I’m finding comfort in Slow Living, despite the complicated situation here in Israel and the uncertainty of whether we can go on our trip to the US. I begin by organizing my hand-knitted socks in my mom’s vintage drawer. Inspired by all the fall decor in my feed, I attempt to make a pumpkin-shaped sourdough bread. I spend a lot of time weaving in yarn ends and crocheting the scallop edging around my Granny Stripe Shawl. To finish, I’ll show you how I make a homemade tallow balm. Thank you so much! Your granny stripe shawls are beautiful and I'm having a lot of fun working on mine - 8 rows in now and am doing a 8 row repeat. I wonder if you would like to know that in English, we pronounce the 'et' at the end of crochet as a 'long 'a'', and don't sound out the 't' at the end at all? In other words, it's a French pronunciation. On the other hand, feel completely free to pronounce it whichever way you like! I'm hoping you are able to leave on your trip and that you have a safe and wonderful time away.
