I plan on hiring an electrician to come in and install some dedicated circuits. I'm going to order the PWNCNC 2.2kw water cooled too. Looks like it's time to go down the rabbit hole! :)

I stumbled across your UA-cam channel while searching for help with torsion box design. I will comment about that on the part 4 video. This is great information about ordering. I am getting ready to order a Onefinity Elite Foreman in the new year. I never would have anticipated my credit card being turned down. Thank you the advice about calling the credit card company. Even though I am ordering from Canada, any large purchase (>$1000) in a foreign currency (US dollars) will surely get flagged. Which accessories did you order, over and above the software and 3-Axis XYZ Touch Probe? Did you order any dust collection? If so which one? Did you order the Tool Setter?
I did not order the tool setter or dust collection. I will use a harbor freight dust collector. And do not mind reprobing z. I did order the stiff for my foreman, some Rowdy Roman drag chain clips for my water lines from etsy, x and y axis.
@@LarsWorkShop Thank you for the advise about the tool setter. We do not Have Harbor Freight in Canada and the shipping charges from the US are killers.
I am also looking at a cyclone type of device, where there is a shop vacuum at the end of the tubing and in the middle is a trash can with a cyclone top. This make 99% of the saw dust to be placed in the trash can
I’d like to order my machine this week. What should I tell my credit card company what company will be billing the card. Do you have an exact company name I can relay to credit card ? Thanks
Great question! Tell them that you are making a purchase from Canada. Kirbre Enterprises USA Inc. dba OneFinity CNC USA is what my credit card bill had on it. It is also at the bottom of the OneFinity website without the dba. Good Luck!
Hi Lars! I hope you are doing well because I'm not. I bought the exact same machine you did. It fired up, homed, and jogged fine. After the electrician left, I tried to fire up the spindle. It was a NO-GO. I have power to the plug that plugs into the VFD. Flip the switch and nothing, the VFD won't even light up. Pulled my hair out for a while and called PWNCNC. They couldn't figure it out, so they sent me a new one. It came today and it's doing the same thing! I was told that it's difficult to put the plug in and I have to force it. In fact, he said (Force it, you won't break it). Well, I did and I did! I am lost. Did you have any issues with your VFD?
I had zero issues with my VFD and spindle. Do you have a multi meter? If so make sure the outlet has correct power. The prong with the little hook on it, should be on the top, is the ground. You should get 120v if you measure from it to the other holes. Of you connect the other hole you should see 240. From there make sure the plug is in and turned to the right, so it is locked iin and the plug on the VFD is all the way in. Right about the plung on the VFD, really small is the on switch. Click it to on or 1. If you did not see it light up, on the from the little knob controller. On the sides where the slots are squeeze and pull that out. Now put it back in until it clicks. If it lit up on the left side switch to manual and turn the knob all the way counter clockwise, make sure the spindle is off the wasteboard no bit and press the green button. Now turn the knob it should start the spindle. If it does press the red button and set back to automatic on the left side. If this works your pindle is good.

I just watched the video you posted. Since this is your second one from PwnCNC, I would reach out and see it if works for them, if not ask them to figure out why. If it does, it is surely the electrical and I think we can work through it, just need to see a pic of the box "cicuit breaker" and if you are sure the power is getting to the plug, I would unplug the VFD unit and see if the power there is correct, as in the ground to each of the power holes give you 120 and across the power holes you get 240v. let me know what you see.
@@LarsWorkShop That's the first thing that I did. With the twist-lock connector that my electrician installed and the power cord for the VFD locked to that, I unplugged the other end from the VFD. I have 120V from the ground to each leg, so I know it's getting power to the plug. I feel like a total idiot, it should not be so hard. I tried numerous times to FIRMLY attach the plug to the VFD with no success. I forced it so hard that the outlet broke free from the enclosure and pushed into the enclosure. I just got home from work and I'm exhausted. I will get back into it tomorrow morning and will figure this out! Since it's broken anyway, I'm gonna try to get into the enclosure and look around. There is no way that it should be this hard to connect a plug and fire up the unit! I've got to be doing something wrong, but I have no idea what it is.

No not feel like an idiot, we have all been there, just have to work the problem. There may be a fuse in the box. Let me know what you find.
