Ohio Turnpike Urges Travelers to ‘Be Safe Together’

As the summer travel season heats up on the Ohio Turnpike and elsewhere, the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) is also kicking off “Be Safe Together” - a new global roadway safety campaign.
“The safety of all motorists and passengers depends on responsible driving behavior behind the wheel,” said Ferzan M. Ahmed, P.E., executive director of the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission and chair of IBTTA’s safety committee. “Ahead of the busy Memorial Day travel weekend at our customer appreciation event, we met with families, law enforcement officials, and tow truck operators who are urging all travelers to ‘Be Safe Together.’”
