LU was like a live action wrestling anime. I enjoyed it whenever I watched it, and it introduced me to Ricochet. I also enjoyed seeing guys like Chavo, Konnan, and Johnny Mundo (I grew up watching those guys) doing their thing as well.
Great work on the video, and as someone who worked on the show from the beginning to the end, you basically nailed it all. The Jake Strong bit was not popular among most of us, but there were some politics involved there. All in all, it was a ton of fun and the vignettes were legendary. Nice job

I really wish LU Season 5 was made. They had a strong story going into it with Dario Cueto being resurrected and his dad Antonio alongside Vampiro, his new disciple Australian Suicide and LU Champion Jake Strong all joining up and taking orders from The Lord Stu Bennett. Lucha should come back with new wrestlers every season. You vacate the title at the end of the season. That way you format the show as such. Previous champion if they return gets a title match next season in the first title card. Warfare match crowns number one contender to face previous champion. You sign wrestlers to a per season run. If they opt not to return you've built in the per season deal anyway. So they're free to go off. Have some language in there that Lucha has to know if you're signing somewhere else and they can then give a competitive option to sign you again for their next season. With new wrestlers every season signing and leaving you keep things fresh. You find who works best try to keep them but again always having that out each season makes for some interesting stories.
This was fun, it brought something to pro wrestling. It made it feel real again. Like old-school TNA. That brought a lot of the guys from WCW and from WWE who got dissatisfied with how the WWE was handling them. Jeff Jarret, Christian, Sting, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Abyss, Sabu and even R Truth before he was R Truth in WWE was a title holder.
My favorite was Mil and it just seemed like after the second season they just didn't do much with him. I also think a lot of what her thin was because they didn't do anything outside that studio. I mean they could have easily done a small 30 city tour and working Auditorium some stuff the same size is that studio or a little bigger and probably would have packed it in and I think that would have also help them out financially. I really enjoyed Lucha Underground but I have to admit I never did finish season 4 because a lot of the shit got repetitive and it just seemed like there was handful or so of wrestlers that you kept seeing all the damn time when they had a pretty vast roster
Was in attendance for all the seasons of LU and from day 1 of season 4 did not like the feeling absolutely hated the new temple. They filmed the 4th season in 4 weekends so rushed.
Imagine if lucha underground returns and pull a aew and impact invasion but this time as moxley as the heel lucha underground champion vs heel omega aew and swan impact champion
Lucha Underground was a great concept but, too many hands in the cookie jar (It being on ElRay Network didn’t help they should’ve tried to get a deal with a secondary cable Company like WGN Chicago (The first two seasons are actually outstanding some of it was a little to out there but, there was a lot taken from Wrestling Society X) Season 3 was so/so Season 4 was a mess (You forgot to mention the Lucha Underground vs Impact live Twitch show) Which was very interesting this started a relationship between Triple A & Impact Wrestling (I wouldn’t say Lucha Underground is dead AEW is Lucha Underground 2.0 (but, with a clueless money mark booking the Company) There’s also sellers on Ebay selling Lucha Underground Blu-ray box set (yeah they are HD rips onto blu-rays but, it’s better then nothing (Been tempted to buy the set over the last couple of years) Great video
Never really went to waste. Just that each season, ironically enough, became less-thrilling than the previous 1. But they were ALL 'THRILLING', nonetheless!!!
This promotion & product were the only ones in the last 16 years to be able to hook me to the point of tuning in regularly!! Not EVERY SINGLE week... but often enough! And that's saying something in my case! Believe me. By far, the most UNIQUE pro wrestling product of the 2010's!! Aspects of their TV presentation-- as well as aspects of the promotion's general style-- influenced a couple to a few other companies since their (L.U.'s) debut, too!

Lucha underground got me back into wrestling fucking loved that shit as a teen
You hit 200k. Congrats dude
Yes
I'm binge watching this on tubi, on season 4 and was pretty good.
LU was dope i used to love watching it
🎉congrats on 200K!🎉
yes been waiting on this
Congrats on 200k! 🥳
They filmed the 4th season in 4 weekends so rushed.
congrats on 200k!
Season 4 had the Budget cut fiercely, hence the new Set and scaled back Roster.
Some returned just to be killed off- no joke
Season 4 still ROCKED!!!
Show had so much promise!!
Sad to see it go to waste then gone for good.
Never really went to waste. Just that each season, ironically enough, became less-thrilling than the previous 1. But they were ALL 'THRILLING', nonetheless!!!
Lucha underground was amazing
Lucha underground is complete and free on tubi! You are all welcome! Didn't see anyone comment this!
Never watched it before but now I’m starting from the beginning and I’m very excited
yo im watching rn and you are at 200k!
This looks incredible! Why can't wwe be as innovative as this.
11:10 perfect timing when you said "aka" it cuts to a Star Wars Squadron ad. I was like "Damn! I didn't know Jake Hagar was Star Wars too!"
How much was that Cameo?
Just subbed, I've been enjoying your videos
Finally your covering Lucha Underground
Lucha underground took me back to the days of wrestling society x
Ricochet and Morrison put this show on the map
MUNDO, man!! 'MUUUNDOOOO'!!!✊💪☝️🤙😎
