I had the xforce. Upgraded to the Bluetooth controller. Trust me. Worth every penny. You set it an forget it. You don't have to open the app everytime you get into your car. It makes a big difference and you fine tune it to your liking. Plus, you can connect it to your obd2 and let it be controlled by parameters you set. For example, if you go over a certain rpm, speed, or throttle input, it'll open wider to a preset amount that you set. I had mine set at 24% open and 100% open if I went over 3400rpms, 90%throttle input, or over 90mph. It was the perfect setup for me
Always wanted the xforce but I didn't want to spend the extra $500 so I went with MBRP which isn't super loud and has a deeper tone, but once I got a catted downpipe with it, it was loud, sounded more like a tractor, and drone was unbearable. But after I got the Vibrant 17950 Resonator welded on to my catback, love the way it sounds and to me its the best sound. Not loud but loud when you floor it, little to no drone, and deep tone. A route I can recommend going if someone doesnt want to spend the money on a xforce but wants a catback and plans on getting a dp.
Sounds like it's working out for you! Big reason I didn't want to go with any catback is having to either deal with it if i didn't like it or go back and add more mufflers and a bunch of trial and error
I would like to have the xforce valve open and close. But I have issues with any valve openers. In the long run they will get stuck and you will never get to fix it unless you buy a new one.
I love this setup. Had this exact combo for about a year now and its honestly amazing. Convenient for when you're near a cop and sounds amazing during spirited driving. Especially with a tune, it makes the car slightly louder since the engine is working a little harder. Drone is rare. Had the same fitment problem but only spent 25 bucks to get it cut and welded together. Worth the money!
Great video, really helpful. I bought a stage 2 golf R that came with an xforce downpipe + stock exhuast combo and its very loud. Id love the option to have quieter cold starts and less drone at low RPM though. Those Xforce cat backs are pretty expensive here in aus but this video has made me strongly consider it.
I had this exact setup but it was a cheap cutout valve and unfortunately it leaked sound and air when closed. This meant that when it was open it was all good no problem straight piped, but when you closed it just didn’t close properly at all
Did the CTS downpipe left you with a CEL? (If yes, you think a 200 cell dp would give it too) I was thinking of using this combo and was wondering if the difference in diameter was a big problem
Hello guys, picking up my 2019 gti perf. this weekend, has anyone found any informative material on akrap cat back? Sounds best to me on videos however unsure how reliable these are and wanted some first hand accounts, appreciate the help : )
great video, i have an XForce exhaust on my mk7 R. This is not a plug for my channel but if you are curious how it sounds on a golf R I have a few UA-cam shorts uploaded on my channel. but I do agree it is a fantastic exhaust.
All good to plug your channel; love support fellow MK7s & the burble sounds amazing, I'm just sad for Unitronic we don't have a toggle for burbles on or off with sport mode; it's either all on or all off, so I have to go with all off :/
@@LucasHuang interesting because when I had the burbles done I only got them when I had the car’s transmission in sport mode. I noticed in one of your videos a highway sign that said Newark so if you want you can try Drive Auto Works on route 22. that’s where I go to get literally everything done.
Great video especially bringing to light the fitment of different aftermarket parts. Not sure if I want to mess up MY ultimate sound with my Neuspeed catback. I do like the valves though. Keep up the good vids.
armytrix any day, xforce sounds terrible. Personally I would recommend a scorpion system as its quite easily the best sounding one. Armytrix is a good option though.

that's wicked AF
this is the exhaust I've settled on too... can't wait to slap in on my GTI one day... come on XRP LFG!.
Crap you'll be waiting forever with those 2. Condolences
@@brettleonard8602 ha no doubt. I think XRP in the next 12 months will hit 5 bucks easy. LFG is for let's fucking go
Your videos are the best gti videos

I have the exact same setup on my gti! It was super loud and the tone is perfect now with the resonator. Mbrp is very slept on
where was the vibrant resonator added?

Great vid. Is there a way to map the amount the valves open to the different driving modes? Such as eco, sport, normal ect.
Should have eliminated the 2.5" factory connections to a full 3"
Buying my GTI in a few days, is the XForce worth it?
So where did u cut the exhaust to get the perfect length since the downpipe is 3.5 inches?
Wouldn’t the back pressure from the valve being fully closed/open affect the tune?
🤔

Damn... I learned a while ago buy it nice or buy it twice 😖
at least that makes me feel better when I click place order

That 2.5" OEM clamp, can it be replaced by a 3" one so that the whole system remains 3" all the way?
So many people hate xforce here in Australia… I love mine though!
Give me the music 🎶 from the awesome VR6 engine! Sorry, but it sounds like crap!

xforce sounds terrible! scorpion systems from the uk is by far the best and its not even close.
Do you have any second thoughts? Are you still happy with it?
Mk7's sound crappy with full exhausts.. I stuck to a DP only.
Is the valves open sound with a tune included or is it just the downpipe and exhaust?
YOOOO first time I’ve seen someone use one of vids! Great video dude!!
Here in aus, everyone runs the invidia r400 for their gti or r. Way better than xforce and everybody here in aus agrees.
don’t know where you’re getting that from, every gti or r with a catback i’ve seen here have all been x force😹
I have a GTI as well
Can’t wait to spin the block

Will the power hookup for valve system still work if i have a helix subwoofer in trunk already?
it's through a 12v socket
Why can’t I find one for a MK7 GTI with a Varex muffler on it? Anyone see one?
xforceusa.com/products/esvw10vkcs/
After tune i had to take off the first xforce muffler and set a straight pipe, so much better. Do recommend
Straight pipe on the GTI sounds like ass.

I was surprised with aftermarket fitments too! I thought they'd be within limits of OEM but good to know now.
Thanks for supporting!
