Her face is so gorgeous Maryna, one of my favourite you've painted recently! When you do the barbeque stick curls you should try alternating the direction of the curls if it's for a character that needs wilder curly hair (like Merida), it will look more natural. For this character, based on a 1930s actress, I think you should have brushed through her curls once they were set. It would have given a more mature and authentic waved look that more closely mirrored the original. But again, she's stunning! Big shout-out to "My Mom" for her fabulous costume design, as always! ;)

I just adore The Wizard of Oz. She's so beautiful. You always work such magic. Enjoy your holiday! My favorite character as a kid was Dorothy, but as an adult, I can't help but just LOVE the Wicked Witch of the West!

That Stella illustration is beautiful! It seems to be a thing for USSR authors to translate works into their own version, I think the same thing happened with Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and it was only recently discovered that the versions were different! As for the being excited to be back from vacation, that’s just the life of an artist I guess

I actually watched the movie only a few years ago for school but I enjoyed it a lot! So many great lines, especially the one about tinman's heart breaking/hurting although he "didn't even have a heart"! For Glinda, I can remember her saying something along the lines of "Only bad witches look ugly" and indeed! This doll of her is absolutely stunning!
