The control is what is not changing between the two plants which is the temperature and light given to both of those plants and the variable is what changes between the two plants because one plant is being watered by a energy drink and one is not the name is independent variable and a dependent variable is what else is different between the two plants based on the independent variable,the dependent variable is which one will grow the highest.

Ozumṣauce the dependent variable is the thing being controlled by the iv, for example if you study for 10 minutes instead of studing for 0, it will effect your grade, the dependent variable is the grade and it also has to be measured
