It's so rare that people actually make videos about fabric covering airplanes. please make plenty videos, especially dealing with the odd spots. It feels like the entire aviation community refuses to teach people how to fabric cover, refuses to show videos teaching people how it's done. the little workshops that do basic covering is not good enough to deal with all the other situations.
I’m chilling with the elevator on the couch while you’re doing all the hard work! Love hearing all your thought processes. Keep it up 👍🏻
The turtle deck looks so professional and nice, it’s going to be a beautiful plane
Thanks for sharing all your experiences with this build. I'm doing and Airdrome Aeroplanes Dviii and all of what you're doing is helping me out a lot!
This stage of the build is making it feel like we are nearly there. Great series.👍
Looking great Scott, you'll feel a sense of achievement reaching this next step..👍
Yes it's been a bit cool, shall be good viewing to see your first section done
Ive never seen a build video for a fabric covered classic aircraft like the Camel. The build quality looks really nice. Does the foot peg have sufficient support for full body weight? The weld to the tube does not have a huge cross section. Should it have a diagonal support underneath?
You can use a heat gun to speed up the drying of the glue.
Can I recommend a couple of Voltaren tablets for that back? I sympathise!
Another very interesting video. As you mentioned, it's amazing how similar the covering method is to to the various methods used for covering RC models. What is the type of fabric you are using called. ? cheers Paul
