I just found your channel and I love it. My favorite UA-cam channels are the ones with small shops. Seeing the problem solving to maximize space is always so interesting to me. Plus I admit I love seeing people installing PwnCNC equipment and knowing at least a few of the part's and pieces came out of my tiny shop. Anyway I look forward to following your channel!!
@@Pleasant_Woodworksanything HDPE and acrylic... so in this video both the side panel of the Enclosure and the 1/2" acrylic of the v10. I also do support if you ever have any issues.
Another enjoyable video. You've got me even more excited to get started with my own cnc! Have you decided what kind of spoilboard and work holding you'll be using? Looking forward to your first cuts. Not to mention that rewarding first project coming off of it!😊
You probably already know this but Onefinity sells a replacement z motor with a brake so the spindle will not fall when powered off. You then will have a spare motor for the other axis.
bro great channel. one thing thats got me is i have to do a test speed before the masso will let me hit the spindle forward button...have you experience just powering up the masso and going straight into a carve without doing speed test.
Thank you for the compliment. I haven’t had to do a speed test at all. I haven’t used the spindle forward button though. I hit rewind then cycle start. Not sure if that helps. Feel free to message me on Facebook at Pleasant Woodworks and I can try to help.
How did you connect the vacuum to run when you start your cut file? Nice Job enjoy watching your videos. My machine should arrive in the next few weeks. It's the same as yours including the air cooled spindle. Good choice, great minds think alike - Mick
I purchased an IOT power strip and IOT signal wire from PWNCNC. I go over it in the dust boot video. I highly recommend it. Thanks for the comment from one great mind to another.
Yes I chose air cooled. The manufacturer has tested both air and water cooled and they performed the same in testing. For me and my setup I thought it’s one less thing I have to maintain.
Have seen a few of your videos and your thoughts seem really valuable to me. I'm now sold on the PWNSPINDLE, thank you. Quick question, did you even consider the ALTIMILL from SIENCE LABS? I'm still struggling with that choice and would like your thoughts please?
Honestly I only considered Onefinity, Shapeoko, and inventables. I considered my budget, assembly, reputation, stability, maintenance, build quality, and more. Onefinity checked all the boxes and the capability of the Masso on the elite is just an amazing bonus.
@@Pleasant_Woodworks Thanks for the reply. How long have you had yours? Sounds like your happy with it. Any things you wish you could improve on it? I'm considering the Shapeoko, the Altmill and the Onefinity Elite and you have just "ticked" one more box for the Onefinity. THANK YOU!
The only thing I would change is if I had saved a bit longer and gotten 220v installed in my garage I would have gotten a 220 spindle. What I have works just fine but I think I could run it a bit faster if it didn’t draw too much power. I have stalled it twice. I’m assuming that was the issue or my feed rate was too fast.
There are lots of things that can require a non-GFCI outlet in a garage. Lot's of appliances cannot use a GFCI. Plus once you home has passed inspection and you've received a certificate of occupancy your allowed to make modifications to your own home.
Great video!

I really appreciate your comment. Thank you. So far I’m pretty happy with my PWNCNC. Which parts are yours?

Did you consider the alt mill or the long mill?
Good Job!
Thank you. I appreciate it.

I’m going to work on that today. Im going to try the G.O.A.T. Spoil board system by Eigan Designs.

Yea I know. I just haven’t had a need for it just yet. I’ve gotten in the habit of not leaving a bit in it when I power it off.

So, what about spindle cooling setup. I believe you chose air cooling?

Sigh, local code requires me to to have GFCI in the garage, I can't use a spindle. Great sadness. Congrats to you!
Sorry to hear that. You can still make great things with the router. Thank you for the comment.
