We fought against the US.that had cannons and repeating rifles with lances and bow and arrows and we were greatly out numbered. I think the hussars are magnificent and beautifully armed.I love the polish people for there freedom loving spirit.

The best cavalry Europe ever produced. My ancestors rode with King Sobieski at Vienna in 1683! In 1694 at the Battle of Hodów, 400 winged hussars stood up against the 40, 000 Crimean Tatars and defeated them. The Poles nicknamed the battle the ‘Polish Thermopylae’.
At Hodów there were 100 hussars and the main force were 300 pancerni cavalry. Let's not forget about them because they were like a workhorse of the polish-lithuania army but they are always in the shadow of fame of our winged hussars.

@Artur Robert You sholud learn a history. Read some books for example of Polish soldiers who - thanks to Hungarian help - were able to escape from Poland and form an army in France and later on in Great Britain.

Bless the brave Czech folk who despite war & communist fools retained their proud history. My father fought alongside a Czech soldier during WW2. I place flowers for every allied soldier remembering their supreme courage.

Then when the war was over France America and Britain betrayed Poland let Communist Russia occupy their country from 1945 till 1989. 1389.,Kosovo battle was a joint crusading venture and it was a victory because Ottomans were stoped and they lost sultan and his son ...We were bleeding together everafter doing the same job...on my mother's side I'm German Hungarian and that side came also to be border guard and they came from Austrian Netherlands to Panonia...Serbian Prince Lazars monks were active in christianisation of Lithuania and many old churches there are built in style of Moravian Serbia...so I have put two and two together and it does look that Turkish sources were right about wider Christian coalition at Kosovo in 1389. and it was repeated at Varna crusade and second crusading battle at Kosovo..that is when French Nottre Damme back in ,1389. celebrated victory of the Christians...not like now when they shelter jihadi fighters that chopped heads of Christian POWs in Bosnia...Different times...I have always loved Poles and Hungarian saved my life when 10 years old and on fishing trip with him...Uncle Zolly if you read this somewhere in New York one big thank you...

When the hussars stood in the field, they all screwed up, and the mercenaries in the armies of Europe at that time were guaranteed in their contracts that they would not fight the Polish hussars. A Polish hussar horse trained for combat cost the same as the whole village, and the sale of hussar horses was forbidden under penalty of death, because training such a horse cost a fortune. In addition, Poland in its tragic history, due to its geographical location, has more than once saved the buttocks of Western Europe, because if Poland had not stood in the way of many storms from the east, many invaders from the east would have stopped only at the Western Hybrids, and the British would have built shit, not empire, not to mention other nations. At a time when Poland was defending the eastern borders of Europe, they were building empires in peace. And if some bloated and fat Briton or someone else tells me that Poles are unwelcome in the islands or anywhere else in Europe, they will be hit in the face. We, Poles, are at home all over Europe. The Empire of Poland-Lithuania stretched east and west from Berlin to Moscow and from north to south from the Baltic to Black seas in the 16th century (aka 1500s) . circa 1688 King John Sobieski and his around 40,000 Polish Hussars defeated the Ottoman Turks who made Vienna in a state of siege, people starving, disease, no provisions could get through the walls around Vienna for quite some time . It was the closest that all of europe would come under a Muslim dynasty .
So how was Poland repaid by Europe ? In 1790 it was divided up between Prussia(biggest province of the Germanies) , Austria and Russia . Like all empires Poland's demise was due to many factors Poland would not become one entity or country again until just after ww1 .

W 1610 roku odbyła się bitwa. 2700 Polaków po całonocnym marszu robiło w pył 35000 przygotowanych do obrony Rosjan i Szwedów. Moskwa była nasza.

Nie jest to prawdą. Armię szwedzko-rosyjską nasze wojska zastały śpiące w namiotach i gdyby nie zwykły wiejski płot przeszkadzający husarii w rozwinięciu się do ataku, to nie byłoby żadnej bitwy, tylko rzeź niewiniątek. Mogę tylko dodać, że Husaria jechała całą noc i bez taborów (każdy husarz miał tylko jedną kopię, która po pierwszym ataku łamała się). a bitwa odbyła się pod Kłuszynem. Tylko, że tam był hetman polny Stanisław Żółkiewski ... :)

Polacy nie mogli wykorzystać zaskoczenia chociażby dlatego że podczas marszu siły nasze były rozciagniete. 200 piechoty i dwa falkonety przybyły pod Kłuszyn w trakcie trwania bitwy. A więc nagłe pojawienie się Polaków pod Kłuszynem nie miało absolutnie żadnego wpływu na przebieg bitwy. Wpływ na bitwę miało za to kilka innych czynników.
1. Doskonałe wyszkolenie i wysokie morale Polaków.
2. Niskie morale i kiepskie wyszkolenie przodków Putina.
3. Talent strategiczny Stanisława Żułkiewskiego, który tak potrafił manewrować Polakami że przeciwnik myslał że jest naszych znacznie więcej.
