At the 1:30 mark, ALWAYS plow around your fire hydrant. You don't want to wait the extra 15 mins it might take firefighters to dig it out then hook up to it if your house is on fire.
It's a city violation if the fire department taking five or more minutes and the fire chief will call you or city will do it if you violate three times you'll be fined if your neighbors had a fire and you will need insurance to cover the damage and not get sued
I enjoy seeing the beauty of the snow. I'm in southeast New Mexico and snow is rare, although we do occasionally get snow. I enjoy your videos. Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄
I'd say you're incredibly lucky for snow in one respect ( if you like snow, of course ). It looks to be about a good foot to a foot and a half deep. Stay safe. And have a Merry Christmas.
I have a 24” deluxe as well, the only thing I don’t like is 1st gear is too quick, I want a slow crawl in 1st. I’ve adjusted the friction disc as far as I can and I still find it too quick. 😕
Bought a new Ariens a couple of years ago. Ran awesome the first time I used it. Refused to start after that. Carburetor went bad after one use. Sold it for what I paid and went back to the Troy Bilts. Never had a single issue with Troy Bilt machines. The Ariens I bought new was probably just a lemon odd ball but first impression is everything so will never buy one again. I know a lot of folks that have them and love them though.
Which model Ariens blower is that? My Deluxe 24, would do a much better job clearing that amount of lake effect snow. Since you have a camera operator, get a tripod and have the second person help knock down the snow. It will make using that machine easier and get the job done quicker.
All I see in this video, everyone is trying to force their snowblower through the snow! Let the damn blower do the work, edging the machine into the snow and let clear the way! I've been snowblowing snowblowing since the mid '70s...one learns how to efficiently use a machine like that during the years! The last couple minutes of the video is laughable......
blower sounds good i still have my dads 1964 airens 8 hp snowblower that i used as a 14 yr old kid during the blizz of 1977

Shovel around a fire HYDRANT! Firefighters hook up to a hydrant not extinguisher

@@alexthemtaandr211weatherfa2 Not where I live. Why would they have my number? I just bring it up. It’s your house. You may need it someday.

Glad the storm is over. You did a great job through it all. The doggies always love snow. Have a great holiday!
Lots of snow, good video! 😊.

Dang, do you have to deal with this much snow every year?
Really can't beat those ariens. Bought a 24 inch deluxe this year to back up the toro when the deep stuff hits.

Thank you for sharing and your APPRECIATION to your subscribers 😢😮
Why are both cars out in the weather? Looks like one could be IN the garage!
Wow , why do you have the chute deflected down instead of all the way up

That's the Ariens Classic 24. You can tell by the smaller auger housing, smaller wheels and tires and no headlight.
That Ariens seems like its difficult to handle. A tracked machine offers better performance.
At least it is drier snow this time.
Drop your slide shoes a bit so you won't be fighting with your snowblower all the time.
Hello 👋 hello 👋
Please 🙏 please 🙏 please make complete videos of removing piled up snow ❄️ on cars 🚙… thanks 😊
