Rad-X will disable mutations temporarily. I use it when building sometimes, marsupial can be obnoxious lol. Great build! :]

I was surprised that they did not port the stockade fence from fallout 4. It seems silly using farm fence for defense.

The build is what I would imagine a late player home to be. Nicely done. An alien and cat astronaut (and alligator) stuffed animal? Man, I need to link up with someone and play more.
Nice house :) My GF liked it very much, so i suprised her, building it for her :) She was very pleased. I do had troubles with the 2 half wooded walls around the tower. For some wierd reason it would not fit. Tried stripping a few things but never wanted to connect. So the end result is the same, but with the tower a bit lower :D
i know you probably dont care but you can use a full slant wood wall as a replacement of the two half walls and the two small slanted walls below it

I hate using concrete in any of my builds personally. I always think in ways of "how would my character build this in the post apocalypse?" And having the equipment and knowledge of how to make concrete foundations is just not something that makes sense to me. I really wish the scrappy junk walls from Fallout 4 were available instead of just the default wood, you can never really make anything all that scrappy.

i believe at 13: you couldve just added floor matsor rug to the tires and you could place the defense on top. if the rug could be placed. never hurts to try

Hi norespawns. It’s been awhile since I have played Fallout 76, just due to situational circumstances (living away from home atm) but my question is, are you Building this Base on an XBox? I’m saying this based on the controls on screen, sorry if I’m wrong, I thought you were a PC Gamer.

They should add an RP gamemode where your decisions are final. Every NPC is killable, and if a place gets nuked it stays nuked.
Never bothered looking into 76 but goddamn i really dig the new settlement system, looks like it feels way less clunky

Readers. Is there any particular build item you really want to see added? Mine would be some sort of small crane or winch to place. Would like it for a Warehouse or loading and unloading area.

I know this channel from the Fallout 4 builds, and haven't bought Fallout 76. What are the online servers like? Is it pretty chill or would I expect to get hunted down and robbed after an hour or two?
It's mostly chill people, I've met maybe 2 grievers and I have the game since december.
I've been griefed a couple of times out of 400 hours of game time but it's rare.
Very chill. And the map is huge, so most of the time you won’t see anyone at all.
I can only vouch for Xbox servers but I'm assuming it's equally chill everywhere too

I know this is a noob question but where can I find some wall/floor decoration plans? My camp is looking so bland right now.

Whitesprings will have lots of the walls and the different floors can be found in the Atom Shop
I think I bought most of my from vendors. Buy them when you get the chance, you might not see them offered again for a while. Also taking over a Public Workbench and defending it once will give you plans as rewards, often decorative ones.
Vendor bots sell them but they're lowkey pretty expensive. Player vendors sell them too, they're usually not as pricey. But taking over workshops is probably the best bet
To temporarily turn your mutations off use rad x or rad away one of the two will work

Watching this video made me realize just how boring my roofs are.
I don't think anyone can use your power armour station, it needs room in the back for the players character to be while they work on the PA. Having it up against the wall or fence renders it unusable. I've came across a lot of camps where the frames simply don't work because of this.
yup - you can, as I repaired my armour after this
If it's anything like Fallout 4, you can always spin the power armor rig around so the the back faces out. Makes it easier to fit it into tight places and still be usable.
Edit: hadn't realized it was the cherry picker style. The other version can be spun around with out too much trouble in 4.
Wait I just though of this wouldn’t there be no tires because in a nuclear blast with a warhead which was the war temps can jump up to 30,000c in 1second so wouldn’t all the tires melted
in the blast zones, sure - but the blast zones would only be small areas
Is the oil extractor already there i don't see it
do the tires have a good durability are they worth the atoms
Rad-x suppresses mutations
Where have you found those satelite dish ? is there a plan for that in the game or is it an atomic shop item ?
atom shop - 300 atoms or so I think
Using Rad-X will suppress but not remove mutations such as Marsupial.
John Brown Rad X diluted even keeps your mutations equipped while giving 100 Rad Resistance (normal Rad X gives 200) but you should have Starched Genes Perk equipped. If unequipped Rad X diluted might also remove the mutations, of course I did not give it a try for obvious reasons;) So use Rad X diluted + Glowing Blood Package + RadShield and you have a very efficient Rad Resistance!

Give up on trying to build something in a certain way. Boy do I know. Had to use stairs for a "parking" spot for the Trailer from the Freestates Bundle. Wanted to use the ramps connected to 2 Concrete foundations, but they wouldn't work. Very Annoying.

Sprok56 Have you deleted old blueprints etc? Sometimes they have resources locked into them. It’s useful to occasionally clean out your stored build items completely and start from scratch. Otherwise, turrets use up a lot of budget.
