F-15 on the dev is becoming better and better! the plane can actually now dogfight! I gave this jet a lot of hard time when it was first announced but I can see its potential! it can even hold its own against the Su27, which is very impressive!!

In strsight up turning capability and rate fight? It will be worse, the 4000 is a prototype, the can put any FM on it.
except it flew some ~350 odd times and has a good amount of data/info around it. It's not some made up plane. Also - every plane in this game has "any FM on it", if you think anything in WT is even similar to irl performance you got jokes.
Ight deal, france gets Rafale, Germany and Britain gets eurofighter, ussr get’s whatever they’re using now, and USA gets the f-22 with 9x

In fairness though, the F-16 and Su-27s should out-maneuver the F-15 at least a little bit, it is an actually massive aircraft but the lift body design does help it stay somewhat competitive
@@wickedjaws5400The f15A and C are both very good dogfighters. Mainly 2 circle but they have good 1 circle capabilities aswell. It should outrate the su 27 by quite a bit as it has better thrust to weight ratio and loses less speed during turns. The f15E which has way bigger fuel tanks is a very bad dogfighter as it is a strike aircraft.

Thank you! Been looking for a video on the updated flight model and honestly think this flight model is much better and much more competitive. I still think its gonna get dogged on by r27s but here we are... all I can say is its appalling that gaijun things sparrows are comparable to 27s

Something I don't understand is why everyone always does one circle when doing these kinds of dogfights and never take advantage of going two when they get the chance and keep trying to one circle the fight I can understand f15 v f15 but taking an su27 or gripen one circle instead of two is basically suicide and the smart thing to do would be to use the f15s thrust to rip around the two circle and pull in, is there just something I'm not getting about the flight models in war thunder making one circle fighters dominate in both regardless if the other plane has high thrust and good aoa like the f16
wdym f16 is the best rate-/dogfighter, the f15 and su27 have no chance against it. Only the gripen and mirage 4k
@@lohpu1208The f16 doesnt have nearly the one circle capabilities as an su 27 or mirage or gripen. It is a 2 circle fighter, and it is the best 2 circle fighter of basically any aircraft in warthunder (and basically any overall) the f15 is slightly worse in a 2 circle than an f16 but is still alot better than a gripen mirage or su 27. I recommend the growling sidewinder if youre interested in dogfights and what vehicles excel in what. He mainly plays dcs which is about as close to real air combat as a simulator can get.
One thing to note is that the 1 corcle helps to jam the WEZ of fox 2s.. A su27 will kill almost everything if it can get a good launch with an r73, and a 2 circle will give it that.
you can make it work its just really hard cause mouse aim is trash at sustained turning it will go uncoordinated and janky so you get more drag anyways

not really, the motor is slightly more powerful but the rocket itself is heavier and have more drag also it should have 2 channel seeker. So i would say say it is more like an 9M with better seeker and range
The aam3 should be a lot better the aam3 is one of the best non trusth vectoring ir missile it should have aim9x irccm and python 4 fly performance

Ahh yes i love it when the war thunder community gets into an uproar when popular plane is weak but also gets into another uproar when it does get buff, joke aside because at the end of the day it doesnt matter how skilled you are or how good your plane is, all it take is a random missile or you being forced to fight in a furball to make you go back to the hangar just to repeat the cycle over again.
The AAM-3 should be better then the 9L in every way even the 9M it should have stronger IRCCM, the AAM-3 could be mach 3.5 but theres mixed information between sources
They reduced the IRCCM for balance I guess.

Why do you have your flaps down the two circle/ rate fight? Doesn't that just kill all your speed?
Not by much, plus it helps with tightening the turn circle and maintains the plane in the air at low speeds.

5:40 what you did is what we call a "Syrian lead turn" It's a Hail Mary turn against a more maneuverable opponent.
Does that work in war thunder, I imagine you dont have to turn accross the nose like that.

Used to be that way, then they adjusted it before the dev closed, and tbh I think that they are still working on it.

Depends on the fuel load but not that much really. On min fuel I sustained a constant turn at mach.@@AKars1
You get in a dogfight like what? Once every 10 matches or so and that usually ends in a 3rd party missle to the face.
We need massive enduring confrontation maps, we could have nice dogfights that way

@@carottefondeurenfer nah we need smaller lobbies. on the EC maps its the same as the normal maps (everyone just going to the middle and making a giant furball) but it takes slightly longer.
It is still beneficial to know the capabilities of the planes.
Just saying..... The canards are pure esthetic, they don't work for the gripen in WT, the devs literally said it.... It will bug

to be fsir f15 works best when kept over 600km/h youre suoposed to out rate things not just do full pull turns the entire time the best rate speed is around 700 to 800 km/h not a full elevator pull

Funny how all the prototype planes end up being the best in WT... It's almost like they've got made up stats and none of the flaws you find in a production series aircraft because they never properly produced it.
the single, and only prototype of M4K has 300+ test flight, so flight data isn't that hard to find and verify. it's also a giant kite with more than 1:1 TWS. however, flaws that are related to factors that aren't ingame (durability, safety, cost, ergonomics, etc) are gone, because it's a simcade

The f15 feels dead on arrival, the mirage 4000 gets more better ir missiles, dogfights better and accelerates better. The gripen has 3 times the flares, gets more ir missiles 2 less sarh missiles, much better flight performance. The su27 gets more and better ir missiles and better sarh missiles, it out dogfights the f15 too.
The 4000 is just weird in MY opinion.

Su27 should be way better in once circle dogfight in comparison to F15, while F15 is already good in what it is supposed to be good: energy retention and two circle dogfight in comparison to Su27.
Basically Su27 is still underperforming a little while F15 is performing correctly.

I tried before, problem is on the dev F-15 radar has trouble locking or holding lock! idk why though, maybe its a work in progress; But I can tell you that it is even worse than mig's radar currently

The F-15 is overperforming heaps right now. It shouldn't be beating the SU-27 in any one circle engagement, either the F-15 needs a nerf or the SU-27 needs a buff.
