- Good afternoon everyone! Welcome!
Today is the UA-cam soft release of the new body kit I have been putting on the back burner for a few years. The front and rear are complete and the side skirts are in the works, along with option rear wing, and front lip. I talk about my thought process and some things plaguing the SC/Soarer community. 😎

Thank you for appreciating my work and realize the message I'm tryna get out there. You'd be suprised how many people that have potential to do the same, but on a different part of the SC/Soarer spectrum hate when someone else has a voice or is getting praised for doing something. But hey, they're just a complaining nobody by their own choosing.
My neighbor is older gentleman no family no kids no wife just his and his mint 97 sc300 5 speed that he bought brand new from Lexus I’ve been his neighbor now 4 years and some how we’ve became family with him he treats me like a son and just recently gave me the sc300 just because I take care of him and the car and have always drooled over the car i currently have a GSR sedan integra DB8 but this sc300 is something special bone stock and in mint condition I just recently took it to Lexus for him last year and got a full service on everything was touched blessed to own it now he would make drive it all the time because he could t drive stick anymore due to his age so now I have big plans for it just don’t know what direction to go in this video was so good so much info creativity I love it

The part of making friends and the newer generation don't know how to the communicate is spot on. Even the lack of creativity. Most people aren't even creative! That's where most copying comes from they see something they think its cool, without even giving credit. Love the new direction the kit went, and even the transparency about the motivation. So proud of you Mikkel, truly a trailblazer in the community.

Do your thing and mod it, take your time and figure out what you'd like to add. Why do the same thing when you can do better?

Crazy I just came across your video because I’m just getting into body work and I just got a 99 sc300 been fixing it little by little and it’s almost where I want it to be. That front end you got is fire , never thought of making or designing my own about to hop on the sketches tn😂💯

I remember watching the video of you deep cleaning your interior with the Lexus grill that made the car look like a newer ISF. I like the bumper change, especially deleting the high beams make the SC look more like its twin brother the Supra

Really enjoyed this video, alot of true words being said lol. I recently got a 95 sc300 and gonna be a huge restoration build. It has been sitting outside unloved for 10+ years how, it only has 100k miles. My family has dreamed of owning one and I'm extremely excited to be building and learning this platform. I don't think I will ever make my own body parts or do a whole lot cosmetically lol, not much of an artist. after bringing it back to good driving condition I plan to go NA-T.

Yo I really would love to see more of your process. I drive an e46 sedan and everyone rocks the same 3 kits and it’s so played out. I run a pretty unique setup swapping aero parts from different generations and I take a lot of inspiration from your work. I just haven’t been able to do any of the proper molding techniques like you. I’d love to see how you do it. I don’t want to tear everything apart with no direction because my car is my daily and I have kids to take to appointments and stuff just like you.
Go to the junk yard, get spare parts. Learn your plastics and how to identify them would be a good start for you. Also don't be afraid, just try. If you look back two videos I posted a how-to basics that people are really sleeping on which is why I won't do another one.

I totally agree on the community too. I got dragged so hard for wanting to put a Hiro Super Silhouette spoiler on my SC.
That's sad, especially since that's a rare JDM part. Which will boomerang back in desire in time. Hang onto it! And appreciate it.

@@Mikkelism yeah definitely been hard finding an sc400 in good condition the 1uz is definitely an underated platform that stock block can at least handle 800+ compared to my 3uz
@@PROJECTIRONWOLF1 The 1uz fe is definitely a stout and well designed engine. It just needs a little hard work to waken it up.
@@Mikkelism definitely see too many boosted 2jz and 1jz builds not alot of boosted 1uz builds and thats my main reason going for the 1uz might plan on putting the 1uz into my ls and then put the 3uz into my is300

I’m 19 and looking into getting a sc300 or 400 and I’m looking into learning every type of fabrication I can cause I think most of the body kits avalible are just meh and I really want a more aggressive look to the car planning on dabbing up my own custom over fenders
Kinda an old video so don’t know if u will see this but I’m looking to get an sc and just wonder what are the curls lights closer to the middle that u covered up (prolly stupid question) but are they high beams, fog lights??

I think so. It was Hella strong at this location. I thought it would only effect the audio.
