So thrilled to have Sean back! He was our Ace, and we knew we could count on him, once he changed his pitching a bit, for the better! Thanks Sean! ❤! Welcome back! #LGM25

I'll take some less money to be with a competitor and stay where I'm at. Plus Severino was a fan favorite. No one will care about him in Sacramento...
Would’ve been so cool to run it back with the same rotation as last year, but you can’t fault the Mets for not wanting to sign Sevy to the deal the A’s gave him. And he deserves every penny of it.
I said from the outset that I wanted Manaea, but was very wary of bringing Sevy back. Sevy logged so many more innings last season than he had in the previous four seasons. That is a lot of stress on an arm. How many times have we seen a guy get overextended and then have arm problems the next year. Manaea had been acclimated to much higher pitch levels over the same period, so I think he's a much safer bet to hit the ground running without the arm stress. I like Sevy a lot, and I appreciate what he did for the Mets, but I would not have given him a big contract to come back. Very happy with Manaea.
@@mpound97 Unfortunately, we live in a society where money talks. Would you have said the same about Soto leaving the Yankees? Ah, the choices we make. Take care and Happy Holliday's everyone!
