My old fossil sport just died, fossil is giving me an upgrade by paying the balance amount. Should I go for the 5e or gen 5 as I don't like big watches.
If you ask me I would go with the Gen 5 since it has more features to offer but it always depends on how you are using the watch and what you want the smartwatch to do. Btw I upload a comparison video about these 2 watches on Sunday so be sure to check it out :) it will probably help you !

I just bought this watch because I have a Google pixel 6. I know there is another version an updated one but I decided to go with this one because I don't need too fancy of a smart watch I just wanted one that is small enough for my wrist. I do have a small wrist. I don't care about using this watch for more than 24 hrs as I will only wear it when I go out to places and maybe sometimes at home when I am home in the house. I have the old Samsung Galaxy watch watch and since I got a Google pixel 6 I wanted something that is a bit newer and that works with the pixel 6. I know Google is coming out with their own watch but I don't want it right now, like I said I don't really want a fancy watch just one that is newer and better than the old Samsung watch that first came out. Thanks for the review it helped me to know that it will be an okay watch for me and what I will use it for. I for sure don't care to go swimming with it. I don't want it to get messed up and I don't like wearing a watch in the water, I don't like how it feels when I get the watch wet.
Thanks. It is not normal that the watch is heating up and it's not suppose do to so. It's always a sign that something is wrong with the watch. I would suggest taking it back to the shop or sending it back.

I'm having trouble with sending a message from the same watch. I get to the send or cancel part an click send just for it to say cannot connect to phone. This is the only set back I have in this watch an was wondering if anyone came across this an of you did how did you fix it?
I hears quite often about this problem but I did not come across it. Unfortunately I also don't know how to solve this issue :/ but you can try to disconnect the watch once from your phone or/ and reset the whole watch and see if that to anything
How accurate is this watch I've just returned my Huawei gt2 because it didn't pick up my heart rate properly I presume because I'm heavily tattooed also calories burnt was way out and step counter when pushing something i.e a pushchair it wouldn't count steps is the gen 5e better
So first of all your tattoos play a big roll in the heart rate measurement. The ink, pattern and Saturation of some tattoos or tattoo sleeves can block light from the sensors and that potentially makes it difficult for your heart rate sensor to get accurate results. But has for the heart rate sensor of the Fossil Gen 5 e, on my experience it was very good and gave me good results when I compared it to my Pilar H10 chestband whereas the GPS tracking or steps where a bit of in my testing. Since it needs your phone GPS, there are sometimes communications problems between the two devices. On my normal daily steps the 5e was doing fine but for the running tests it wasn't that great.

Now speaking from my experience I like the samsung galaxy 3 a whole lot and the fossil gen 5. But I would wait a little bit longer since we expect to see the samsung galaxy 4 and active 4 this year as well as the Fossil gen5...probably...
Well if you can wait I would wait. But I can't say what upgrades we will get with gen 6. Just keep in mind that it would probably be twice the price of the current gen 5.

No problem :) I would definitely wait for the Gen6 if you don't mind spending a little bit more money on a watch. But if I would have to guess the Gen 5 e would last about 2 weeks in the time only mode.
Well that is awkward....the only thing I can think of that you are looking in the wellness app and over there you only have a few. Just take another look and you should finde the sport modes :)
Well you can't say for sure but I am expecting it around Oktober this year. Normally Fossil launches new watches every year around that time. Only last year wad an exception.

It's decent. You have no bass but you can still talk normal. If the connection to the smartphone is stable you should have no problem.

You can go to the wellness app or just add the workout tile to your screen or scroll down from your health stats.
