I loved your video! I am glad to see that you are part of a group of friends who get together to make beautiful pieces. I also belong to a group of crocheters, knitters and sewers. We make pieces for babies, children and needy elderly people. We meet once a week and for three hours it is just "us", our threads, wool and needles, as well as conversations, exchange of ideas, food and drinks. We feel very, very good. Ooooo I was so excited when I saw you put out a new Podcast ! I am writing down in my notebook the English word for Knitting/Crochet and then in the next column the Hebrew word for that and the Hebrew letters. I do hope you will continue to share your language with us all. The American way to say cast on for crochet is “ chain, so chain 120 stitches, which is your starting chain, of course when you crochet in a ring it would just be to form a ring and chain 4. I hope this helps and not confuses you more 😊You are a very Dear Kindered Spirit to me and I am so happy and drained to your quiet ways as I too love to be home with my things and have always done some type of hand work. I love the shape of the shawl. I find they fall off my shoulders and years ago I had a pattern for one that was a V shape that hung so well but couldn't find it since. I think your design is really unique.
I purchased your granny stripe shawl pattern and absolutely LOVE 💗 the pattern! I do not like crocheted triangular shawls so this pattern is a breath of fresh air. I am going to make another in the scrappy form, but I started with a very soft blush pink fingering with a little halo for a more dressy shawl and I am loving it! I also was curious as to how much yarn it takes- so far I am half way through the pattern and I have almost used 500 yards, so this will easily take a thousand yards and maybe a little more. I’ll try to send a picture when I’m finished. Have a lovely time on your vacation! I am hoping when you read this, you are on your way to the US!
Maybe try Mother Knitter in New Jersey for the magazine carrying the Fluer cardigan. I sincerely hope you are able to travel and find some peace and distraction at least for a short time. You may, however, be required to purchase yarn, even for another smaller project, in order to purchase the magazine.

QUESTION on the granny shawl pattern I have 61 clusters at end of row 8. My understanding of row 9 is do row 4 which reads as cluster count stays the same. How do I end up woth 64 clusters after step 9? I need help please. Thank you. ;) if any9ne can explain i would appreciate it.

Even if it was for a few minutes, to actually see you in person, would be so wonderful. I'm too old to travel to Israel, but I would have loved to be able to do that. Moran, I have to tell you that I’m a bit worried about you and your family coming to New England. The majority of the states in this region are Progressive and people can be hostile toward Israel. None of the rhetoric makes logical sense, but people believe it nonetheless. The election is also affecting this dynamic. I hope that I haven’t crossed a boundary, but it comes from love and respect.💗💗

In fact, for the families same I would not come to the US at this point. I’m concerned for their safety as we have had so much violence. I think casting on in Crochet is often your foundation chain.
