J Cheek lol no he won't. Those who know about him but he's not even close to mainstream. He's not talked about in circles. I agree with you tho in the sense of he's one of the greats. However, to be remembered in that fashion means you broke into the scene and mast people know about you. Joe hasn't reached that. When he dies many people will ask who he is. Joe is a great guitarist amongst many many many greats. But as one of the top greats? lol not even close.
@@Hesed6 Well that statement didn't age well... LOL. Now Joe is as well known as any other guitarist on the planet. Thanks to reaction videos on UA-cam! Hah, this made my day!
What I like most about this video is the young man in the background, Joe and the band are doing their thing and this young lad is taking it all in, what he likes most of the experience we will never know, it reminds me of my first experience around musicians.
The closest I got to something like this was watching Matt Schofield play at his old secondary school with Johnny and Simon Law on the desk using a run of the mill PA. Wasn't long before Matt move to Florida and Simon moved down south, lost myself a great guitar tech there. Very laid back gig though
I was there!! I was part of the coordination.. Joe I didn't get to hug you but you are one of my many well respected artists put there ♡ I work for Donnie
THANKS! Delighted by the soulful serenade of the miestros behind the plank. Fretboard finesse from Smoking Joe. Tastefully done, well rounded, well seasoned, and all so bluezy. Thanks
Awesome footage Natasha !! I loved this...a more personable look / listen to Joe and the folks playing together. Thank you for posting !! Tell the boys they did awesome !!
Didn’t know who Joe was until few years ago🥴, coz, I live in a cave, DOH! Beyond impressed with his Guitar chops, but good Lord, he is channeling some “chicken choking steam rolling bad ass soul man” on this night ... 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
yeah I agree glenn, but I would add, what he Don't realize is what he soon will, in that, it's 1 of the best or the best blues picker of all time. and he seen him live.
wtf somebody said they like guy king better than joe bonamassa you got to be deaf forealz.. somebody also said they think joe has a screetchy guitar tone and no soul hell no this guy has the best and cleanest sound in the blues game today no doubt.. I also love tab benoit as well I think these are the two best blues guitarist and blues musicians in the industry in the business right know.. all I listen to is blues all day everyday ive heard it all but these two stand out amongst the rest to me in my opinion..
97 you right dude and shreddin' after Joe is not very clever! better playin' some really emotive licks than runnin' after the glory!! anyway a pleasant moment thanx for sharing
So Geil 😜aber ob der Junge der da rechts steht ,weiß das einer der besten Gitarristen der Welt da spielt!😳da wäre ich gerne dabei gewesen. Gruß ausGermany 🎸😁Joe is the best
Just can't get into Joe, tone us great chops are great, good vocal tone, but I never feel anything groove wise, never moves me like Clapton or Robert Cray or Albert Collins, I think it's cerebral for him, not gutteral.....
the alcohol in front of the younger audience is what scares me. seeing others or possibly even their own relations are a great tipping point towards their own gesture towards the wrong side. :(
Fantastic! Love Joe and his voice chills.🔥🦁☮️🤘
Joe will be remembered as one of the greatest guitarist of all times. Got soul, got blues, got emotion, got speed, and most definitely has tact!

Joe is a riff machine. Albeit a great one,but still, I don't think he's ever actually had the blues.
Got chops that leave me cold.....

DAYUM!!! Joe is the man. He's a strange bird, but god damn can he play the blues.
Good Lord knows he was born that way. Have mercy. I can't get enough. Beautiful.
Listening to him never gets old.

The young boy is the son of the owner of the house. He plays guitar himself. Must have been an inspiration for him to witness all this.
Glenn Cleveland I looked liked a set of blue balls in the background
Wow, how do you get invite to something this intimate, awesome :)

Amazing! Love the contrast in style and feeling between Joe and Jason. That would have been an amazing show to witness.

Jason Sinay holds his own.

Haha
I will ask again Joe oh Joe will you marry me??? YOU ARE JUST PERFECT 😘😘😘💋💋💋
6:14 Negan
Why, why why do people choose to hoot and shout when he plays quietly? I don't want to be rude, but it's really obnoxious
Because Americans are thick

Russian balalaika , Russian balalaika on introduction
Great playing but is he a wild man of rock n roll ? Or a tea and biscuits guy?
The Strat player alway says, "no, no."

Blues is great music for guitarist's to play but so shit for bassists and drummers, just monotonous plodding
no one of theme mix another scale than a pentatonic or a blues scale!! that s boring!! why!!!! mr josh smith can you explane why??? ahahahahahah
