Twitch doesn't care, the only time they act is when advertisers press the issue
yup....the degeneracy of the consumer isn't exactly boycotting this activity. be the change you want to see fellas.
When advertisers are more moral than Twitch/amazon you know we're in hell :D
@@sooperd00p IKR i don"t even watch twitch they don't get a cent from me
Yep, this is only because advertisers fall into two camps now; "woke" and "conservative", there is no in-between and the one issue they both agree on is they hate sex sells. Both are morons. The only positive we get out of this is no more thots; The negative however is far out scaling as in the long run this will damage Twitch's income and could lead to Amazon reconsidering Twitch's importance to their bottom line. Yes, we're cheering in the short term, but long term there will be consequences.
And advertisers only care cause they fear 1 complainer=100 customers
Twitch gets their occasional spurt of "Post-nut clarity" 😂
It's called twitch for a reason; their clarity pretty much lasts as long as one.
Then they remember how much traffic and donations these channels generate and decide "Ehhh, maybe just a little longer..."

All those "streamers" just peddle their p*rn. Twitch did ban direct links on their site, but it is difficult to monitor individual links that is just another link to their p*rn site. It might help if they bring the hammer down on the worst offenders.
This. I don’t know if it will entirely solve the problem, but it would help.
I am pretty sure you can't link porn without having problem with twitch.
I don't see why onlyfan is a pass
This is like trying to make murder illegal without making murder illegal, like:
"you can't stab people, you can't put fire on people, you can't push people from great heights, you can't shoot people...". And all this can easily just be solved by just saying "you can't kill people".
Twitch could just make a rule to ban any suggestive themed streams and there would be no loop holes around that, and if they're not doing that is because it's interesting for them to keep it but at the same time they can't show themselves in favor of that.
It would be up to Twitch's own interpretation of "suggestive themed", which would still leave TONS of loop holes.
They have to be specific or the only justification for banning anything would just be “we say this is against our policy, the end” and then the controversy and inconsistency would be as bad or worse than it is now
@@Wildslayer50 Loopholes don’t matter if you actually stick to your guns and ban people. Saying fuck around and find out can be even more effective when there isn’t a clear line in the sand. It makes people afraid to push the boundaries in the first place if they don’t know where the line is.
@@gmoney9469 True. Steam has ToS that talks/writes it like an average human would understand. Like IIRC "..inappropriate and.. use common sense" something. Also, has some humans to manually ban(or something) people.
There are many "ass" cams but I don't think it's that many for a team who will work almost everyday to get it out of hand. And they'll just send something like "This is against ToS or Community guidelines, specifically inappropriate &/or lack common sense"
tbf though, you'll have those people that view "suggestive themes" as "This woman has big boobs and isn't wearing a turtle neck!" Especially in an age of games being more mature and outwardly "suggestive" at times, it needs to be more specific on streamer actions. Hell, even outside of just some women, certain games would just be banned on twitch. LIke no one would ever be able to play games like cyberpunk again, you'll have to be careful looting armor in skyrim, can't play Baldur's gate anymore either.
That's part of the issue with flat out "no suggestive themes" on a platform with content creation, it's not nearly as black and white as not killing people. I know you said themes, but these are still very easy ways to get loopholes and unfair bans. Not to mention how others said, having an unspecific policy then banning without giving good explanation could end up being worse for them than just leaving it
I remember Pornhub's parent company announcing they would launch a games streaming platform to compete against Twitch. It's sad to see that idea never got off the ground

@erfantari1892 there's definitely an argument to be made about punishing the people playing jump rope with the line between Safe and Rule-Breaking. That said, Asmon is right.
Twitch also needs to be harder on all of the Rule-Breakers. It could be said that Twitch is just 'Shifting the Goalposts' by only fixing the rules themselves and not also punishing the rule breakers. We already punish people for breaking the Law. Why should this be any different?
Nothing new tho
All companies do this to see how much more they can get

The issue with Twitch and their 'problem' is that the 'problem' also makes money. Changing the rules is dragging out the inevitable. Next state twitch will ban creators who focus on sexual content and that twitch is will decide what is considered sexual.
Twitch going back and forth on this puts them in the media though, and that's why they do it.

doesn't make sense to ban the people pulling in the big bucks
plus the "new" rules already existed, they just don't enforce them cause the camgirls are what's pulling the money
"Prolonged"
So basically they'll still do it, but back at Twitch 2018 levels of "Oopsy!" for several seconds.
Who could have thought that the lack of an actual punishment wouldn't encourage any sort of visible change. . .
Is funny how he found the cameras so quick... I wonder how
because, this took up 80% of the website.
women: "Stop objectfying us!"
Twitch: "Very well, we'll stop all of you."
women: " :O "
🤣the backfire
Replace all of Twitch’s TOS with one simple test: Would you sit down and watch this stream with your parents (or whoever raised you)?
Yes: Pass
No: Ban
Done ✅
The last 5 seconds really made a lotta sense
Twitch should ban streamers from linking onlyfans. I imagine that would slightly reduce the incentive.
Thank God but let's see if it lasts
They're just gonna start walking back and forth past the camera up close now 😂
I do agree with Asmon on this. I do think Twitch needs to be upfront with those streamers and be like "We both know what was being done and what the intention was. It needs to stop or you are done/gone". Problem is Twitch most likely will never do something like that because there could be legal stuff that Twitch doesn't want to deal with. Also, Twitch knows there is money in those streamers and so they leave those small cracks to allow it.
Because if they overlook a few, everyone will police each other and cause a whole mess
I have to admit the green screen clothing was rather clever.
Lap camera coming up in April!
"Will not be allowed"
Ahh yeah, totally not allowed with those 2 day bans 🤣
"prolonged period of time" being the key to the new meta... watch
The problem is they make money from the problem, if they fix the problem the have a money.
they do need to start banning these types of streamers. they are constantly testing boundaries because they know there is 0 risk. If there was a threat of being banned they might think twice about doing this sort of stuff.
The real problem is that Twitch has become an advertisement platform for OF. The gaming market share has slipped out of their grasp and now they’re just wholly dependent on the coomer traffic. Remove the coomers, and remove a significant source of the Twitch userbase. I don’t even watch Asmon on Twitch any more because watching the UA-cam VODs is a much more pleasant experience.
I find hit hilarious the arms race between these girls and Twitch. Makes my day every time
This Meta lasted so long I thought Twitch had just accepted it.
What goes up, must come down. Then up. Then down. Up and down...
