@@willkoestner4159 Because they harm the economy as a whole. There is a reason every single generation of Americans live worse then the generation before them. We went from the 1960's 70's 80's and 90's when the average American( even with no education) owned a house and 2 vehicles, and could afford to raise a family on one income. Now 24% of Americans own homes, immigration has pretty much doubled our population, and continues to increase it further. Economists pretend that more bodies to tax means more taxes, but the opposite is actually true. The top 5% of earners pay 90% of taxes anyhow. Our population density is starting to really work against us. If we keep that door open we will be a 3rd world country in no time. I know that the united states of America is kind of an insecure country that uses this massive propaganda machine named Hollywood to hide its flaws, but at some point we're going to worry about you just like we worry about the middle east. By that I don't mean we'll send troops against you guys. I'm talking about Genuinely worrying. Like "welp, there goes another government in Maghreb" or "Looks like USA has now reached 2 people under minimum wage out of 3". Obviously we have our own problems too, but if we can peak at our neighbours' issues, we're mostly doing fine.

I miss concerts and getting to see this band live. I used to live in St. Louis, and they'd come just about every year. Always put on a hell of show, with a great eclectic group of fans. We come from all walks of life, and but join together to enjoy an evening of punk, drink, and human existence. This band is f*ng amazing, and I hope we're able to beat this f*ng disease soon, for the sake of those directly suffering, and indirectly suffering. And yes, not going to bands and socializing with other humans is a form of suffering. Rock on, man! this band is so underrated. Also thank you for this wonderful song. My grandmother is from the Philippines and met my grandpa during the war. I can't imagine what it was like to adapt to a completely different culture, as I'm so far removed from that. My mother's grandmother's mother was off the boats from England, and we've traced some family from Scotland as well. This is truly the meeting and melding of many different cultures, and it's wonderful to embrace them all.
I moved from West Oakland to San Diego and then off to Amsterdam after college. Meeting Eugene and watching this band definitely had a huge impact on my life. As much as any books or poetry.🤷♂️

This song is and always will be my inspiration. I'm a white dude born in America. It reminds me of the challenges I haven't faced and to be grateful for it and to be compassionate and do all that I can for those who do have to face it. When I feel my troubles are deep, it reminds me of my family from years ago and families in the present. We all have so much strength and can do so much good. We just have to do it and help those who need it.

You have no idea whats happening in Ukraine. Zelensky is a conman who jails his political opponents, and got rid of all free press long ago. Its all propaganda. Im sure that 40 billion we are handing them a lot is going to end up in his pocket. The reason we are fighting for Ukraine is because that is where our politicians do their money laundering, and NATO provoked Russia into attacking. Grow up.
Most people in America these days don't remember that our ancestors were immigrants. My fathers family was oppressed in Europe for there religion, and my mothers family was literally going to starve to death in Ireland. We are a nation of immigrants.

@@willkoestner4159 Cause the elite are really good at pitting the working class against itself by convincing them that their lives suck because of other poor people just trying to survive the game instead of the damn parasites that rigged it to begin with
@@willkoestner4159 Because they harm the economy as a whole. Its especially problematic because many of the immigrants come from cultures that overpopulate. Its devastating from an environmental standpoint as well. Anyone that is pro immigration but still pretends to care about climate change is hypocrite of the worst kind.
@@martineshamzin7535 that's because of economic policy. Milton Friedman and Reaganomics. Milton Friedmans aim was to take power and money from the workers to the rich. Reagan took his advice

But what he says is lies. Immigrants are really not doing this or any country any favors. More immigrants seem to lead to lower quality of life.

This song gives me goosebumps it's so uplifting when most of the stuff you hear about immigration is negative. I wish everyone could see it.
Liberals love immigrants. They hope to keep being elected by them, which is why they are trading our economic security in for an open border.
In these weeks when we can't know the outcome of Putin's grinding invasion of the Ukraine I'm glad for Eugene's fierce resistance and vision.

All I understand is "Gogol Bordello" and "THE BEST!!!" and I agree.
Didn't this video used to start with the FDR quote?
“Remember, remember always, that all of us, and you and I especially, are descended from immigrants and revolutionists.”
― Franklin D. Roosevelt
+Katheryn Saunders obama got it removed like everyone rights :P
+zxzxzxr He would have, but Bush beat him to it.
I had no idea it was President Obama who stripped everyone's rights to privacy and allowed government agents to monitor the cellphones and internet useage of any and all Americans at will and without warrants.....I could have sworn that was EX-PRESIDENT BUSH who did that shit and oh so much more to strip away the rights of the American people with the Homeland Security Act his administration hustled right through Congress in the aftermath of 9/11....I had no idea President Obama had anything at all to do with the Homeland Security Act. I thought he was all about trying to hook everyone up with healthcare so people who work shit jobs that don't offer health insurance can also go to a doctor when they're ill or injured without having to worry about incurring a bill so humongous their goddamn grandkids will still be making monthly payments on it 20 years after they're dead.
I think you have your Presidents mixed up, sweetie. It's okay though, watching Faux News will do that to you. (and by "do that" I mean "make you even stupider than you would have to be to be watching that fucking garbage in the first place")
lol love your pic and I agree. "Were coming rougher every time!"
+Liberty Ncognito As a European, I'm amazed that USA doesn't give healthcare to everyone. Health is probably one of the foundations of a healthy country along with education, low poverty rates and employment.
I've been watching this music video for years and I'm just now noticing that the individuals highlighted are all in the band. Hits just a tad harder now
The first time I heard this song I thought he was saying "we coming Raza", I listen to Gogol every morning before work to pump me up with energy.
My fathers parents came to America from Poland, my Mothers From Ireland, both struggled As nd worked their asses off to give my parents the ability to give me the life I have, Keep Coming!

First time I heard this song I cried with pride. My parents crossed 3 times from Guatemala into America. Actually most of my family did.. some didn't make it. My poor grandmother, 69 years old died in the border of Tijuana... she tried. May she be resting in peace.
I love you GB!

New US "national" anthem.
This video chokes me up every time.
Actually USA was built by immigarnts. who slaughtered native Americans, put survivors in reserves and now they say they don't like immigrants :)
"New"?
US internation anthem 🖤
US should get back to "E Pluribus Unum" instead of "In God We Trust." So much more honest and uplifting.
I think it would make a great national anthem. It certainly sums up the American spirit. But won't that mean we have to listen to Fergie sing it at basketball games? I shudder...
This whole album is such a gem. Shame it's not on Spotify!
My family were polish jew immigrants that were brought over after being imprisoned in a death camp during ww1, my family certainly understands how rough it can be... unfortunately alot of the newer family has lost touch with our tradtions and our heritage, I definitely will not. I am Mexican and i'm sure as hell that I don't hate Guatemalans nor any other person on this amazing planet. We're all one, it doesn't matter the color of the skin, the language you speak or the God you pray to. We're alive and for me, that's all that matters.
I know there's so much to appreciate about this song... the lyrics, the video, the cool music... but still, I can just focus on the ucranian's massive moustache

With all that is happening in Ukraine, listening to this song made tear up a bit. It was unexpected.

And the only natives your country had got fucking shafted. And then treated badly in American fiction for a long time. "Indians" > Cowboys.

@@VidyaAntics Every country is, on some level. I live in Belgium, and it aways makes me laugh when people act like theyre "pure" Belgians, knowing how many nationalities could be present in a 16th-century army. The immigration / emigration phenomenon is amazing! We get access to so much information, straight from native individuals from a certain culture, we meet awesome people with great stories and lessons, and this inter-human exchange is priceless! Eugene, you awesome man, and those great people playing alongside you, keep up the gypsy punk! :D
Sadly, it’s destroying all cultures by blending them together. Now, there’s very few pure cultures unless you go to Africa or S America.
I would trade that "information" for a better economy and more housing if they all left.
