There is no pussy mode
No one would actually care for a PvE overwatch game if it released without being different than what OW PvE is now, It would be boring (like OW 2 PvE they showcased years ago) if not stale very quickly, without changing the whole direction or major fundamentals of the game. By that point it would be something more akin to borderlands or destiny not current OW.
OW excitement for PvE was due to its character and world being a good basis for many great PvE games, looter shooters, roguelikes, horde shooters, like they fucked up so hard not making something new, instead OW PvE even in theory would just be very repetitive missions that get stale quick. There are so many better PvE FPS alternatives that making OW essentially 1:1 but with PvE where all you do is shoot afk bots, idk it is a shit idea when you think about it.

I’m being matchmaking is the overwatch killer if France baking is working right or when it works right when you could actually jump into a match whether ranked or un ranked whether it was open or or rolls and you would get a decent team against a decent team overwatch is a lot of fun then it comes down to the skill of the players when you jump into a match and there’s a bunch of noobs and there’s a couple 23 good guys on the other team you just get decimated and it’s not any fun at all Somebody said something to me the other day I’m playing and I’m like tank what the fuck are you doing way over there? The objective is over here and somebody else in the chat said I think that tank is really new so whatever it’s all good but I don’t have that patience. You’re playing a game that’s team oriented and you cannot run really good guy can’t take on another team that’s really good they will just get focused five on 15 on one you know every time And I’m not saying I’m really good but I’m passing. I’m decent on the characters I choose to play and I at least understand all the objectives and the tricks behind them. Like pushing the car there’s no reason to push out in front of the car there’s no reason to leave the group as long as the car is moving that’s all you need to worry about keep that car moving they have to push past the car come to you and get focused, so why do players push past the car? What was just a lack of you know Strategy for thought they don’t understand and they don’t listen. If you try to explain it they probably picked their character because they thought it was cool because it was the right one for the circumstance and then a shooter where there are counters for every character pretty much you gotta pick the character to counter you know the other team, the counter, somebody on the other team, whoever said it right if that game has real PE with those heroes to pick people will be playing it because that’s another thing blizzard screwed up with overwatch is the PE aspect they did not deliver the thing they promised us way back when

Honestly if they speed it up a little bit they might have something, the genra does fit a comic universe well because of how many interesting characters Marvel have which they could add.
And I'm not against paid unlocks for those characters/skins along as its all earnable in game too (in a realistic timeframe)
I mean DC tried it with the MOBA genre and that lasted all of like 6 months before Warner shut the servers down for not instantly making them all the money in the world. This seems like a similar thing to me, jumping on a trend that's already way past it's initial popularity and then somehow hoping it makes them all of the money. If it doesn't (which it won't), I expect it to have the plug pulled within a year.

@@DeepStone-6 they were both in development for a long time before anyone knew what each others game looks like. Overwatch started out as one game, but eventually change to become a different game with a lot of the ideas from the previous one. What happened with Paladins is basically the same, but the drastic changes happened more than once before being shown to the public. Paladins in beta went through ANOTHER phase where the game needs to have more changes similar to Overwatch because the current game wasn't working. Overwatch seems to be making more changes to become more like Paladins but in a much later time. Eventually, you will see that both games will mature to be somehere in the middle of MOBA and FPS instead of being on the extreme end of them. I won't be surprise if the devs makes Paladins 2, but it's actually needed unlike Overwatch 2.
That portal was really cool, though.
I do like that they're willing to grab some relative unknowns to fill out the roster, it gives me hope that they're focusing on giving each hero a gameplay identity first, then attaching a character to that design afterwards.
Pretty much, I’m glad they added Luna Snow and Magik in the roster. Makes me hopeful for more original characters from like Marvel Future Fight or Contest of Champions.

If they put in a system like the original OW lootboxes, it's fine. Give people the ability to earn things from playing the game and still have the option for the whales to blow their money to get it faster. Probably won't happen though.

@@wonderofu1603 depends on how it's handled. Naraka Bladepoint was also from them. The game is good, it's relatively easy to unlock heroes, I believe it takes a lot less time than in Apex, and the only microtransactions were Cosmetics, either direct purchase or hidden under lootboxes, of which you can unlock with ingame farmable currency.

Paperweight combat. Weapons need more weight and impact. Game looks half fun though, but weapons need to have a punch like HD2
The characters, the setting, the lore, everything about Overwatch was perfect, i was super excited for the PvE mode because i just wanted to know more about the Overwatch universe and the characters. Zenyatta was my favorite character. I have the Overwatch concept art book on my shelf, It's just a shame that Blizzard is Blizzard.
When i look at the games menu now, i just feel bitter about it because they've turned something great into a monetization sh!t pile of an a empty husk.
It's criminal how interested I was by the premise of the OW lore, and how I can perfectly remember losing interest over time because all we would get was very small short stories every several months. I left after a year and apparently made the right choice since they couldn't even keep their promise of finally having a consistent PvE experience in the sequel.
@@tomayto70 The cinematics was amazing, the voice actors was great. The art team was great too. though the game started to become too full with joke skins.
The story was amazing too but like many, the guy who wrote most of the story, left. I was looking forward to seeing more about the characters with PvE missions, there was so much they could do. I had lost interest in the PvP, at least only having PvP, its nice to mix it up sometimes. The developers kept trying to rebalance the game to keep it interesting which made it lose some of its charm, especially when they balanced it around Overwatch League.
Its ultimately more profitable to sell skins, since it takes like 1-2 people a few hours, instead of a whole team to create levels, effects, textures, scripted events, voice acting and so on, it's Blizzards fault but its also just as much the players who buy the skins.
@@ricky_pigeonTrue, brain-dead consumers. My biggest mistake was paying for the early access of Overwatch 2. I really loved Overwatch 1, so I thought, why not support Blizzard to create a better game? But boy, after witnessing what the game became, I never spent a single dollar on it. It was clear to me that the game was ruined forever, so I left and never looked back-for now.

@@SSoul0 Iron Man is clearly taking direct inspiration from Avengers: Infinity War. Black Panther is the only one that *kinda* looks like he does in the new Ultimate comics, but they're more likely pulling inspiration from the Marvel Knights run.
It's literally Marvel Overwatch and they're not even hiding it. The UI, the presentation, even the health bars and the hit detection sounds.
The only difference being that this game is third person and OW is first person.

If Blizzord were actually trying this could have been overwatch coop / pve. Imagine hero combos like Winston throwing tracer to deliver a pulsebomb at a high up target or kiriko and genji do some ff7 rebirth style synergy attack and shit like that.
They're setting up for Battleworld, which will come about in the new Deadpool movie. Basically, in the comics the Multiverse collapses and a bunch of different worlds are mashed into one, where constant battles are happening between all the Marvel characters.

It's more like Paladins than Overwatch. Can't put my finger as to why.
The particle effects, the lighting and shading, the crystal aesthetics.
because the characters all seem OP and mostly individualistic. Which is why it wont be any good after an initial casual phase.
@@gilbertboot572thats what Blizzard tried to do with OW 2, making every heroe more "individualistic"... Wich they completely failed to do and theres people criticizing it till this day so...

@@pixavier9746 the last update for overwatch made the game slightly less individualistic.
It’s currently does a better mix in that regard than ow1.
@@C-R. You missed my point, and Blizzard's point too... Part of the reason why 5v5 exists is because they wanted to make the Game *more* individualistic... They somehow ended making the game even more teamdependant, wich is annoying 80% of the time because expecting a good coordination of complete randoms every match is a nonsense.
The gaming industry is in such a strange place where on one hand games aren’t delivering but also gamer expectations are insanely high.
