Turks only respect to true enemies and true allies. By the way Poland were our true enemy. But now I think we are strong allies because of our brave histories. Like everybody said that Ottoman Empire didn't accept partition of Poland. Also victims of war came to Istanbul and founded Polonezkoy/Adampol. So this village still alive and it shows that our relations never broken. I hope it goes on... Long live Polish and Turkish nations!
That's true brother. As the only one on whole earth, never accepted partition of Poland. We never forget about this. All the best for your brave nation.

We owe you lovely Polish people a great deal of gratitude and goodwill;-) Sometimes I wonder that peoples memories are so short when it concerns orthodox Islam and the horror it spreads! I love listening to this. Best wishes from the UK x
hajperGT Thank you :-) In the UK people are only just waking up to the reality of what Islam really represents. Pure evil! Despite the political pandering to Islamism by our Government and the bias of the media which they control ! Caused by the communists and their friends, the half educated liberal progressives with their stupid dreams of a 'fluffy bunny' Utopia! And others, the neo-Nazis, who see them as 'allies' in their shared agenda for world domination. Well totalitarianism of one sort or another never solved any problems! I read the Qu'ran and it was so obvious to me that it is a political doctrine disguised as a Religion. When I first spoke the truth I was called a 'racist' or an' Islamophobe' but people are less critical now. We can start by closing our borders to Muslims altogether whatever the EU unelected 'Parliament' has to say about it, They don't represent the wishes of, or care for the protection of any of us and their 'Tower of Babel' is destined to crumble in any case. I remain optimistic that we will defeat them together with the help of the Almighty!
God bless King Jan and God bless Charles of Lorraine. This was a close thing and we may have to do it again to save Europe. Our Lady, Queen of Victory, pray for us. Niech zyje katolicka Polska.
At least Ottoman Empire/Turkey respected Poles and after Battle of Vienna we became very good friends. In 2014 there was 600 anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Lechistan and Ottoman Empire. And it is said that there are not known longer undisturbed ties between two countries. What is more, Ottoman Empire never recognized partitions of Poland, they kept place for polish ambassador through 125 years of polish slavery, and during audiences of diplomats from different countries, sultans was asking "where is ambassador of Lechistan?", and he was getting the reply that "ambassador of Lechistan will be late due to tough road conditions". And Turks were seeing Poles as superior to e. g. people of Prussia. Turks gave Poles shelter when they were running from Poland from prosecutions of Russia and Prussia. There is polish village called Adampol or Polonezkoy, where today 1/3 of inhabitants are polish speaking Poles. And during WWII, when Germany invaded Poland and their ambassador claimed the right to take polish embassy building, government of Turkey denied him by saying that they are our friends and will not do what Germans want. So Germans had to watch polish flag just outside their embassy windows. There are few more examples of this friendship, like Poland being first country to recognize Turkey as republic. So if i had to say who was always our ally, i would say Turkey. And Turks are not arabs, even their language is totally different.
Noshit Sherlock Turkey and Denmark were the only ones to not accept the partition of Poland respect to them... can I ask where does the word Lechistan come from in your language? I have been learning about Slavic people and where Poland came from before it was Poland it originated from groups of Slavic people the main two groups were named Polanie and Lechici (Lechy) Hungary is the oldest friend of Poland even in their language they call us Lengyel I also heard Lachy Lenku

In early XVII Polish king Wladislav IV Waza wanted invaded south Europe and liberated Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece from Turks with 400 000 army (Poles, Cossaks, Lithuanians) but died too fast and were civil wars beween Poles and Cossaks and 280 000 soliders fought in that conflict like Battle of Beresteczko 1651.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Berestechko After civil wars Russia beaten often by Polish- Lithuanians became superpower.
Poland has had a rough time of it, but their tenacity always saw them through. I never knew about Sobieski III until I saw the movie "Day of the Siege". The Polish people DID save Europe and Christianity, I have a new found respect for Poland.
People don't understand that for the Ottoman Sultan, this wasn't a war of religion, it was a war of expanding territories for the empire. The sultan and the Christian kings of Europe portrayed it as a religious holy war in order to attract large numbers of devout soldiers, but they knew it wasn't a war of religion (at the very least that wasn't the main goal). That is why these nations always change alliances even make alliances with the Muslim Turks if it was in the benefit of their empires.

Król polski powinien współpracować z Turcja i Francja. Turcja zajmuje południową wschodnia Europe z Wiedniem. Prusy nic nie znaczą i zostają przyłączone do Polski. Francja zajmuje zachodnia Europe.
Polish assistance for Vienna in 1683 was a last crusade in Europe. Polish army through whole XVII century was fought with Turkey and Tatars, who attacked southern borders of Rzeczpospolita. When we won last war, Turkey was directed on west of Europe. But when Sobieski has overcome them under Vienna, Turkey has ended expansion in Europe forever.

PIEKNE!! My surname Sobanski comes from the Slavic personal name Sobeslaw, meaning "usurp glory." it is one of the spelling variations of Sobieski. I was born in July by Ceasarian on the 16th which is around the time the Polish National Anthem was written in Italy where my father was born. I have dreams of saving Europe on a white horse, I hope one day I can help Europe be Europe again.
Piekny filmik, o sile husarii nie stanowila ilosc a jakosc. Niesamowite wyszkolenie zolnierzy + koni + taktyka ataku, niespotykana w owczesnej europie i swiecie, to byla sila tej formacji i calej Rzeczypospolitej.
@uioe This is so true, as a Pole born in the UK everything you say is true and scares me how many young Poles fall for this rubbish that they're pushing. Your comment gives me much hope that there are people awake to what they're pushing.
THESE WERE MEN!! THESE WERE NOT THE PUSLILLANIMOUS PATHETIC BETA MALES OF TODAY NOR THE REAL MEN OF OUR GREATEST GENERATION! GOD BLESS OUR FOREBEARS!!! GOD BLESS THEM ONE AND ALL!!
My mieliśmy ważniejszy problem.
@GothicKnight81 you are very wrong. Actually, Turkey was the only country after the 1772 which never . They never recognized the Partition of Poland. They always asked "Where is the ambassador of Lechistan (Poland)?" and never destroyed the building of the embassy, to which keys were given back.
I'm polish and I take great pride in it. I'm proud that my country had such a decisive victory in Vienna, however I'm also thankful it happened. I found out from my grandpa that one turkish soldier taken prisoner to Poland fell in love with a polish girl. She agreed to marry him under the condition he converts to christianity. He agreed. This man, a turk, married a polish catholic girl. This man was an ancestor of mine. If it wasn't for this battle I probably would never have been born.
Sobieski and Pilsudski two people who saved Europe. Two who gave freedom to many nations. Who knows what would happen if the Russians won the battle of Warsaw? A pity that are so poorly appreciated by history and by the public to forget: (
Great video about the battle and King Jan Sobieski's role in it. If it wasn't for their deeds on that day, we might be commenting on youtube in Turkish as muslims. Hell, there might never have been a youtube had the Ottoman Turks won that day. It is a crying shame how Poland was repaid for their valor by being partitioned by Russia, Prussia, and the Habsburgs in the late 1700's. "Veni, vidi, Deus vicit."
Clothes hussars looks like little poorly... In this movie:) In this time period in Poland, nobles were doing this for the splendor. They weren't doing this for the money, because to be a hussar, the guy would be really rich. When he's going to the war,he has to provide the food for everybody in this camp around fifty people are working for him. In this time period, all the buttons were golden or some had diamonds. The story goers , when the nobles went to the tavern for drink most of the time they don't carry money, they just ripp off the buttons and throw it to the guy. ,, here is for whatever we drank '' About famous hussars horse: ,, However, it was not only the physical characteristics of these steeds that determined their combat value and usefulness on the battlefield. They could become Hussar mounts only after undergoing many years of arduous training. The training was such that the animal was allowed to enter a narrow track, at each end of which there was a small circle. Horses have been trained for years to run along this path at maximum speed, spinning around its axis at the end of it. Thanks to this, during the battle, they could turn back immediately, almost standing still. More than once they have saved their master's life in this way. All this made Hussar horses extremely expensive, as they could even cost the equivalent of over 65 kilograms of silver! If we were looking for an analogy in the present day, it can be compared to the new Lamborghini. Let's imagine that every hussar had to have at least two or three mounts. This was due to their high mortality during the battle, as well as marches and related diseases and lack of forage. Well, as the classic used to say, you need three things to wage war: money, money, and more money. It is not surprising then that horses that could serve the hussars and other cavalry units were treated as special war material. The state itself was interested in them. From the times of the last Jagiellons, there was an embargo on the export of our horses abroad. Whoever broke them, threatening the security of the Republic of Poland, even faced the death penalty .
@bielanczyk and ottomans never gave consent for the partition of poland. it's the only country refused it, from 1790 until the end of World War I various Ottoman Sultans never accepted Poland's partition. You allies, the Habsburgs, were the first on partition.
I co by to dało?
This is a great clip eventhough the Olde English font is somewhat difficult to read while keeping up with the length and speed of the passing text. But with all of that being said it is still an awesome video and well worth watching.

But when Sobieski has overcome them under Vienna, Turkey has ended expansion in Europe forever.
bylem erasmus student we wroclawiu ,jestem turcji and i had never drunk sobieski vodka while i was in poland ,so it was my protest :)
Agree! Long live Turkish/Polish friendship & respect!
@TRschwarzesonne Turkey the only country which never accepted partitions of Poland :)
Slawa Polska!
@uioe This is so true, as a Pole born in the UK everything you say is true and scares me how many young Poles fall for this rubbish that they're pushing. Your comment gives me much hope that there are people awake to what they're pushing.
God Bless Poland. The land of my ancestors.
Thank you for the video.
Brilliantly done! Thank you for your efforts.
Glory to Poland from the UK
Saviours of Vienna!
We may once more need the heroism of the Polish as we battle the islamification of Europe
God Bless
WE ALWAYS KEPT OUR WORD......
september 11 ? are we about to have repeat of history once again ?
THESE WERE MEN!! THESE WERE NOT THE PUSLILLANIMOUS PATHETIC BETA MALES OF TODAY NOR THE REAL MEN OF OUR GREATEST GENERATION! GOD BLESS OUR FOREBEARS!!! GOD BLESS THEM ONE AND ALL!!
Very nice movie
My mieliśmy ważniejszy problem.
Sainthood for Sobieski?
@GothicKnight81 you are very wrong. Actually, Turkey was the only country after the 1772 which never . They never recognized the Partition of Poland. They always asked "Where is the ambassador of Lechistan (Poland)?" and never destroyed the building of the embassy, to which keys were given back.
Let's call a Holy Jihad on those that first call a Holy Jihad, that all people may life free and in peace.
A dear tribute to our Polish Brothers who saved Christian Europe from Islam!
so thanks this battle we had in Warsaw coffee bar just a year later
Respect from Turkey
Przepięknie zmontowany clip, ze wspaniałą muzyką. Jak brzmi nazwa i wykonawca tego utworu? Jest wspaniały.
A wy bracia Polacy oglądający video.. po prostu bądźcie patriotami :)
Pozdrowienia ze Śląska!
polish winged cavalry and polish napoleonic light cavalry are the best of cavalry in the history
A pity that are so poorly appreciated by history and by the public to forget: (
Turks did not drink the water poland Vistula horses recovered freedom
istanbul-türkiye selamlar....
In this movie:)
In this time period in Poland, nobles were doing this for the splendor.
They weren't doing this for the money, because to be a hussar, the guy would be really rich.
When he's going to the war,he has to provide the food for everybody in this camp around fifty people are working for him.
In this time period, all the buttons were golden or some had diamonds.
The story goers , when the nobles went to the tavern for drink most of the time they don't carry money, they just ripp off the buttons and throw it to the guy.
,, here is for whatever we drank ''
About famous hussars horse:
,, However, it was not only the physical characteristics of these steeds that determined their combat value and usefulness on the battlefield.
Cześć i Chwała Bohaterom!
Proud to b Polish
Taka chwała nigdy już nie nadejdzie
I co by to dało?
GOD BLESS, ALL ALLIED FORCES
& TRUE PATRIOTS!
Praise The LORD
and Pass The Ammunition!
DEO VINDICE!=GOD Will Vindicate!
Udany filmik!
Polska znowu uratowała Europę!
Genialnie dobierasz muzykę do swoich filmów Rogvist.
Amor patriae nostra lex
Slawa Wielkiej Polsce Chrzescijanskiej !
Venimus. Vidimus. Deus Vicit.
This is a great clip eventhough the Olde English font is somewhat difficult to read while keeping up with the length and speed of the passing text.
But with all of that being said it is still an awesome video and well worth watching.
HUSARIA . NASZA NAJWIĘKSZA DUMA.
