Nice to have the debrief, looking forward to watching it! I don't know why the statistics weren't visible anymore on CP's video, but here they are. I will do the same thing for the October version (and maybe email it to make sure it stays online 😂)
The largest split (so just the biggest difference between the highest and lowest score of a movie)
1. Prometheus (22 split)
2. RoboCop (16 split)
3. Alien Resurrection (13 split)
4. Alien Covenant (12 split)
5. Blade Runner 2049 (11 split)
Closest together (so the average of the 4 scores, and then the largest difference any of you had with the average. Of all these difference, the following movies had the lowest difference. Meaning you all agreed a lot on it)
1. Terminator 2 & Aliens (diff of 0.5)
2. RoboCop 3 & Terminator Salvation (diff of 1)
3. Prey & Terminator (diff of 1.75)
And last the hot take radar (I took for every movie the three people that had the scores closest to the 4 people average, and took the split of these three people. If the split was below 4 it meant that these three people agreed quite a lot on the placement of the movie. Then I calculated how many places the fourth score was from these agreeing three. If the number of places is very large, it means this fourth person had a "hot take" with respect to the other 3, because the placement was dramatically different)
1. RoboCop 1987 "Hot take" of Brian (14.67 places higher than the average of the other three)
2. Alien Covenant "Hot take" of Brian (10.3 places lower than average)
3. Three way tie for third (all 9 places higher than the average of the other three) between: The Matrix ("Hot take" CP), RoboCop 2014 ("Hot take" CP) and Terminator 3 ("Hot take" Brian)

I would say T2 judgment day is my favourite film out of the 31 I saw it as a kid in the mid 2000s and loved it even at a young age I always remember the canal sequence and that nuke scene gave me nightmares for a while 😂 I watched again recently and it's timeless.

Maybe RoboCop is a lost in translation type of thing for Bryan. I can't speak for other countries but it seems like a lot of the satire is very specific to the US and it's fucked up love affair with corporate interests.
Matrix Revolutions would be in last place for me, because literally every single thing about it annoys, upsets, angers, confuses and/or kills me.

I don't think people know about it and that's a shame because it's a terrific, fun and interesting movie that's worth shedding new light on and I think it's a essential part of any respectable Science Fiction, Horror and Action collection. I think when it comes to Terminator: Dark Fate and looking at it differently as opposed to Alien³ is that for Alien³ (and the rest of the series), we never got to see the continuation of Newt and Hicks' story and we probably never will where as with Terminator we had 2 continuations of John Connor's story (to varying degrees of investment). I could include Genisys in it but I haven't seen it. Regardless, maybe the best action for the Terminator series was to take that into a different direction and focus on the heart of the franchise which has been Sarah Connor. Im sad we won't get to see it play out.

I might be wrong but I never saw John Connor's destiny as stopping judgement day but to lead humans in the war against the robots after judgement day. So if he doesn't make it to the war he would defacto not achieve his destiny.

Lena Headey did a great job as Sarah Connor in the Sarah Connor Chronicles, in my opinion anyways.
I think Bryan thoroughly misunderstands robocop. Also I don’t think a loud, vocal minority can be to blame for dark fates poor box office reception.
You have to keep in mind he's from another country. The reason I asked about 'Starship Troopers' (also directed by PV) was because Robocop was essentially that for how "proud" the US was of our "crimefighters" (Ie. The "War on Drugs") - right up to modern day pseudo-propaganda about the police force. I can understand his misunderstanding while watching it straight; and not expecting the tone to be "mixed up" with the soundtrack.

While I personally respect everyone’s opinions I would rather watch Robocop over the first matrix I’ve never been a huge fan of The Matrix tbh, I think the action scenes and philosophy are pretty good but the acting and dialogue are pretty rough
I can agree unfortunately, I saw all the movies the matrix influenced before I saw the matrix and I wish I could see it before all of that. I was born in 93 and people really weren't talking about the matrix too much for me unfortunately
No one will convince that Terminator 3 is a bad movie. I just don't see it and won't see it. For me it doesn't do the unceremoniously victory of the last film. The KEY WORD for this film is WHAT IF? What if they didn't stop Judgement Day? What if Judgement Day was inevitable. Like that line said. Arnold Schwarzenegger character literally had to lied to him to get to that place at the end of film. Which leads us in a dark note. Sometimes I want my movies end up in a dark note. And when John Connor narrate that line at the end of the movie. Just give me chills and goosebumps. For me personally Nick Stahl was good as John Connor. This John Connor is a different John Connor. He is lost, don't know where to go, depressed, emotional, homeless, lost his mom, and doesn't want to become that John Connor anymore. That what I got out it.

People miss the point of T3. Thr female Terminator is dangerous because she's more efficient in how she finds and kills her targets. She's there to cripple the resistance by killing its future generals, she isn't there to guarantee their victory. Judgement Day is inevitable. T3 is a hell of a lot better than anything that came after it, that's for sure.
So, this is my first time watching one of these. Well, I’m not “watching”. I’m listening at work: I really enjoyed the part where Jordan Peterson tried to argue for a 100% satirical watching of Robocop. I love the satirical depiction of American masculinity and family values getting fucking pumped full of bird shot!
So i can handle someone not liking robocop, i cannot understand how the generic cash grab remake can even considered better.

Bryan’s takes always annoy me because he basically is just contrarian for the sake of it. “I don’t like robocops ending cause I don’t empathize with Murphy cause he’s just a robot” but also “robot David is the most compelling character in history”
CP may talk a lot but at least he gets to the point. With Bryan it takes him 10 minutes to complete a sentence
I would love to see Bryan give his opinions on the performance of robocop to Peter Wellers face he would put Bryan in his place as if he knows anything about acting and film. Cos his taste in film is god awful I mean bladerunner what the fuck is that shit
For the most part I’m not a big fan of his channel. His taste in movies is very different from my taste so therefore he looks for things in movies that I don’t look for. Cody, Sean, and CP’s taste in movies is more similar to my own so I find them more relatable. Also I think that they are better at explaining their opinion. Whenever Bryan tries to explain his opinion it just sounds like he’s yelling about something. However with all of that in mind I still think that just because his opinion is different than yours doesn’t mean that his opinion is bad. I don’t think that Blade Runner is anything special either but I can respect the fact that he does.
Bryan lomax has to be the most frustrating UA-camr that i have ever seen, i mean there are many times that i am saying, yeah that guy is right about that and then he puts new hope at number 27 and completely make me want to strungle him!

Bryan has no soul. Robocop and T3 are great, highly enjoyable, though imperfect movies. Hating on Nick Stahl's performance like Ed Furlong's whiny ass was any more believable as a future leader. And Kristanna Loken is hot but she also was very intimidating and played a rock on terminator. Genisys is ok, Dark Fate is awful. I still have yet to see Salvation so i can't judge it but i more or less agree with Cody. More killer robots that aren't Transformers are always watchable.
