I got this monitor for my ps5. I can’t figure how to adjust my settings. The screen seems a bit funky any tips on how to get this looking good on my ps5
I have this at my target for 180, I’m really needing 120 hz or more for Fortnite on my ps5, screen mag be smaller but for competitive sessions it’s what I need. Thanks for the good review will be buying asap
Thanks for the great review! Happy to see that the panel quality is good. I like the joystick and the metal stand. Also, good to see the quick setup options. I agree with you that these curved UWQHD are really good for productivity!! I know this one doesn't have USB-C, and has HDMI. Did you notice any issues with the ports? Any features from Acer for window management - or does Windows provide some support for UW monitors?
Hi, I have been looking into this monitor since it's currently on sale for $249.99. Would you recommend this monitor to someone who primarily games casually and competitively, or are there any better options specifically with a similar price?
I'll be reviewing this in a few days...looks very similar but may be a better option Limited-time deal: LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor 34GP63A-B, VA with HDR 10 Compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium, 160Hz, Black a.co/d/8ztneiF
I hope you show at least the ufo test with the blue background and demonstrate how much black smearing there is for these new VA monitors. Often times, the blacksmearing is the dealbreaker for those who play twitchy, fast paced games like first person shooter games or something like hades Thanks!
@AtHomewithLucas decent enough..But I hope you can show test for black smearing with the VA monitors. Your channel is unique by the way since you review a lot of VA monitors
@halasmo8353 The G5 has a better refresh rate (better game play) the screen is curved better for more immersion and less glare. Also the screen just looks more crispy.
@@AtHomewithLucas But the G5 is 165hz and this monitor is 180hz? how is the refresh rate worse, and also what would you pick this monitor or the asus 34 inch monitor you reviewed a few months ago
Hello! Thanks for the review. Im considering getting this monitor, just wondering if you would recommend it VS lg 34 ultrawide which you have also reviewed, or just go for an older Samsung G5? Im after a gaming monitor with the best picture quality and colors, i dont really care that much about the refresh rate etc.
Are you a gamer? What will you use this monitor for mostly? I think the best all-around pick is the LG. But for gaming and work, I'd pick the Acer. Gaming first with normal use, I'd get the Odyssey (it's perfect for gaming)
I'm curious but does the Acer Nitro ED3 comes with different specs? I have no idea how you got the 180hz version as I can only find the 100hz and 120hz version only here in Malaysia. But I'm hoping all the features are the same, definitely looks more budget friendly than even the more popular Xiaomi monitors here
I just bought this now on amazon for 399 . Hopefully, i got a decent deal. All the monitor variations have me confused a bit . I use a xbox series x I double checked mine has hdmi 2.1 so it isnt the exact monitor in your video. Still confused as to what the differences are EDA343CUR is my model number
I'm pretty sure you got the 240hz not the 180hz. It looks like the model can be 100hz all the way up to 240hz So you got the best version on the EDA343CUR 👍😁
Alright I got it today and it preforms well and looks great. I am only disappointed that it lacks USB and USB C despite being shown in the photos but besides that it looks pretty damn sharp and smooth after messing with the settings. do you know how change the RGB color on the back? Edit: the built in speakers are god awful too but I don't use them.

I'm planning on getting this just for my personal desk setup that I'll be using for coding. I don't do any gaming at all. Would there be any downside to just regular productivity use?
4k is the best for coding as it has the sharpest text but 2k also works just know you might put in more work (eye strane) with this monitor. But with 180hz that will definitely help.
I’m planning to buy an ultrawide. Which one I can prefer. This one or lg ultragear 34? And why ? Im software engineer who does coding, gaming, for entertainment. Can you please let me know. Thank you

I got it for my PS5 and the picture is incredibly washed. I've messed with some settings to make it tolerable. I have an HDMI-DP cable in the mail, I hope that helps
Same thing is happening to me, I got it like 5 days ago but every mode is washed out and white things are impossible to see, I had to download a color profile from the ACER Website to make it look decent ON WINDOWS ; even weirder the monitor of this guy on te video does not look like mine, I don’t know if mine is bad or os the way it is, it would be nice to share how they look to compare.
@@AtHomewithLucas I expend like 30 minutes figuring the settings ,the issue is the HDR and an option called black boost , I turn HDR off on windows settings and turn down black boost to 0 on the monitor settings menu and now looks like a decent monitor.
Ill be picking one up shortly. In my case I don't use my computer often so a $1000 monitor is not needed also the stand takes up little to no space and it has great specs for the price plus its from a reputable company but I don't think that's a 1000r curved screen more like a 1800r.
My monitors colours don’t feel vibrant and colourful as I feel they should be, it feels very dull. To you mind sharing your colour settings to me? Also I’m using this monitor for my ps5
@Himmat768 Okay, I'd say that might be messing with your color. HDR can make your image look too bright, causing a loss of vibrance in color. I'd turn hdr off and run through the game presets. If you don't find a good one, then go into the settings and find a picture mode you like. At last, go adjust the color, contrast, and brightness manually. This is how you will get a picture that looks best to you.
