Hi, great videos! My Kenwood has maestro rr when I go to gauges it says obd2 error 1. It was working good until I unplugged the obd2. It’s plugged back in but not getting info. Thanks for your help!
I wish I was close to you guys because after my rr and kenwood hook up in my f150 the right side of my ac won't get hot/cold. Plus fr left tire sensor won't read after installation
why don’t use connector on remote turn between main horness and front speaker wires?

I am installing one on my 19 titan… the backup camera shows up, but only when forced in the radio menu, and it is grainy as hell.
Also, when the truck is off, and the harnesses are plugged in, the radio kicks on. When i was using the original harness from sony and aftermarket adapter, no problem

What is lost if the OBD2 connection is not used? I have a piggyback tuner already at the OBD2
No Steering wheel controls no custom pages oil/ boost pressure climate controls heated seats etc
ouch. taking out wires. i am not an installer but have done my own installs a couple times but it would be nice if you installed something for me and then i change vehicles and can use the aftermarket parts for my next vehicle and wires weren't removed. just saying.

Man. Remember the days where you had 12 wires that you simply connected to the OEM wires. All this complexity and we didnt really gain much.
12??? My 77 Impala had.... 4!! Power, ground, and HARD WIRED to a single, center speaker in the dash.
@@lesliemobleaudio8018 lol....remember those....and the old GMs that had 1 wire to each of the rear 6x9s for hot side and negative was grounded...it was a simpler time
Jesus I'm stunned people still think this is way to do this in 2023. How much did you spend on all that idara garbage anyway, looked like an easy $300+ and the radio on top on that.
For just about any car You can buy for less than $500, full oversized Android kits with the bezel, all the wires, CANBUS,OBDII, Reverse camera, GPS, LTE, CARPLAY, Audio DSP!!!! ability to install.... ANYTHING, Gauges got em, Netflix and chill on your way to work why not, want it to look like that Kenwood, OK but dunno why, how about factory logos and such, sure. If you're lucky maybe that Kenwood will allow you to change between 7 preset colors for the buttons 😂🤣
So much bull sh t at these days just to hook up a stup d stereo
