comment, and I love watching your videos. Keep it going 🥰
Oh the food! Totally get it! Felt like i have been craving my "normal" food. 😊
😂 yes, kid friendly food and their comfort food is not friendly to my body as a regular diet 😂
Yay, we get Peter this week, too!
I know 😂 he got to join me for a video :)
Lots of great ideas! Love all the games...we are GAME LOVERS too! That is our favorite thing to do with family and friends. Great video guys😊💜
Awesome :) What are some of your favorite games to play with friends?

This was an awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback
When will you begin your
journey of trying to conceive or IVF if I may ask? I know it's a sensitive topic!
Maybe just get duvet cover’s to save space.

Wow so many games!!
Pantry looks stuffed. You guys have a lot.
How do you manage it all?
