Have you looked at the timezones in Australia? During summer? With states adopting or not daylight saving. It's utterly crazy. And that's normal mate. It seems you'll be missing the CWST on theWA/SA border. Also Broken Hill which is in NSW but has CST.

Depending on how long you take, it will be the wet season up North starting November. Head North for the winter and south for the summer.

We are in a la nina event and have been for a few years so lots of rain. Better than normal el nino event which is hot dry and bushfires.
