Looking great mate. You should be able to make up a bit of a fillet fairing for the lower wing roots to match up to the fuselage alright I reckon. And for your lower wing leading edge skin issue around the cable and struts, could you do the small cutout to accept the strut and cable and have the access panel underneath? Maybe you might want to add a foot stiffener/support on the aft wing spar to make getting in to the cockpit easier? Very cool progress mate

Well I'll be! I'm glad to see you're feeling well enough to keep cracking on with the job mate! She's going to come out being an absolute looker. Have you started to give any thought on what instrumentation besides the basic T cluster you're going to install if any? Also, I am really curious as to where you will put the pitot tubes. have you any thoughts about that?

Very basic gauges, Airspeed, Altitude, VSI and engine gauges. Pitot Tube will run out to the wing strut and run externally up the strut on some nice brackets. Thanks

Hi Scott, enjoy your videos. I don't know if you stated it earlier, but which engine(s) are you looking at to power this? Why are you leaning towards that one? Thanks!

Sorry but not a Sopwith Camel, it may be a lookalike but Sopwith never made metal wings for a Camel. Should have wooden spars and ribs, also the airfoil section looks too thick and the wrong shape.

Jim, viewers of Scott’s channel come here to enjoy our aviation brother’s well developed building methods, his entertaining Ausie vernacular and excellent attitude. I don’t build, own or fly a ScaleWings replica biplane of any type but this one looks pretty cool. I sincerely hope brother Matthews continues finding satisfaction of accomplishment with this build. Seeing it fly, once finished, is something we all are looking forward to. If anyone doesn’t find value in this channel, I encourage them to look elsewhere. Maybe such viewers will find subjects appropriate to their interests. Posting a negative comment here, serves no useful purpose.
